I bought this in five colours and kept all of them as it’s lovely. I was a bit worried from some of the pictures online that the boat would be more of a slash and sit quite high but it doesn’t - it shows a good amount of collar bone which I think looks elegant. The bracelet sleeves are elegant (especially for a hourglass as they draw the eye to the waist) but are quite close fitting so if your arms are larger you might want to try a size up. The fabric is lovely and breathable and doesn’t crease much due to the slight stretch. Long enough to French tuck and wear with a belt. The Soft Spruce is the best colour on me that I’ve ever found (Soft Summer - deep). I would love more items in this colour. read more »

I bought this because it's the first carmine item I've seen that's not wool/expensive. I wasn't sure whether the shape would suit me but the half sleeves are lovely (neither too tight nor so loose that they ride up under a cardi/wrap), the neckline is manageable (I'm not a boatneck person but I can hide the neckline with a scarf) and the colour is FAB. Very happy with this purchase - I can wear this with all my winter neutral trousers (black, navy and indigo) - so it's going to get a lot of use year-round. read more »

I love the boat neck half sleeve in chestnut, as the fabric is really smooth and falls wonderfully. The colour chestnut is one of my favourite colours as it has a deep and warm glow. I like my tops a bit oversized (my chest is more S-M) and have broad shoulders, so the L works perfectly for me. read more »

I ordered this in Size L, Silver and Grey Mist Colors. These Summer colors are lovely. However, I expected the fit to be similar to that of the long sleeve boat neck top. I ended up returning both of them because the fit was odd for me, basically a bit shapeless and baggy around the waist. (Perhaps Kettlewell might consider using these colors in their tees and tops which contain a substantial percentage of cotton.) read more »
