Sharing your information

- Credit reference agencies, law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, so we can help tackle fraud
- Companies approved by you, such as social media sites (if you choose to link your accounts to us) and PayPal where you choose to use their payment service
- We work with Epsilon Abacus (registered as Epsilon International UK Ltd), a company that manages the Abacus Alliance on behalf of UK retailers and Charities. The participating retailers are active in the clothing, collectables, food & wine, gardening, gadgets & entertainment, health & beauty, household goods, and home interiors and travel categories. They share information on what their customers buy. Epsilon Abacus analyses this pooled information to help the retailers understand consumers’ wider buying patterns. From this information, retailers can tailor their communications, sending people suitable offers that should be of interest to them, based on what they like to buy.
- Epsilon Abacus may transfer data outside the EEA. The transfer will take place in the presence of appropriate safeguards, including standard data protection clauses adopted by the EU Commission.
- We work with Sub2 Technologies Limited ("Sub2"), a company which acts as our data processor in order to maximise website user engagement. We share with Sub2 (or Sub2 accesses directly from your website use) information about you and how you use our website, including any information that you provide to us. This information is then used for the purposes of providing you with marketing which is more relevant to you and your interests.
- We will share your data with the Marketing Services Provider listed below, who will use it to help direct marketing organisations such as ourselves better understand the likely characteristics of their customers; communicate with them more effectively; and also identify prospective customers. - Your personal data is shared with Experian Ltd for the purposes of managing a service called Club Canvasse, a home shopping and direct retailer data co-operative of which Kettlewell Colours are members. By sharing information on what customers buy and pooling that with contributions from other members of the co-operative, the service allows Kettlewell to better understand our customers and to communicate with you more effectively. Please note, your personal information is not shared with any of the other members of the co-operative, and only aggregated data on the number and value of purchases is provided to members e.g. we will receive a report which states how many customers who have bought from us in the last 0-12mths, and who have also bought from other members of the co-operative in the last 0-12months, or the last 24months, last 36months etc.To understand more please click through to Experian’s website to understand more about their marketing services’
- To find new customers for our business we are a member of a co-operative of UK retail brands that pool and share transactional information. We work with a Company called Conexance that processes customer transactional data on behalf of each Member. This process highlights spending patterns and allows us to identify suitable prospects to receive an introduction from us via the post. Thus, we send offers and information only to prospective customers that are likely to be interested in buying from us. Co-op Member brands operate in numerous categories, including apparel, home and garden, collectables, food and wine, gadgets and gifts, entertainment, health and beauty, travel and leisure. If you would like to exclude certain categories or rather your information was not included in this processing at all just email email@example.com and we will ensure it is not shared for the purpose above.
If you have given us permission, we’ll send you marketing messages by email to keep you aware of what we’re up to and to help you see and find our products. Our communications are designed to tell you about the benefits we can offer, so that you have exclusive access to our best deals. We use the information we have about you to tailor the content and try to ensure that the offers are as relevant to you as possible.
How to stop marketing messages from Kettlewell
If you don't want to receive marketing messages from us, you can stop receiving them at any time.
You can do this:

- By clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in an email

Once you do this, we will update your profile to ensure that you don’t receive further marketing messages.
If you unsubscribe from marketing message emails you will still receive service communications such as order confirmations, dispatch confirmations etc.
