Lovely soft fabric, beautiful colour and a move away from my norm by having the detailing on the top of the sleeve. Fitted, which suits my body shape. Bought three of these sensationally soft scoops for winter layering. I particularly love the unusual colour combination on this one. Long enough in the body to keep your kidneys warm, soft and feminine. Perfect cold weather top! LL for a UK 18 is a comfy fit without stretching.- Julia (23/01/2024)

I decided to take advantage of this sale price and try one of these tops in apple & soft white. Unfortunately the puffy sleeves are not for me.so it’s heading back to Kettlewell. I now have 3 of these tops and could easily pick a couple more but am trying to restrain myself as I think that new spring/summer styles will soon be on their way. I love the stripes and the style of this top which fits me nicely in XS. It is not too short either which I like. I particularly like the contrast between light and dark stripes in some of these tops. Especially the dark brown stripe. Ordered this in the sale and loved the colours and fabric when it arrived. Unfortunately, when I tried it on, the fit just didn't work for me so have returned. I sized up to LL as it was described as a 'fitted' style but sadly just not flattering on me.- Angela (04/01/2024)

I was very pleased when you introduced the stripey scoop and bought the chalk violet/ airforce blue, it was an okay colour for me nothing interesting really. I was not drawn to Navy and White nor Claret and White as I don't like Navy on me and I don't like Claret. Nothing wrong with the sizing for me but even 40% off does not persuade me to buy more though I love the shape of the neck. Really boring colours I'm afraid, such a shame as I love this particular style.- Sandra (03/01/2024)

The colours of this top are amazing but the sizing is dreadful. In all other kettlewell tops, I buy a small. I bought the small in this and it was tiny. It was so small that I rang kettlewell to discuss / complain. I returned the small. A few weeks later, I tried again and bought a medium, as i thought the sizing for this style may be wrong and a medium would fit. It's too big. I gave up then and just kept it as I like the colour and the style. Once the sizing is sorted out, it'd be a great all rounder- Sandra (23/12/2023)
Reply from Kettlewell - Sorry to hear this. It sounds like there has been an error for the sizes to fit so differently. I wonder if the size S was incorrectly labelled and was in fact size XS. Please do call customers services as we always like to help you find the right fit.

I love this top! Playful & comfy! It perfectly matches bright orange pants that I already owned! I am usually a Kettlewell small, but ordered this in Medium for a little extra room. Well, this is the new favourite top in my wardrobe. I have a huge collection of the Stripey Pima Tees - which I could happily live in - but the Stripey Stella is even better. As a Natural Ingenue, I love the snuggly cotton, simple scoop neck and the lightly gathered shoulders. The slightly closer than the Pima Tee - but not clingy - fit is flattering. As a Summer, the pretty Chalk Violet/Airforce Blue is perfect for me - so I had to buy it in the Stripey Pima Tee style too! but I have bought all my Summer Colours in the Stella, and hope many more will follow.- Sally (27/10/2023)

I really like this top. It’s a nice length and the XS size is perfect for me. I particularly like the darker stripes like my chocolate brown one as they contrast well with the pale stripes and I am thinking of getting another! This is lovely warm and snuggly , easy to wear top. It is a great length to wear with trousers and has a very flattering neckline. I love the rich dark chocolate brown stripes which are not too wide. Great to wear on its own or to layer in colder weather.- Pat (06/10/2023)

I like everything about this Stella top, from the gorgeous deep claret and white colour, to the neckline and slight ruching on the shoulders. In KW, I size as a Small or Medium, depending on style, and opted for the Medium which is fine. As usual with KW, it's a good quality huggable fabric. Perfect for this time of year. Just a pity there wasn't a Florence infinity in deep claret to go with it.- Karen (28/09/2023)

I really liked the look of this top in chalk grey and airforce blue, so I bought it quickly in case my size sold out. I have worn it several times already. It is soft and comfortable, fits well and holds its shape in the wash. In my opinion, the scoop neck with blue trim and ruched sleeves give a pretty touch, without seeming fussy.- Helen (11/09/2023)

This is a lovely soft top in a good choice of colours, I bought the Chalk Violet stripe as I am a Summer and the colour and fit is perfect, the ruching and scoop neck make it particularly stylish. You could get away with sizing up on this top if you wanted a looser fit.- Janice (08/09/2023)

I really like this top and will probably be ordering another. The stripes come in a great range of colours and the top comes in a flattering style with its scoop neck and good length. beautiful colors, fabric is so soft , light , I wish that the gatherings on the shoulders were more pronounced. I also bought it in the Apple color. Although I am a summer, I bought the soft white/ and apple which looks great on me. although the "soft white" is closer to cream. I was tempted by the claret but the white is described as "white" and therefore better for winters rather than summers. The fabric is very soft and stretchy so while it is fitted, it doesn't seem constraining. The neckline is flattering. The gathered sleeves didn't stick up so just softened the look rather than looking "perky".- Delphine (29/08/2023)

Unfortunately this just didn’t work for me. I felt the colours were too muted and didn’t really suit my Summer colouring. The fabric felt too thin and the neckline in particular was too loose and unstructured. Perhaps if I had sized down this might have worked better in this fabric.- CML (25/08/2023)

Got one in chocolate and one in mustard to prepare for Autumn. While the fabric is definitely soft as can be (think pajama soft!), it was also very lightweight and I found that it made the top too stretchy and unable to hold basic structure well. Overall, on me it looked sloppy and accentuated lumps and bumps, especially since it was a striped pattern. I was not a fan of the shoulder ruching on top of that so, sadly, this one will be returned.- Lex (08/08/2023)

Went right back due to the sleeves. I didn't see that the sleeves are gathered when I ordered. I bought two tops in my spring color and they both looked great until I saw the sleeves. They look like they are for a teenager. Very sad!- Sue (08/08/2023)

Bought one in mustard and one in chocolate. Lovely style, especially like the shoulder ruching! But..... Stella material seemed thinner, more stretchy than other pima fabric tops and feel style overpriced in comparison.- Ann (08/08/2023)

I so loved the aqua stripe but the style was not for me. I ordered LL and L and found little difference. Much too short for me, especially with the fairly low very round neck and not keen on the gathered sleeve tops.
