Not sure why I waited so long to get this - it’s fabulous and suits me perfectly! A rerate has put moss firmly in my wow colours and I need texture in my looks so this ticks all the boxes. Light, quite warm and packs well. Like it so much I also bought the last of another colour. Very sad that these jackets are being discontinued. The camel is definitely a smaller fit than this one in the same size, but both work well for me.- Kate (30/04/2024)

I had looked at this jacket many times but didn't buy due to cost. When it came on sale I jumped at the chance to purchase. So pleased I did. Its a stunningly beautifully tailored jacket and I love it. Very well made. I'm usually a size 10 so originally picked a small but it was "very snug". I returned it for a medium which fits perfectly. The reviews tempted me on this jacket, feels a tad expensive so must ensure I get plenty of wears out of it. However, my first outings have been pleased. I am petite size so suits me quite well, sadly there are not enough choices for the shorter lady, or should I say just as well as I would spend far more. I was tempted by the Roxy jacket in the Slate colour and pleased to find that the shade is a muted airforce bluey grey with blue rather than grey being more dominant which is perfect for my Summer colouring and goes well with other blue garments , including some of my jeans. The length is cropped ,so it’s perfect with dresses and skirts, but not exclusively short and the fabric, as noted by others, is soft and velvety. I am a British size 8, 101lb (7st 3lb) 5’5” with slim hips and small bust and the XS fits me well without being tight and although the arms are described as slim fitting by others I find them comfortable with room for a sweater underneath. It’s a thin fabric so suitable for warmer weather but could equally be a layering piece in the colder seasons. It’s a modern, youthful design and although expensive even in the sale it is well made and stylish.- Lou (18/01/2024)

I just received the Roxy Jacket in Alpine Green. It looks gorgeous and is exactly what I wanted. Imagine my disappointment when I tried it on to find it is far too small. I have been a customer of Kettlewell for years and everything I have bought is Size Small which has always fitted me perfectly. The size range for Small is 33-35 in and this jacket when done up measures 34". This surely can't be right. Obviously it has been returned.- Pamela (01/01/2024)

I ordered the Roxy jacket in moss fearing that Kettlewell will pull this from their offerings eventually. I have several Roxys and Rachels and they are my most worn and best loved Kettlewell items. The colour is gorgeous and the fit seems no different from my previous Roxys. However, I was dismayed to find that the buttons are shiny gold rather than the burnished gold in the photos - please KW update the info so other customers may know what they are getting. Shiny gold seemed a rather odd choice for an exclusively autumn colour and they really cheapen the overall look. When I queried this with customer service, Rebecca confirmed that all moss Roxys in stock came with shiny gold buttons now. I decided to keep the jacket as it is impossible to find anything like this elsewhere, but given the price of the jacket, I am very disappointed that I now have to look for burnished gold/brass/bronze buttons. So far, all the ones I could find in haberdasheries have a silver backing (why??), which is no good. I also experimented with the spare button and rubbed various substances onto it (vinegar, rubbing alcohol, bleach, hairspray, toothpaste - you can tell I was getting desperate) in the hope that something might react with that awful gold and discolour it but no such luck. I’d been looking at these jackets a while, and finally sent for the Roxy jacket in Greystone as I thought this neutral colour would get most wear. I think it’s a light taupe, not grey at all. The Roxy has a lovely soft fabric and the Medium fits neatly. Although I can’t do it up I think a larger size would look too big on me. I’m a size 14. I’ve only worn it with a dress so far, and looking forward to more wear next year. A navy would be a useful shade to have please.- Carole (17/10/2023)

How have I managed so long without my Roxy shirt jacket! It’s so versatile, and looks good with dresses, jeans, crop trousers. I’m a size 14 and the L fits perfectly. I get that feel good feeling every time I put it on. I have the Rachel jacket which had always been a favourite of mine but I think the Roxy jacket slightly has the edge. At first, I thought the fabric was a bit shiny and I wasn't so sure about it, but I got over that. This jacket is soft, comfortable, and looks great with practically everything. I love the texture and softness of this Roxy Jacket. The colour is so lovely and a great base for wearing other muted colours in my autumn palette. What I don’t love so much about it is that the gold buttons are too bright and shiny and I would have preferred a more dull colour such as copper so they don’t stand out quite as much.- Cecily (18/04/2023)

Please, Kettlewell, keep both because although they have the same design they are quite different. It is a beautiful jacket and the material is fabulous. Beautiful colour, lovely soft material. I am between sizes s and m, and medium is perfect in this jacket. Light weight so good for summer. I am autumn, but don’t normally choose this sort of green, it was in the sale so I gave it a try and am so glad I did, just love the colour and it seems to go with almost everything. I’m surprised by all of the outfits I have that go well with the Seaspray Roxy and how much I like it. I thought it might be a bit bright for me, but I find myself wearing it fairly frequently. The material used for the Roxy and Rachel is fantastic. It might actually be indestructible. It doesn’t crease, stretch out of shape, or even shrink in the dryer. At the same time, it is soft and so pretty! I normally wear a M or L in Kettlewell clothes, and I get the Roxy in M. I have an excellent seamstress that takes them in, a little, on the sides as the style is a bit boxy for me. A tiny bit of shaping at the waist really helps, and the Roxy is my favourite Kettlewell jacket at a result.- Corinne (06/01/2023)

