I love a boat neck, it’s so flattering. Unfortunately my usual size was huge on me both on the shoulders and on the tummy. Sadly having to return. I think that a smaller size would be tight on the bust. The nightshade colour looks amazing with eucalyptus.- Jan (03/05/2024)

SIZE: Small COLOUR: Soft Spruce
I bought this in five colours and kept all of them as it’s lovely. I was a bit worried from some of the pictures online that the boat would be more of a slash and sit quite high but it doesn’t - it shows a good amount of collar bone which I think looks elegant. The bracelet sleeves are elegant (especially for a hourglass as they draw the eye to the waist) but are quite close fitting so if your arms are larger you might want to try a size up. The fabric is lovely and breathable and doesn’t crease much due to the slight stretch. Long enough to French tuck and wear with a belt. The Soft Spruce is the best colour on me that I’ve ever found (Soft Summer - deep). I would love more items in this colour.- Helen (26/04/2024)
SIZE: Medium COLOUR: Carmine Red
I bought this because it's the first carmine item I've seen that's not wool/expensive. I wasn't sure whether the shape would suit me but the half sleeves are lovely (neither too tight nor so loose that they ride up under a cardi/wrap), the neckline is manageable (I'm not a boatneck person but I can hide the neckline with a scarf) and the colour is FAB. Very happy with this purchase - I can wear this with all my winter neutral trousers (black, navy and indigo) - so it's going to get a lot of use year-round.- Sarah (24/04/2024)

I love the boat neck half sleeve in chestnut, as the fabric is really smooth and falls wonderfully. The colour chestnut is one of my favourite colours as it has a deep and warm glow. I like my tops a bit oversized (my chest is more S-M) and have broad shoulders, so the L works perfectly for me.- Daniela (19/04/2024)

I ordered this in Size L, Silver and Grey Mist Colors. These Summer colors are lovely. However, I expected the fit to be similar to that of the long sleeve boat neck top. I ended up returning both of them because the fit was odd for me, basically a bit shapeless and baggy around the waist. (Perhaps Kettlewell might consider using these colors in their tees and tops which contain a substantial percentage of cotton.)- Jill (18/04/2024)

Definitely a winner. Great style, colour, neckline good for under jackets and half sleeve comfortable. I suspect this will be worn a lot and probably buy more. I’m 5’1”” normally buy small and this fits perfectly. Indigo takes the colour really well in this fabric for those winters always seeking it out.- Margaret (18/04/2024)

This is a great top. Love the colour - it's such a deep purple that it's nearly black and works with both dark blue and black skirts and trousers. The material weight is light, but it still feels solid and durable, and the sleeve length is just right. Really good quality, worth having in several colours.- Clare (17/04/2024)

Odd as it sounds for a KW fan, I really like a good off-white top and have tried several KW off-white shades. After carefully reading reviews on the FB Colour Club site, I purchased size S (I’m size 10-12, 32E bust). Pros: the neckline is a perfect elegant boatneck, and the half sleeves look great not frumpy. It is not easy finding short-sleeved (not sleeveless or long-sleeved) tops that work for work. The Ivory shade works for this Summer--bit lighter and less goldeny than Cream which I can also wear. Slight con: the body is boxier/less fitted than I would prefer, but that's just nitpicking particularly as the top can readily be tucked in.- Colleen (13/04/2024)

I made the mistake of going up a size in this and it swamped me. I love the colour but feel the top is far too flimsy and the image is misleading. It would be helpful if we could know what size the model is and what size she is wearing. I would love to see this in a more substantial material without stretch. SIZE: Large COLOUR: Light Sage
These come up much bigger than previous half sleeve t shirts. I bought my usual size L and it's a good couple of inches wider. I also don't like the new fabric. It feels a bit lightweight in comparison to the old one. I was delighted to see lighter autumn colours so I ordered light sage and apricot. Light sage is lovely. Apricot is brighter but it is a spring crossover. I'm returning them as they are too big. I don't think I will order a smaller size as I'm not mad on the fabric.- Caroline (20/03/2024)

SIZE: Medium COLOUR: Grey Mist
I ordered grey mist and true blue. I am keeping the true blue , which will be great with jeans and navy but I am returning the grey mist. The colour is reasonably good on me but the fabric is very thin and in the lighter colour it just shows too much of my bra (which is a t-shirt bra and fine under the true blue) so I am returning it. I am tempted by the nightshade but I want to see how badly the fabric creases before I commit to another one. The medium fit very well, even though sometimes the medium is tight on me. I was very excited to see this top was available in XL. I love the style, the boat neck is not so wide that it shows bra straps. The material hangs well and is smart. I bought this exact style from KW about three years ago .... It was last of sale and a pretty French Grey. I was so happy to see this back! I've worn mine from office wear under a suit to belted tunic style with a tiered dress on a beach holiday ..... VERY versatile. This will be the first of my new season additions in three of my favourite shades - looking forward to pairing with the printed culottes and a pretty KW denim skirt .....
