Loved the fit of this dress. True yo. Size. Very simple styling, but so flattering! Had to chop a good 5 or 6 inches from the hem to suit my 5ft frame, but par for the course. This dress is a really useful wardrobe item for dressing up or down and for different times of the year. I bought dark amethyst as it is my very favourite colour. The fabric is very substantial and covers lumps and bumps nicely, I just hope it doesn't "seat" while sitting. After buying ‘safe navy’ I had to have another - it’s a great colour. As I travel a lot I’m always looking for versatile pieces - this certainly falls in to the category of ‘useful’ and for me ‘basic’ as actually my CP is romantic and dramatic! I will always wear it under something - a shirt or kimono or jumper etc and bold jewellery. it’s a great fabric, and even with my hourglass figure, I can make it work as it’s thick enough not to show too many ‘curves’! Love this dress..very comfortable…I am an AUS size 16 Apple shape and this still had room to move, not too tight…also ordered the navy in LL and this fits great too. Just depends on how I’m feeling on the day as to whether I wear the XL or the LL. Both the hibiscus and bright navy are gorgeous colours and great for me being a blue spring.
