A Christmas message from Melissa
2023 has been such a magical and busy year; I can’t quite believe how quickly Christmas has crept up on us. It's been a year of change and new beginnings, and at times has passed by in nothing more than an excited blur of colour!
At the beginning of the year my husband & business partner John stepped back from Kettlewell, and I was unsure how the business would look without his decades of knowledge and expertise. However, I am truly overjoyed to have a wonderfully talented team that have been my strength and support in continuing to expand and grow my vision for Kettlewell.
My dreams have come true in the Colour Studio, a space I have envisioned since the first days of Kettlewell. The positive energy created in there by our amazing stylists and customers has made it one of my very favourite places to be!
And the Colour Studio simply wouldn't be possibly without the Colour Club, which has such a special place in my heart. I am so lucky to have such an invested community who share my passion for all things colour. This year, it felt only right to invite Ali Maybury (our brilliant Colour Club Community Manager) onto this years’ Christmas message, to share my gratitude for her support and to reflect on my 2023 highlights, as well as some of the exciting prospects for a colourful 2024!

Thank you Melissa and Ali for a great video and Melissa for creating such a colourful business. Ali thank you, for your fantastic support and positivity. I totally share your passion for colour Melissa, in this very 'monochrome' world. Hopefully one day I will be able to travel down south, for a couple of days to visit your amazing colour studio. Wouldn't it be fabulous if we could convert every human being to love colour to reduce all the black and grey that bombards us on the high street. I went into Zara last week with my daughter, 80% of the stock was black or contained some black. OK for some winters, but for the rest of us 🥺.
