Love this skirt. initially went for a S as wasn't sure on size but definitely needed to go down. I seem to be either a S or XS . not consistent. Really easy to wear, can smarten up or dress down. I haven't had to washed it yet so cant comment on that. It goes without saying that it also goes with everything i have in my wardrobe, tops and jumpers and jackets and accessories. looks great with long boots and flat loafers- Sarah (12/03/2024)

I think I've already written a review on my Gillie Pont skirt in Dark Olive but if not, here it is. I think this is a lovely skirt - perfect length, just below the knee for me at 5'4" and cut in a nice 'A' Line which is flattering and easy to wear. I've worn it such a lot this winter already with thick tight and knee-high boots - it will be great when the warmer weather arrives too when it can be worn with looser tops. I'm looking forward to wearing it with one of my Cara V tops - think it will look quite relaxed and casual. Yes, a nice easy skirt -thank you Kettlewell. xx- Lizzie (12/02/2024)

A very nice skirt - the fit is good, much better than the Geri Skirt from 2021 . The ponte fabric is much thicker and consequently the Gillie hangs better than the Geri and without as much 'cling'.. Nice comfortable waist, just a slight A line look and a sweet little hem rise at the side seam which adds interest. A very useful, practical skirt. It will get lots of wear. I do hope Kettlewell consider another knee length skirt in this ponte fabric for the future.- Lizzie (12/01/2024)

This is the first skirt I have bought from Kettlewell. I was worried if might be a little large at the waist but it fits nicely and I like the neutral colour. It does need a petticoat as it seems to cling a bit without due to the fabric I guess. I would order it in the longer style also but it is so long that I would have to have inches cut off. I wonder if Kettlewell might consider making the longer skirts a few inches shorter?- Catherine (25/12/2023)

SIZE: LL COLOUR: Dark Olive
This skirts fits me beautiful with my XL size. It is not too tight around the belly and flows nicely. I would have liked some pockets in it though to make it perfect. The fabric is soft and I have worn it on warm days.- Yo (29/08/2023)

Rose Brown was one of my wow colors, so I had high hopes for this skirt. I’m 5’4” 125 lbs. The skirt was the right length but just looked frumpy on me- the hips didn’t smooth and the waist was a little baggy.- Kathryn (26/07/2023)

Bought in medium navy and cosmos purple. Wry comfortable and easy to wear. Am 5’3” and sits just on the knee line. Kept the navy as a fantastic neutral basic and I’ve worn for work and an evening event. Easy to dress up or down. Feels effortless to wear. Hangs well. Flattering, even for those of us with a tummy. SIZE: LL COLOUR: Dark Olive
I was really looking forward to getting this skirt but I am so disappointed. I really wanted this skirt to look gorgeous and I had already planned how to wear it. Sadly, the skirt doesn't seem to be cut symmetrically and goes out more over one hip. I'm not sure if it's because i am between a L and LL but it didnt dit right on the waist either. It is going back. It's such a shame because I ordered it in dark olive, I'm an Autumn, and it's a beautiful rich shade.- Louise (27/10/2022)

Love this skirt. I’m an Ingenue Gamine and it suits my shape well. I am a 10/12 and preferred it in a Medium to a Small - but that is personal preference. I bought it to go with a Darcey V in the same colour but it doesn’t quite tone so I’ve worn it with other colours instead.- DMG (11/10/2022)

This Gillie ponte skirt is already established as a firm favourite. As a winter, I bought navy, size M. I've been mixing it with jumpers, cardigans and simple tops. I wore it 3 times last week - washes and dries well. I will be wearing it to work tomorrow. It isn't lined, so I put a short slip underneath. I am pear-shaped, minimalist so I like a neat look on top with the A-line skirt balancing out my bottom half. I wear the skirt with knee length fake suede boots in dark navy. Great combinations with Kettlewell tops are: faux wrap or long sleeve cowl (tucked in) with the classic suede belt (in sapphire). The matching navy Ada pointe top looks good - I wear a scarf with it as the full navy outfit needs a colour pop on me. The Elle cardigan and Connie sweater are warmer options too. . This makes it sound like my entire wardrobe is Kettlewell. I have a number of pieces, but not extensive. The thing is: this basic skirt goes with every top I own because it is a base colour for a winter. Magically, I now have extended my wardrobe - a bit like having a great pair of jeans. Only I can wear this to the office too! My problem? I now find a yearning for another Gillie (in cosmos purple), a classic suede belt (in dark amethyst), and a silky roll neck (in indigo).
