SIZE: X Small COLOUR: Lemon Yellow
Lovely basic T shirt - good shape and not these dreadful "relaxed" ones you and others seem very keen to keep producing! I laugh at the phrase, size down for a better fit, you don't consider the loyal customers who are already an XS!! Anyway these are not too loose, sort of semi fitted and I have a number of these in beautiful bright colours and they are a real go to throughout the year - please keep these going.- Katrina (25/03/2024)

I am new to Kettlewell, but have been trying different sizes and colors for my summer pallet. The Angel Blue is a beautiful color and feel of material is very soft and comfortable. It is a flattering fit. I am a U.S. size 8 or medium, and I tend to be either a M or L at Kettlewell. I am glad I sized up to the L in this style.- Wendy (28/09/2023)

This beautifully soft fabric is wonderful to wear, but has a tendency to stretch a little so I sized down for this tee (I'm usually a 14-16). It fits perfectly & washes well - which is a good thing, as I took it as a layering piece for a Scottish holiday . Expected weather = cold & rainy; actual weather = boiling hot & sunny. It was my only t-shirt, so I wore it pretty much every day for 2 weeks & it stood up to the continued use & washing wonderfully! The Lemon Yellow is a really joyful colour that brought a smile to my face every time I put it on - please make MUCH more in it (bottoms as well as tops)!- Clare (17/08/2023)

Bought 2 colors- aquamarine and peach cocktail. Bought a size L at bit small on me, I usually wear size 16 for tops and even though the fabric is flexible I’d still go with LL. Sadly returning both. Also, aquamarine color is a bit disappointing, on the model on the website color appears to be lighter. In reality it’s more toward teal. The peach cocktail beautiful color but the tshirt had a stain / discoloration on it so returned. Will buy LL- Sharon (16/08/2023)

The pink peacock is a lovely colour and perfect for my second hetta pima scoop purchase. Not sure what took me so long to buy these, as they are great, easy wear, "go to" tops in gorgeous intense colours. Great for petites. The medium size is fine for my size 10/12 UK. Lovely, soft material, and a gorgeous colour. I bought it to go with an existing skirt, but the weather's been so bad I actually haven't worn it to give the full effect! I could have gone a size down, I think, as I'm a 14 - 16 rather, than a true 16, but it's not bad thing to have something that smooths over the lumps and bumps...Please, please bring it back in a long sleeve option, too! This is my favorite summer tee, hands down. It's superb in color, comfort and style. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and I find myself reaching for this top on most days. Lovely tshirt. Fits nicely, soft and comfortable. Nice length to avoid muffin top escape between the gap, but not so long that it has to be pulled down to avoid too much gathering around the waistband. I am 5’7”, size 10-12, slightly broad shoulders and small bust and the small fits me just right - flattering my waist bit without being too tight. Sleeves a great length and scoop perfect. I bought it at the same time as the half sleeve scoop neck tshirt which I don’t like as much - comes up a bit tighter and not as soft (although still lovely). I love these Hetta Pima Scoop Tops! I have five of them. I purchased three before I lost 25 lbs. and I still use those for hiking. I purchased two more this year, and the smaller size is a perfect fit. I'm 5'3", 118 lbs, and the size Small fits perfectly. I love how stretchy they are, and the colors are gorgeous. They are expensive compared to many U.S. prices but I've been purchasing from Kettlewell for the past three years or so, and the quality makes the price worth it when you consider cost per wear. People are always asking, "Where did you get that color?" I love the scoop neck, not too low or too high. I'm on the computer tonight purchasing one in a new color, HPS #6!- Rebecca (21/06/2023)

I love the pimas and have several short sleeve,long sleeve and stripey. I am 5’ 7” ,size 12/14 , broad shoulders and smallish bust. I have always bought a size L in these but have started buying size M. They feel snug when you try them on but they do have plenty of stretch so to keep the snug fit I am trying the smaller size. They are very flattering and seem to mould around your body. I have found they need a little more care when washed. I don’t hang them on the line as they can stretch. Drying flat is not always possible so hanging over my banister works for me. The angel blue is very pretty. I also ordered pink peacock which is more vibrant.- Joanne (31/05/2023)

