Was so disappointed with this one. Bought the Darcey Boat back in 2018 and it fitted like a glove (over the bust, in at the waist, flat across the stomach and neatly fitted round the hips) so was very excited when I thought it was back! This one was, for me, completely shapeless, going out at the bust and then falling dead straight all the way down. Comparing the two laid across each other revealed that this one was considerably bigger all round - a plea to Kettlewell; it would be helpful if an accurate idea of the fit was provided; this is a definite baggy/loose with no bust/waist/hips adjustment (literally the same all the way down, I measured it across). And an extra big please; could we have the gorgeous Darcey Boat (same fit in every way) back for the pencil shaped among us; I only bought one of these (sad face) and it’s my favourite all time Kettlewell top! read more »

Ordered the Hyacinth in LL. The colour is exquisite, but the fabric very thin, does not hang nicely and was baggy around the neck. Please can we have some continuity in sizing? I am ranging from a L to LL to XL. read more »

I love the neckline and fabric of this top, but the fit was very baggy on me. Luckily, I have a very talented seamstress who shortened the length of the sleeves and tapered the sides to a fitted silhouette! She commented that the fabric was beautiful, which made me glad to spend the extra money to have the top altered. I love how it can be worn with jeans or dressed up with a skirt and smart jacket; it's very versatile. read more »
