I was prepared to send this dress back in two hot seconds. This year, the deeper end of the winter palette is out in full force for summer dresses. I pulled the dress out of the green bag and was immediately surprised. I remained skeptical, though, because I still needed a try-on. I tried on the dress and found, to my delight, that the cassis did not overwhelm me completely. I have to tone it down with either a pink ice infinity or pink ice short cascade, but this dress works. I'd love more mid-range to light-range Winter colors in this dress. I'm utterly grateful for the balancing act that the white plays here. If not for the white, it would be heading home to KW. The fit is good; I am a size US 8, wear KW medium, and bought KW medium. I'm 5'6," and the hem length is suitable for the construction, and very wearable for summer. This dress just arrived, at first I thought the pattern was a bit much but after trying on it was such a lovely fit I’m keeping it, please Kettlewell more winter colours in this style- Wendy (22/04/2024)