Lovely lightweight Summer top in a gorgeous colour. I love all the Hetta tops and this one is no exception. I am a size 10/12 but always size down with Kettlewell as the fabrics are usually quite stretchy. The XS fits perfectly on my 5 foot five inch frame. It's well-made, a great fit, a flattering scoop, and the usual fabulous saturation of colour, which is what I come to expect from Kettlewell. I havent actually worn this yet. It was a sale purchase as i love my long sleeved hetta pima tops. If this wasnt scoop i would like it more. Hope i will wear it a lot. I also bought citronella and i was surprised how much i like that colour. I wouldnt have gone for it if it wasnt in the sale. I would have preferred a size up for the summer but it wasnt available. This is a lovely top and will be great for the summer. Lovely quality, a bit of a sleeve, and bought in Brick Red as an Autumn , which is a good colour and not a merky colour. Soon time to put the olive green and chocolate brown away for something more bright, and this fits the bill as its a rich colour. A lot of stretch so sized down to S. Cosy and comfortable as a layer if you like short sleeves. I have been debating buying this top for literally years and am so glad I finally ordered it. It will be perfect for the summer with white trousers/skirt and I have just bought a pair of black capris, yes I know only winters should wear black but in my book every wardrobe needs a pair of black trousers they go with everything. The fit is perfect for my small 5ft frame, the scoop just right as are the sleeves, fabric soft and the colour is WONDERFUL! This color is a 'wow' color for me. Had to get it in large, unfortunately as that is quite big, but works well with a lace edged cami underneath. The fabric is lovely, soft and smooth. The addition of modal contributes both softness and a resistance to wrinkling. The fabric also has quite a lot of give, so you could probably size down if you need to.- Michelle (30/01/2023)

This color is exceptionally flattering on me, a dark summer. The pima cotton modal blend is incredibly soft and lovely. This style runs large and I would have gotten a medium in this color but they were sold out, so I went with the large. I bought this to be worn in summer, or layered under a jacket or jumper in our mild Queensland winters. I ordered size L and I'm an Australian size 12-14. The colour Brick Red in this style is a vibrant yet soft orange/brown/red. Great if you find true red overwhelms you. Style wise, it is more body hugging than my Cara V. If in doubt size up I'd say. Versatile, flattering, easy-to-wash, comfy, stretchy scoop neck t-shirt. Length is good too. Own a bunch of colors. Would like to see more deeper green shades added. This style should be stocked all year round as others have pointed out (if possible) because it's easy to layer under a button-down shirt or sweater as well as wear by itself. I have just bought two of these in Brick Red and Moss as an Autumn, and both S and M. Lovely soft material of cotton mixture, the cut and the colours. As there is quite a lot of give in the material, I had to downsize to S. I would normally take M in the vast majority of tops but M was a bit big and loose. Highly recommend for the summer. I don't mind spending that bit more on these as I know they will last, keep their shape and not fade in the wash. I've never had a KW piece fade in all my 15+ years of buying!- Una (23/06/2022)

This is my 2nd Hetta short sleeve, I also have 2 long sleeved ones. I find the material a bit more forgiving on my lumps and bumps and the scoop is not too low. I was going to buy the cassis but it sold out in my size, so I decided to try the Midnight Grey as it has a bluish hue to it and blue greys are supposed to be summers greys. This is my first hetta pima scoop. Having an hourglass figure, this is a great t-shirt - scoop neckline, lovely soft material with some give and not too long (I am only 5'2"). I love the citronella colour, bright but not too bright and a gorgeous yellow green. This is my first Hetta Pima Scoop and it won’t be my last, It is super soft and comfy. The scoop neck is not too low which is important to me as I tend to get cold easily. The semi-fitted style is excellent as it follows the shape of your body without showing lumps & bumps. The brick red version looks great with a jeans and a pair of white trainers for the classic red, white and blue look. Lovely shape and coral colour is beautiful. Just a shame the cotton fabric is poor quality (unlike the Pippa, Darcey or Cotton V for example). In my opinion it is no better than a much cheaper high street buy - except of course you can't get the same colour choice there. I am fearful this top may lose its shape after wearing/washing a few times. Bought a LL so as not to be too clingy on my size 14 body but L would have been fine. My first short sleeve Hetta and I love it. Really flattering sleeve length and hugs the body.. but not too much! Does not show bra straps or lumps and bumps and the length is perfect for tucking in or leaving untucked. I love an untucked tee so this is great for my body shape (hour glass) as with the boxy cuts I normally have to tuck or half-tuck... not an ideal look for someone like me with long legs and a short waist. It also breathes very well making it great for hot Summer days. Aquamarine looks great with the Aqua silk scarf and Soft Camel Rachelle Jacket, so easy to dress up with a few accessories and layers.- Melissa (31/05/2022)