I love my Roxy Jacket! At 5’1”, age 65, and a vibrant autumn, I find clothes shopping a challenge. To find a good shape, in a suitable size, let alone a great colour? Often mission impossible. This purchase ticks all my boxes. A length that covers parts best covered yet doesn’t swamp me, a rich, vibrant colour, and a softness that feels like a warm hug. This is a lovely jacket but I feel it's a bit unsubstantial for the price. Very thin, more as alight cover up instead of a jacket.. It's quite a boxy fit so as an hourglass and quite busty, thought it wasn't quite my style. I had two Roxy jackets already but couldn’t resist the Cobalt Blue colour way when it was available, lovely colour for a Blue Spring. The small size is good for me as I prefer a closer fit being an hourglass shape. It’s not a winter season jacket as it won’t go over thickish sweaters (unless a larger size is bought). SIZE: X Small COLOUR: Pink Raspberry
I've been dithering for ages over which style jacket to buy and in what colour, as I didn't want to make an expensive mistake. Eventually the sale and a generous gift voucher persuaded me! I chose the shorter length Roxy shirt jacket - I'm 5' 0" tall and normally take a size 6-8. Although I would describe myself as an hourglass shape, and this jacket is boxy, nevertheless it works for me because my body is quite long. It looks really good layered over a longer top and of course over a longer skirt or dress. I chose bright pink (fuchsia in tonal terms - I'm a Soft/Cool/Light) for contrast with greys and off-whites in my wardrobe. Fit-wise - XS is perfect for me. The shoulders are spot-on! My only - picky - criticism is that the sleeves are quite snug, which means I definitely won't be able to wear it over anything other than a sleeveless/short-sleeve/thin top or T-shirt. This seems to be a recurring theme for me - Kettlewell need to take account of women who have biceps! (not that I'm boasting....)- devongirl27 (24/08/2022)

Now have one in pink raspberry and also bright violet. I’m a Summer who likes the brighter, clearer shades of the palette. In my usual Size S, no need to size up/down. Although Rachel will always be my favourite, I was pleasantly surprised when I was persuaded to try on this style and found that it can indeed be worn by someone with a bust! Unlike a denim jacket, the miraculous faux fabric is softer and the pockets on Roxy are cleverly positioned a bit higher. I bought a size M (same as Rachel) and found the sleeves are longer - perfect, for me, as I like Roxy styled with the cuffs turned back! Bright Violet was also a revelation - more vivid than it looks on the website and a fabulous ‘Colour Buddy’ to many of my deeper Winter colours; especially magical Indigo!- Alison (05/07/2022)

I wish I bought this earlier. Very, very pleased with the colour. The leaf is lovely and vibrant. The feel of the material and the way it hangs is a delight. It skims nicely over the body no bulkiness. Feels like wearing a light weight cardigan but looks much smarter. This isn’t a style recommended for Apple shapes but nevertheless I love this jacket. I bought the Red Coral first. The colour is gorgeous and vibrant, a real mood lifter, I get compliments whenever I wear it. The material makes a lot of people think it is suede, but it is so easy to care for and doesn’t even mind getting caught in the rain. That is what I call a really useful jacket. So I thought, why not get another one? I bought the Leaf green one next and am finding my way around incorporating it into my outfits, it being the first (of 2) green items I have in my wardrobe. I really love this jacket. It looks fab on, and is very comfy and perfect for added warmth when it's a tad chilly out, or in an over air-conditioned office. I've gotten lots of compliments on it and I absolutely love the color. It's hard to find purple clothing items so thank you for making so many items in many shades of purple. I tried this in electric blue, which is the most gorgeous colour to make your heart sing, Sadly the style wasn't right on me, as I think I am too busty (34F). The fit of the large was good for me (size 14, 5' 7") and the sleeves were slightly longer (perfect length) than on the Rachel. I love the colour and feel of this jacket. The shorter length is just right for my height (5’ 4”) and the material is beautifully soft. I think I’ll get lots of wear out of it this summer as it’s an excellent, stylish extra layer for the warmer months without adding extra weight. It was expensive for an unlined jacket, and I had to have the sleeves shortened, which added to the cost but overall it was a good buy for me and I’m very happy with it.- Marion (10/05/2022)

