Lovely flowing fabric with a deep elasticated waistband. I am a size 12 and ordered medium and large. Both fitted but I kept the large because i needed the depth and wanted a looser fitting (more skirt like). I also wanted to tuck in a matching coloured top to look imitate a jump suit style. The Racer back tee did the job perfectly for this and also the boat neck half sleeve. Looks great IMO Have also tried with my other Kettlewell tops in different colours, pink ice and cherry, very versatile addition to my wardrobe. read more »

I love these culottes. I have no idea why I held off buying them - maybe because I've previously been told that shorter trousers aren't my best look. But whatever. I saw loads of people wearing culottes on my holidays in France and was insanely jealous that i didn't have a pair , so sent off for the Marine Navy pair in Medium & Large on my return because I'd put a few lbs on, and had read reviews on here and in the Colour Club about them showing your lumps and bumps. I'm 5ft 5, usually a size 12 or 14 on the bottom half, can be a 10 or a 12 on top, I'm on the cusp of a neat hourglass / inverted triangle depending on how much weight I'm carrying. And I'm a vibrant autumn, natural classic romantic dramatic. But natural above all else. I love them. The medium fit perfectly. And yes, you do have to have a careful knicker choice underneath as otherwise a VPL can be an issue, but there are no other lumps and bumps problems for me. I loved them so much I sent off for them in every other autumn colour (the sale had started by this point and they are all reduced) as I quickly realised I'd be wearing them all summer given the bizarre weather we're having. They are just as great for working from home as for office wear and casual. And when all the other colour ways arrived, I surprised myself by loving the eucalyptus colour the most, and I kept the stone one as well as I know it will come in handy. I did try for a jumpsuit look with a matching Pippa, but that looked ridiculous on me, so I've given that idea a miss. read more »

Like other ladies I was unsure how these culottes would look on me. However I was encouraged by the review on 02/04/24 by Gillian the 82 year old lady as I am 77, 5ft 1 and not the slim thing I used to be. I ordered a pair in Marine Navy- Large which arrived yesterday. They are quite long but otherwise fit perfectly. The material is soft and swingy.