Absolutely fantastic T-shirt. I so wish the long sleeved version was shorter as I'd be buying them left right and centre! I'm petite, size 6 with average proportions. The Hetta Pima Scoop size xs fits really well. The brick red colour is brighter than I'd anticipated but it's still a warm red. The scoop is a nice shape, not too low or wide. I've been looking for a great plain tee (no puffed sleeves or other similar features) in a size XS. I'm a 5'1" petite gamine and have found something I really like with the Hetta Pima Scoop. I wanted great autumnal colours (rich, earthy, warm) rather than colours that are shared with summer. So the Hetta tee comes in a small but fantastic autumnal colour range, the fabric is soft and a pleasure to wear, the scoop neck is not too low and the Tee is a good length (not incredibly long like it's long sleeved cousin). So I'll be buying more as long as KW continue to stock it in XS (it's usually the kiss of death when I find something I like, it's quickly discontinued in size XS!). Love the color, the fabric and the fit. I wish it wasn't so sheer. In this order, I also received a soft square neck in ice pink. I mention it because it has an extra layer of fabric for the front to prevent it from being see through. I realize this may be due to ordering such a pale color (Mint Ice in the Hetta) but it takes away from my overall enjoyment by having to layer it or just deal with the fact that you can see through it. I've loved the long sleeve version of these tops for a while and was excited to get a short sleeved version. Sadly returned the Pink Geranium (a double star colour for me usually!) as it was somewhat see-through, even with a flesh coloured bra. I could wear a flesh cami under it but that will be too hot in the Summer months. I also returned the Geranium Pink Pima long sleeve top with the same problem in the same order. Interestingly my partner's dark bra barely shows under the Ice Blue so that seems a safe bet for Winters! She looks great in it. She returned acid yellow because of the same transparency problem I was having with Pink Geranium. Literally half my wardrobe is Kettlewell and this is the first review I have ever written. I love this top because it is the perfect shape, it is comfortable, and it looks good with all my other clothes. It pairs well with skirts, shorts, jeans, you name it. I am somewhere between an inverted triangle and hourglass and this top flatters. I live in a three season climate so I wear these tops all year round. They also look great with the short wraps. I was really looking forward to this rose madder top but am so disappointed by the color. I would say it leans close to shocking pink, only slightly softer. My experience of rose madder is a smidge warmer and redder than what I’m holding. Also found it runs smaller than the everyday tee. Both are “semi-fitted”. I am so pleased with my first 2 Hetta Pima Scoops that I have just ordered another when I was only going to write this review! The scoop is not too low , is flattering and sits very neatly just in the right place. The shaping is excellent and the seams flat. It does not look the most exciting shape on the hanger but I am finding I am returning to it time and again. The pima is the softest imaginable but with substance. I am confident it will be wash and wear as well as any of my other Kettlewell garments. The colours I have selected are Light Aqua, Blue jewel and light mint. I bought two of these (Ganzi purple and Blue jewel) and am very pleased with both. I just wish I'd spotted this style sooner, before the red had sold out. I am 5' 2", 9st 5lbs and bought these in small. The cut is very flattering - fitted but less so than the cotton v-neck t-shirt (which is just a touch too fitted in the same size); flattering sleeves - not too short. I really like the way Kettlewell display items online, so that you can see the cut and shape of different styles, relative to others. I have washed and dried one (low tumble dry) and then compared it to the other and it has kept its size and shape well. The fabric is beautifully soft. I'd love to see Kettlewell do this in a much wider range of colours (I'm a clear/bright Winter) - it would be my 'go to' t-shirt - and am just sorry that they are not restocking this until Spring 2022.- Debra (30/04/2021)