I loved the colour of this - wonderful intense electric blue. The fit was good for me (size 14) and I thought the sleeves were a perfect length - a bit longer than the Rachel jacket. I purchased the Roxy jacket in Leaf as a replacement for a jean jacket. The soft, but still structured, look works really well for me. And Leaf is a great color for me. I bought XS having tried XS and S last winter, neither of which were a great fit but this season an XS for me, usually size 8, is just perfect. This is my go to jacket and this time I went for the nautical blue in medium. I am a size 12 it fits true to size with room for tops. I matched it with ice lavender to match the blue paisley skirt and the hetta in emerald turquoise. It works with jeans white trousers from last season. I have a number of stripped tops it works with. As others have commented, an investment piece which can be dressed up and worn casually, really looking forward to wearing it in Lanzarote next month with my summer chinos. Blue Spring and purchased Nautical Blue color in a size Small, surprisingly. Each season the KW jackets can come out a little bit larger or smaller - and being a little bit further down the road of life myself, so does my dress size! So between my ever fluctuating weight and being between sizes I decided to go for the Small (my normal size in a good year) just to gauge the sizing. I know the video and style notes say to size up but, even being at the higher range of my weight of 10 lbs over normal, the small fit perfectly. And strangely, the Rachel which I own in a small and fits perfectly, the new one I purchased is too small and so is going back even though that one is supposed to be larger this year. I don't blame KW.. my curves come and go! What I love: 1) The sleeve length! This is my FIFTH Roxy jacket., which should tell you that they are worth every cent. They are perfect for the office, but also had a smart casual edge to weekend outfits. The colors are phenomenal, and the material feels so luxurious. I am between sizes so I size up in order to layer underneath. Love my Nautical Blue Roxy! It is such a rich and lovely color, and like my Carmine Red Roxy, the fabric is soft, luscious and virtually wrinkle proof! I wear it with skirts and trousers, and it’s the perfect length on my 5’3” 114 lb. frame to allow my lovely Kettlewell belts to show through under the open jacket. I wear a Medium in the Roxy, and I am able to button it with one or two thin layers underneath (I wear my boxier Erin fleece jackets over bulkier sweaters.) Now that we are able to travel a bit, this Nautical Blue Roxy will be part of my travel capsule wardrobes, replacing my old denim jacket with this lush and easy-to-wear fabric. This is my 4th Roxy jacket. They are expensive and for me really indulgent. The material is so soft, the colours are lovely and they do not crease. They are ideal for cooler evenings on holiday and look so much nicer than a cardigan. Fab length on a short bodied petite too. I think I've tried the Roxy in the past couple of years but in a Small (my normal size). I couldn't move my arms even though the torso fit was good. So this time I followed the suggestion on the product page. The torso fit is quite loose but the shoulders and chest are a very good fit. I think I am now a Roxy convert (over the Rachel!), and may have the torso taken in for a better fit but I will wear it for a while first. I have now added Electric Blue as my third Roxy. I tried the Rachel, as I love my Dark Navy version, but prefer the more casual look as a great alternative to cardis or jackets. Roxy looks brilliant with dresses. I agree that the cut is a bit more generous this season, but have no problems with that. Moss is gorgeous colour that will be really wearable all year round. Contemplating if I need to size down from L for UK 14 34F. This is my third Roxy in size L and it is both softer and bigger than previous green and coral. The bottom band is about 1 1/2 inches wider, front band 1 cm longer and although sleeve is only 3/4 cm longer, combined with a bigger body and softer fabric I may end up taking the cuff off and reapplying. Normally I appreciate for Kettlewell generous sleeve length. I think M might be on cusp of too snug over sweater. Between fitting more generously and being much softer even on the triple layer parts of the front, it has lost something of the structured crop I loved on 5’2: proportions of my previous Roxie’s. I’ve never needed to wash them so I don’t want to rely in shrinking especially after a soul destroying and expensive experience with sizing on winter 2021 Chloe. I will be keeping it for the beautiful rich colour and texture but it might be my last Roxy- loyal KW customer I am a bit disappointed that this premium product is not reliably sized. If you are between sizes you might want to size down this season and some people may prefer the softness for a less boxy shape.- Katy (07/03/2022)

As others have said " why did I wait so long?" I had my eye on this jacket through a few seasons. I love jean jackets and don't have any since the denim blues don't suit my clear, bright, warm Spring palette. Thank you Kettlewell for producing Roxy's in a beautiful array of colors! The jacket is soft, cosy, rich in color and sporty. It's true to size. If you want to wear a sweater with it, order up. I'm a size 14 Petite and L is the perfect fit. I'm also a soft column and the jacket falls at my hips. I love my Seaspray Roxy so much, I broke down and bought the red coral as well. I usually find that the Spring colors are a bit richer in color than depicted on the website. I love being surprised and wow'ed by the color of Kettlewell products when I remove them from the bag. I went for it - and I'm in love! Have been eyeing this jacket ever since it came out. I was reluctant to spend such a lot on a simple jacket and I wasn't sure it was 'me'. Finally, late to the party again, I sent for two sizes. The M would be a better fit for the size I want to be (!) but considering I will want to layer it, the L makes more sense. It's soft, beautiful, smart yet casual and wonderfully stylish - I feel great in it. Black goes with so much in my wardrobe so it will earn its keep. It's caught the eye of my 8 year old granddaughter, who tried it on in front of a mirror and was gutted that it was too big for her! The one thing I have done is add shoulder pads, because I have narrow shoulders and wide hips, so that balances my pear shape perfectly. I do adore a Roxy so this is a review of the colour: It's a deep luscious intense fabulous - almost glowing- green. It's deep but not dark as it's so intense clear and vibrant. For this JEWEL Winter pine green is a one star rating BUT this alpine green faux suede is so bright and intense it's better than the HOC pine, and worn with my brights ( Fuchsia, Blue Jewel) or Ice colours it's a WOW ! Currently sold out but as a colour I'd recommend it and the RACHEL in this colour is still available! Go for it, you won't regret it. However, that does not matter as the fabric is very soft and hangs beautifully to fit your shape. Wearing this lovely jacket out!! Vibrant colour, gorgeous. I have two of these jackets, one in medium and this one in small. The medium is definitely more roomier and perhaps a bit big across the shoulders, whilst the small is good across the shoulders but very neat to close and the sleeves are possibly a bit on the short side. I'm a slim build, and usually find mediums can be a bit big. Nevertheless these jackets have been brilliant for this summer. I've worn them all the time. They wash well too. This is my fifth Roxy and perhaps my favorite. Hot Coral is a gorgeous rich color. I wore it out today and had compliments from 2 total strangers. Obviously I love the Roxy and I wear it often as a cardi. I am between a M/L and I like the way the M fits perfectly in the shoulders and arms. I wear it unbuttoned and can layer a light sweater under it. I could button it but then its a tight fit across the chest so I prefer it open. This is my first Roxy jacket, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to have more. The fabric is really, really nice! It looks and feels very rich and luxurious, and though it isn't stretchy, it does not feel restrictive. The shape is a bit boxy for me, but I love it anyway. I am broad across the shoulders, have a large chest, wide hips, and a small waist. (I am generally a medium in Kettlewell clothing, but size up in most T-shirts for extra shoulder room and down to a small or extra-small in relaxed fit sleeveless tops for some waist definition.) My second Roxy - I thought the Ginger one would be enough but no, the Ganache called to me and I coudn't resist. I just love these jackets which I am wearing as a mid layer indoors at work - I'm a teacher so am actually AT work not working from home! The Roxy, like the Rachel, is the perfect weight and the faux suede material elevated it into something more special. I bought got this rosy jacket, having bought it in raspberry last year. I love it. I wear it with black top and jeans, black jeans and black and white striped top, and it works the same with navy, grey, green. It will be greT with my dresses in the summer. I just LOVE this jacket! I originally wanted the slate colour but it was out of stock in the size I wanted (usually a KW size small, but I wanted a bit more room across the shoulders) so also order the mole, just out of curiosity really! But I’m so glad I did! The jacket is a great style, casual but quite chic too, lovely fabric which is soft & comfortable to wear, fantastic neutral, ‘go-with-just-about-anything’ colour. I’m a summer (non-specific) & it’s great with the teals, blues, purples, maroons & pinks that I love to wear. I’m 5’8”, size 10, inverted triangle/hourglass. The sleeves are a perfect length, but can easily be folded back for a more relaxed look. The jacket sits just below my hip bones. I have hesitated to purchase Kettlewell jackets because they are considerably shorter than the ones I normally wear, and because seemed rather expensive for unlined jackets. After seeing all the lovely photos posted on the Kettlewell Colour Club, and after reading all the rave reviews, the temptation to experiment with a shorter jacket won out. I am pleased to report that I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Roxy in size Medium. I am 5’3” and 114 lbs, and the jacket is the perfect fit to wear with jeans, trousers or skirts. As a 36C, I am able to easily button my Roxy, although she looks quite fashionable unbuttoned as well. The Carmine Red is rich and deeply saturated, and an ideal complement to my Jewel Winter wardrobe. The fabric is sumptuous, and feels to me like a cross between an ultra suede and a velours. As for the cost, it is easy to see that Roxy will quickly earn her keep! Roxy is a luxurious replacement for the ubiquitous jeans jacket, and she makes me smile and feel well dressed every time I put her on. Bravo Kettlewell!- Karen (09/11/2020)