I wanted to love this top, having several long Hetta's (and more on order). I am an L in all other Kettlewell tops but found this one too big in the shoulders. At 5'11 some Kettlewell tops are just too short for me and, although the length in the description indicated it should be fine, I felt this is one I would be pulling down all the time. A shame as the cotton, scoop neckline and colour are lovely. As we move into spring this beautifully soft top takes over from silky scoops as a base layer under lightweight v-neck sweaters or sweatshirts. One could also throw on a jacket, and it would be great for work and special occasions like eating out! At 5'2" I've been avoiding the Hetta items as the beloved Hetta Pima Long Tee was far too long for me to wear successfully though the softness appeals to many. The Hetta Pima Scoop however proved to be a brilliant fit because the fabric allows the tee to fall softly over the body disguising any lumps and bumps and it feels wonderful worn either on its own or as a layer. I love the depth of the neckline too as it isn't too compromising to wear in any situation. Delighted to find this in amber, I know I shall be buying more of this wonderful garment. Kettlewell always provides useful descriptions and helpful measurements. When you find a style you love, you know that you can usually find that again in other seasons and the company really listens to feedback to re-stock sort after styles. I believe everyone can find something they will absolutely love and repeat buy in the future. As a HS 14 I buy large in fitted styles and and medium in in relaxed items. Super-soft, great quality cotton top. Scoop neck is just right. And at 5’10” I often find tees too short for me, this is perfect length sits on the top of my hips. Initially on unpacking I thought it was too small, but there is some give in the fabric and I soon changed my mind. Its washed really well too. I’m a big fan of the long sleeve Hetta Pima so it seemed rude not to try the T-shirt. I have size L in the long sleeve but L in the T-shirt looked too fitted for my taste so sized up, giving me a bit more room around shoulders and bust. I’m a 16 top , 14 bottom , 5ft 6 and the length is fine. The fabric feels lighter and thinner than the long sleeve version, should be cool and comfortable in warm weather. This is my favourite KW tee - the fit and drape are lovely, as is the feel of the soft cotton. I thought Wisteria might be a bit washed out for someone who suits bright Spring colours but it actually has quite a lot of depth in this style/material and is a really attractive colour. This Amber top is such a beautiful shade, it works well with so many items in my Autumn wardrobe. The fabric is soft on the skin. The neckline feels low at the moment but I'm sure I'll appreciate it on a hot summer's day. My only niggle is that it's an inch or two longer than I want as I'm only 160cm tall! I bought a couple of these because initially I loved the softness of the fabric. But I found there were two problems. One, is that the fabric stretches out during the course of the day. So what initially fit in the morning, was droopy and stretched out by the afternoon (especially in the breast area). The second problem is with the dye. I found unexplained dye marks (transfers), or else seeming "bleach" marks - even with washing with like colors on delicate. I had originally thought it was me - that I had spilled something etc. But it's happened now to all three shirts. So you be the judge - it may still be me! Purchased acid yellow and tango red (I’m a winter) in Heta Pima Scoop - love the colours so don’t want to return the tango red but there is a measurable difference in size between the 2 tee shirts. Great style and perfect fit, scoop line not too low, fitted but not clingy, capped sleeves very good, a trifle too long for me but still OK (do NOT make it longer !) . Hope it will become a permanent item with more colours available. Disappointed by colours for Winters: tango red (kept) was good but prefer carmine or raspberry, true blue (returned) OK but found better elsewhere, Ganzi purple (returned) not saturated enough for Winters, tried it will all items in my wardrobe and it looked washed out. Acid yellow (not bought) too warm for a cool/sultry winter. colour suggestions for next year: cassis, hot pink, carmine, raspberry, beaujolais, deep claret, lobelia, sapphire, indigo, cobalt, dark emerald, pine, ice blue, ice green, ice lavender, light grey- Helene (04/07/2020)

I had to buy this as my first choices were sold out and I did not expect to like this colour? How wrong I was! It's very very close to bubblegum and is just LOVELY ! Not too pale and not too dark , it is my first pink from Kettlewell this year and it shows off a tan to perfection . It also goes with so many colours! With greens, with all blues, with black and white, with dark grey and pale grey etc. And with my fuchsia pink trousers- now that was unexpected. Really lovely T shirt. Pima cotton is very good quality and this is a lightweight ribbed top with Pima cotton and modal mix. It's very flattering, gives a nice shape but doesn't cling. It's cut well and good quality material. I bought the pink which is a great colour I haven't had before, and goes well with jeans and my mint and navy coloured chinos. It's also not too long to wear with skirts which I like. I have worn and washed it a few times now and it looks as good as new, in fact I even stained it when clearing up after dinner but the stain came right out on a quick 30 degree machine wash. Very pleased and considering buying the blue one. You could buy cheaper T shirts but I think this one will last a lot longer, not to mention the fabulous colours.- Annette (21/05/2020)

I've bought Hetta longline pima tops in small in the past, and they've become a bit loose and shapeless quite quickly, so I tried the x-small, and it's perfect. The scoop is a bonus, and allows me to show off my jewellery. I know one reviewer thought it was too short, and although I normally like longish tops, for a summer tee I find the shorter length cute (I'm a tad under 5'4") and it sits in a good place on the hips. I am a Spring - not sure which sub-type, but I suit vibrant colours better than pastels and find that light grey is a better neutral for me than beige or cream. The light mint colour, although light, is lovely and vibrant and the pima material soft and comfortable. I found the Hetta Long Tee a bit too long but this one is fine (I'm 5'6" or 168cm) and it is nicely fitted and not too low cut. I was really drawn to the pea green colour, too, but it will only suit me if it is a vibrant green (as it looks in the photo/colour square), rather than the darker and more muted green it looks in the little video (great on Jo, who is an Autumn, though!).- Sarah D (13/04/2020)

Kettlewell, Thank you for a new favorite! If you like the Hetta Long Tee, you will love the Hetta Pima Scoop Tee. The neckline is a little more scooped, the weight is a bit lighter, the overall length is an inch and a half shorter and the sleeves are short for summer.