My third Roxy and its hard to choose a favorite. I wear them nearly every day. The color Ganache is so rich and warm. It complements so many colors. Its amazing with red. I've never felt comfortable in a dark brown until I tried Ganache. I wear it open as a cardigan. If I wanted to button it I would need to size up. 5'3" so the length is just perfect for me. I ummed & ahed about buying the Roxy jacket, mainly because of the price, but also as I wasn’t sure which size & colour to go for! I eventually bit the bullet & ordered it in Slate in a Small & Mole in a Medium. They arrived today - very quick delivery! And I love them - both! I am a a size 10, 5’8”/172cm tall, basic summer palette, & all my other Kettlewell purchases have been Small & fit perfectly. But sadly the Slate Roxy in Small was too tight across my shoulders (I came out as an inverted triangle with a bit of hour glass in the body shape quiz) & I would have struggled to wear anything other than a thin T shirt/top underneath it! Absolutely loved the colour, but sadly the Medium is out of stock so will be returning it. The Mole in Medium is a perfect fit allowing for a light jumper underneath & just much more comfortable to wear. It is a lovely length too coming to just below the top of my usually mid rise trousers. This jacket is a really versatile piece and seems to go with everything I have. I normally wear 8-10 and the size small fits perfectly. I love the fact that it washes up so well and doesn’t need ironing. I’m thinking of buying another one, but can’t decide yet which colour to go for. I was unsure beforehand about the fact that it is made of polyester, as polyester tends to make me sweat, but this jacket really doesn’t. I wasn't sure about this colour as an Autumn- it's sometimes a bit salmon pink and sometimes more orange or is that pinky brick ? Interesting. But I have had lots of compliments so have learned to go with it. It looks wonderful with rich navy and surprisingly good with a lot of browns. And if you have any Zoom meetings, it's stand out. I love these jackets and use them instead of cardigans as they suit my broad shouldered frame much better and look more contemporary. Normally I am a small in most Kettlewell items. I received the small and while it fits perfectly, it would be difficult to put a bulkier shirt underneath. (Am 112 lbs. and 32D). I really didn’t want to like this jacket as it is rather pricey. Of course it arrived and is perfect! I’m a Gamine and it is a super neat fit. The Violet colour is hard to find and as a Spring it is perfect. I’m not going out much at present because of Covid-19 but I’m happy to have this hanging in my wardrobe until I’m out and about again. I have had a few jackets from Kettlewell in the past but I think this will be one of my favourites. I would quite like another! I was in between sizes so I ordered the large in violet. It was a tad too large and the color was more electric than it appeared on my screen. It was beautiful, just not on me. I exchanged in for a medium in mole and I love it, perfect fit and color! The fabric feels wonderful and it will go with everything. I will be watching for more colors to become available in my (summer) season palette. Note: According to the sizing chart, the large was the correct size. If I would have watched the provided video before purchasing, I would have ordered the medium to start with. The model is my size and chose the medium. I bought this after a lot of dithering - and trying every other jacket that Kettlewell has! This style is exactly right for my lifestyle - it's informal, but also smart enough to wear on an evening out. i thought it might be a bit too boxy for my lean column shape, but it sits very well on my frame, and it's flattering. The fabric is beautiful, and the colour much more intense than on the website. It doesn't crease, washes really well, and doesn't need ironing afterwards. There was a problem with colour transfer at first, but I put it through a Rinse cycle and that seems to have resolved the problem. It is expensive, but like other Kettlewell products I've found that you do get very good quality for the price eg. I've just bought the jersey shirt which at £59 seemed very expensive, and the silver metallic belt, another £59, and both of them are very well-made. One small point - the name "Shirt Jacket" makes it sound a bit more casual than it actually is!- Susan (27/08/2020)

This is my second Roxy jacket. I am a soft autumn, petite, princess/natural ingenue, between a 10 and a 12, but I find the medium is a better fit, allowing room underneath for jumpers in cooler weather. It's a good length in the body, sitting at my waistline and a neat fit over the shoulders, which can sometimes be a problem. The mole version is very flattering and versatile, complimenting most of my wardrobe. It's great for throwing on over dresses, striking just the right balance for a modern, casual look. The fabric is very soft and beautifully warm. I've washed my existing jacket in ganache a couple of times and it comes up well. I have wanted this jacket for so long but was hesitant because of the price, but in the end with some birthday vouchers I couldn't resist and ordered it in soft camel M. I felt this colour would be really versatile and go with most things. When it came I felt it was just too big so ordered the S but when that came it was tiny, much shorter in the body and very small on the arms in width and length, I thought this had maybe been sized incorrectly as the difference in size was significant maybe it was an XS. So the small went back but decided to keep the M and although it is a bit big I love it; the material is so soft and comfortable and I just roll the sleeves over at the cuffs to make it neater on the arms. It is really versatile with jeans, the weekend skirts and the Joanna dresses. The soft camel is maybe a bit muted for a bright spring, it's not as light as the website shows, but it's a good neutral colour which will go with everything! Like so many reviewers, I've been pondering this jacket for a while - partly because I was mourning the passing of the Alexa (same fabric, Chloe-like in shape). I thought it might be a bit boxy, but seeing it on on so many women in the Kettlewell Colour Club persuaded me to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did as it's not boxy at all - the gorgeous fabric helps it hang beautifully. I'm 164 cm tall, smallish size 10 hourglass, and the Small was perfect for me: fitted but not tight, and the stretch in the fabric makes it really comfortable. Not cheap, but I think I'll wear it a lot, so I'm sure cost per wear it will be a bargain! Now I want to buy it in other colours - so many rich Autumn shades to choose from!- Helen (12/06/2020)

I was not sure which size to get or whether to choose ginger or ganache. I choose the soft camel as it would complement a dress I bought last year though I wasn't sure if it might be too pale for me as my blond hair is softly going grey - and I am delighted by the colour !! It has a slight sheen which makes it look more expensive and the style is perfect for me. I am a natural classic. The small size gives me the fitted look so it doesn't look boxy. I wanted it to be fitted but I do have very long arms and broad shoulders so I was worried it might be too short on the arms. It is perfect. Like other reviewers I had also been looking at the Roxy jacket for a while but it seemed very expensive. However, when so many lovely colours became available I decided to order one to satisfy myself one way or another. I am normally a size 10 but having read the reviews I ordered a Medium size in Ginger as I did not want it to look too skimpy, being of mature years!. As soon as I tried it on I loved it, it just immediately felt right! The Medium is a near-perfect fit for me; the sleeves are slightly long but I can turn the cuffs back. Although the price seems expensive for polyester fabric, it is very well made. I like this jacket, but not had occasion to wear it yet! I was concerned it would be too short (I’m 5’8” tall) but it’s fine. Had the same concerns with the Chloe jacket, but that’s ok too! Gradually building a selection of jackets, different styles in different colours so I can mix things up! This is my first purchase from Kettlewell and I thought long and hard about this jacket before I decided to order mainly due to the price. I do think it is expensive. However it is fabulous and I know I'm going to wear it a lot and love it every time! The colour is perfect and will match so many items in my wardrobe. Looks great over dresses and with skinny jeans. The fit is good although the sleeves are slightly too long ( I'm 5'2" and a size 10) so will turn the cuffs back. The fabric is light, comfortable and won't crease. Just received my first Roxy Jacket and I am delighted! It is perfect! The fit is very good, just a little big but that suits me fine as I will wear a sweater under it in cooler weather. The fabric has a beautiful soft suede feel and looks quite expensive. The design is perfect - easy, casual, stylish and different. I love that it comes below the waist, I have been put off the Chloe because I think it may be a little short for long-waisted types. Ginger is such a rich, warm colour too. I have just received this jacket in ginger (M) and soft camel (L) and I love it. I am size 12-14, hourglass shape and the M fits perfectly. The jacket is a gorgeous material, so soft and the ginger is a lovely warm colour. The soft camel looks better on the model than me of course but I am returning it as the large is too big. I bought this last year as I had ummed and ahhed about the price for months, but the slate colour was too tempting. The material is not stiff as I had anticipated but is a lovely soft suede type. I bought the medium as I am a 12-14 on top, it just fits. I am quite tall (5'9'') so the bottom sits just below my waist. I tend to do up the two middle buttons to give myself more of a defined silhouette although think this would have been a bit too boxy if I bought larger. This is my first time buying the Roxy Shirt Jacket, I’ve tended to favour the Chloe Jacket instead, but thought I’d try it. Well I wasn’t disappointed with my choice. I am 5ft 5inches, size 16 going down to 14 and I chose L. A perfect fit and a perfect colour having chosen, Grass Green. Wow, To be honest I’ve bought a lot of Kettlewell over the years mainly the Cara V and V Neck Sleeveless and decided to see how many colour combinations I could make out of my existing tops and scarves, well I got at least 50 different combinations before I got bored and had dragged everything out of my wardrobe and had a complete mess of tops on my bed. I am new to Kettlewell but as soon as I saw this jacket I felt I really wanted it, thinking it would be perfect for my life style. I eventually pressed the button and was so impressed with the company’s service and the jacket. Great colour for a grey haired lady, sizing LL enough room, I am between a 14&16 could possibly had a L but happy because I have long arms and length perfect. Comfy you don’t want to take it off , however not worn it much as nowhere to go because of lock down . However I think it will be in my wardrobe to enjoy for a long time . Could never choose which colour i my favourite: soft camel, ginger, ganache, swedish blue or lapis blue and love them all. The shape is a bit boxy but it still looks very smart. I would love a warm red like poppy or true red or even a rusty orange. I haven´t worn my jeans jacket ever since because these are just so much more versatile. They don´t crease, feel very cosy. You can easily dress up or down. I wish I found Kettlewell when the still had this material in the chloe design. The material is so buttery soft and the colours are so beautiful. These little jackets are impossible to resist as they are so good for layering. I have one in blue and I have just bought another one in soft camel. This is not a colour I would ever normally wear, however it is a lovely neutral colour for Springs and goes so beautifully with coral which is one of my best colours, so I am keeping it. I like to wear them very fitted with layers underneath. Surprisingly although I ordered a Medium which is quite small for me as a 12-14, I can still wear it open with a t shirt and fitted jumper underneath. I half expected that it might be to large or boxy but upon trying it on it looks fabulous. Love, love, love the soft camel color! Ordered this because it is one of my Kettlewell favorites and a thought I could use a lighter brown shade for Autumn/Winter. Wasn’t expecting it to be such a lovely color. A perfect Spring neutral for year-round. While I love cardigans, I agree with the reviewer who mentioned these are a nice alternative for a younger look. I love these because they are lightweight yet warm, don’t wrinkle, and look great with everything. In cool weather a wear one almost everyday, whether over a dress, jeans or trousers, or over leggings on my evening walk. I’m very pleased with this jacket. I’m a Petite size 6-8 and the small fits perfectly with room for a sleeved top or jumper underneath.. I was hesitant about the green as another reviewer mentioned it wasn’t vibrant enough for her. I am a slightly toned Spring and it works very well for me and I think the color looks better than represented. I think it’s a very fresh looking green and I like the sheen. I had a small problem with a recent order but the ABSOLUTELY STELLAR Kettlewell customer service went above and beyond my expectations to resolve the issue quickly. I saw this jacket on a friend at a recent gathering. When I tried it on, she nearly didn't get it back! It's surprisingly warm, stylish and lightweight, and the fabric is buttery soft. I'm petite, standing at 5' 0", and usually 10/12 top, but ordered a medium which is a good fit, being the perfect length in body and sleeves, and as it's semi-fitted there's no problem with the waistline falling in the wrong place. I'll be getting a lot of wear out of this, as it's quite trendy and will go with dresses and separates. The colour (ganache) is great too, a soft brown that is practical and flattering on my soft autumn colouring. I am astounded that this jacket fitted me, as my frame is notoriously difficult to find clothes for. (5'8, 30F, size 10 ) I recently purchased this little jacket to wear at a conference and I think it is brilliant -- it is so soft and comfortable, it looked equally great funking up a straight skirt and heels as it did over jeans, and it feels really effortless.I appreciate that the arms have some length. The fabric is very soft, comfortable to wear and non-crease. I wore it for a Spring trip to Spain and it was the perfect jacket for cool evenings and for layering back at home. Although a jewel winter, I chose the Swedish blue rather than the lapis, and got lots of compliments. I’m usually a size 8 but bought small rather than extra small and it’s a perfect fit. As it’s also hand washable, it’s a great little jacket which I’ll wear a lot, making it well worth the money - I’m tempted to buy another in Carmine red!- Kay (08/04/2019)

This is my second purchase of this jacket and I feel the need to update my review of the first in which I commented that the jacket left fuzz on the shirt underneath. This only happened the first time I wore it and not again. I also mentioned that I thought it overpriced for what it is but after awhile I realized how nicely it held up and how often I wore it as it goes with so many things, so I purchased this second one and am equally happy with it. The style is versatile as it can be dressed up or down, is lightweight yet warm, does not wrinkle, is easy to care for, and the color choices are outstanding. I also appreciate the sleeve length as I am tall. I most likely will be purchasing a couple more. This jacket felt lovely and the colour was great. However, I very often have a problem buying jackets as I have wide shoulders and if they fit on the shoulders, they don't fit anywhere else. This is no exception with Kettlewell jackets and although I often buy them to try, I think without exception I've had to send every one back which is such a shame because I otherwise have loads of Kettlewell clothes! It may be because of my wide shoulders that this jacket didn't hang properly and it was also too short in the sleeves for me. I also thought it was expensive for the style of jacket, although if it had fitted right, I would probably have kept it just because of the issue I have with buying jackets generally.- Judith (04/04/2019)

I really wanted to like this jacket. The colour (Greystone) was exactly what I wanted and the fabric was soft and lovely to wear but the fit was completely wrong (I’m Size 14, 5’1”). I ordered Size L which normally works for me but this was way too small around the hips. No possibility of doing it up. It felt more like an M than an L. Great style, snug fit and lovely colour but a shame it’s the only Kettlewell item to date in Swedish Blue as it’s quite a tricky colour to blend with lighter or darker blues, bar navy. It’s very comfy to wear but tends to attract static if worn over other synthetic fabrics, so I’ve found it needs a spray of Static Guard. Very pleased with my purchase of the Roxy Jacket in Greystone. Ordered the large as was not bothered about doing up the buttons as it fitted well on the shoulders and extra large would have been too big. The jacket is a smarter alternative to a fleece or a cardigan and very comfortable. As always my order arrived promptly and well packaged. Have ordered a few items now and love the colours. Wowsers - what a gorgeous jacket . I ordered it because I have always wanted a red jacket in the denim jacket style . I didn’t expect it to feel so nice a cross between velvet and moleskin . Only two things to note - thought it was a little small for the size I am normally between an L and LL but buy LL and this was a little more snug on LL than usual . Also It could be better if it was lined . It’s a jacket that looks good , feels amazing . I will certainly watch the sale to see if any are in my size . I’m a clear spring. I’ve many Kettlewell items and pondered over the cost of the Roxy jacket, as I felt it was rather expensive. However, I took the plunge and absolutely love the Roxy in lapis blue. I’ve given away my denim jackets, as the Roxy suits me so much more as a spring...fabulous soft fabric, which hangs well. Can wear as a fairly smart or casual look. I’ve had several compliments and I’m about to purchase the grass green. I think the Roxy is worth the investment as there is nothing like this in the shops. Would love this jacket in a spring red with gold buttons please and aim to purchase the other spring Roxy jackets. So useful indoors too, instead of wearing a boloro or cardi, which I don’t suit. Gorgeous jacket. The fabric is so soft and the colour vibrant. It fits me well; the buttons close and the sleeves are wrist length. It's possible that the buttons are slightly heavy for the fabric as they pull the fabric down slightly when I'm wearing the jacket open. All Jackets swamp me, but not this - Yay! So pleased to find a fit that fits. XS fits and after a few wears has relaxed enough to fit when buttened too. Fabric is thin and soft enough for indoor wear, yet despite its thinness is warm. The sleeves are fractionally long for me, but a lot less so than most jackets, and not so long that I have to take them up - another plus for me. It is far too expensive for what it is. An unlined denim style jacket. I wish is was cheaper and I would have bought 2 or 3! On a quality control note - One of the buttons is very very tight to do up- Hennamay (16/11/2018)

I took a long while before making the decision to buy this because it is expensive. I was worried that it might be too long as I am only 5'3". As it turns out, it's not quite as cropped on me as on the model but it's still a cropped jacket as the length gets shorter with the smaller sizes and I ordered the XS. I wanted the jacket as an alternative to a cardigan - to wear indoors. At 65, cardigans basically make me look... well, 65! This is a much better, younger alternative and I am very pleased with the look. It looks good with a roll neck top underneath. I was also a bit worried that it might look like I was wearing an outdoor jacket indoors as it was described as a faux suede jacket. I needn't have worried. This is nothing like suede. It is quite thin. Other people my age will recall loose chair covers of a similar fabric to this, I think we called it velour. Don't get me wrong, I do like it, I think it's fab! Just not suede... I have to agree with other reviewers, however, that it is a bit over-priced for what it is. But I do understand that what we are paying for is the ability of Kettlewell to stock garments like this in a range of sizes in umpteen different colours, which you won't get anywhere else. It is well made. But it's a shame it isn't a bit less expensive, as I would love to be able to afford at least one more in another colour. The blackberry colour is rich and vibrant. I love it. As stated in the description, it is sized quite snugly, I got the extra small because I generally take a size 6 and I was surprised to find how small it was. I generally find that things swamp me. I could probably have bought the Small and it wouldn't have looked wrong. Sizing up is definitely a good idea unless you're a rake like me.- Janice (13/11/2018)

I am a size 12 and purchased a medium and the fit is good. However as someone else mentioned regarding the Alexa jacket, this jacket deposits colored fibers on the shirt beneath. I am a warm spring and I purchased the Roxy Jacket in Swedish Blue. Great colour for autumn for a Spring as is lovely and bright with enough richness for our colouring that looks right for the cooler months. So far I have found it looks good with ivory, pale shell pink or a pale champayne/apricot top underneath, and with my regular blue jean's, light grey skirt or pebble grey jeans. I am a 10-12 top and bought S, as I will wear it in Spring and Autumn in NZ and just want a light top under and don't want it done up. Just right. The Roxy Shirt Jacket in ganache is a winner for me. I am usually a size 8 (Aus and UK) with a 34B bust and 26.5 waist and wavered between buying the XS and S. Finally decided on the S because I wanted to button it up every now and again. It fits very well. The shoulder line is slightly extended beyond my own and there is enough room to wear a thin sweater and to button up, but it is still very fitted with a slight curve to the body. The sleeve length is not overly generous, with the cuff just on my wrist bone (and I do not have long arms). However, it is not so short as to look odd. The material feels a little thicker than the Alexa jacket and reasonably warm for an unlined piece. And ladies there are TWO inside pockets! Yes two, and big enough to carry a mobile phone! Huzzah and thank you to the designer! The ganache colour is great for autumn/warm ladies. I am considering buying the ginger in XS as a fitted-to-my-body cropped jacket to wear over camis with the knowledge that I may not be able to button it. However, I love the style- feminine with a hint of rockchic--and want to go ultra fitted! Did I mention there are two inside pockets :D- Alison Goodman (06/10/2018)

I love this jacket, the rich brown colour is very warm and perfect for my Autumn colouring. The jacket is quite lightweight so not ideal if you want to keep warm. Looks great with the dress I also purchased in ecru, also good with jeans so very versatile. I bought the large as I am a 14 on the top half and I like the comfortable not tight fit. A great cropped jacket - a stylish alternative to a cardigan, with a heavier weight than the Alexa. I'm a 10/12 and the medium fits me perfectly - open or done up. It has just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable. The colours are great too as always. I got Swedish blue, which is gorgeous! As an Autumn, my colours are warm, rich, vibrant and earthy, and my shape is straight rather than curved. I bought the Roxy jacket in Ganache. I love the rich, warm colour, the boxy shape, the straight lines on lapels and hem. It’s the item I would have designed if I were a designer. As a size 10/12 I ordered a medium which is plenty large on the shoulders but snug on the hips when buttoned up. At first glance it appears to go with everything in my wardrobe and I’m looking forward to wearing it with different combinations. Absolutely love this Jacket and have received lots of compliments on the colour. I ended up swapping from a small to a medium. The small was a perfect fit on the shoulders and arm length, but I couldn't fasten it up (I am petite so you need to be quite skinny I think to fasten) I was debating whether that was important or not. In the end I settled with the medium, it is a little longer on the sleeve, but it looks quite trendy with the cuffs rolled back anyway. I am definitely going to buy another.- Sharon (16/09/2018)

Both looked great but I kept the S because I wanted a more fitted look. (I can't button it up though - if this had been important I would have kept the M instead, which buttoned nicely!) I really wanted to love this jacket and ordered medium and large as description said close fitting. I am size 12 and measure 92 71 97 cm so hoped a medium would fit but like almost every Kettlewell item I’ve tried with the exception of sleeveless tops it is too tight on the shoulders - I’m quite broad. The medium was too roomy in the body for me and the large was great on the shoulders but swamped the rest of me. This is a neat little jacket, casual looking but more substantial than the Alexa because of the double layer. It's also a bit longer. I purchased it in Blackberry and it looks great with last year's Blackberry maxi skirt (more please...!) Looking forward trying it out this autumn.
