Given the "relaxed" description I ordered both S and M as I prefer a blouse to fit. The M is very roomy. I preferred the somewhat closer fit of the S but it was too tight across the shoulders and sleeves were too short for me. I kept the M. There is a lot to recommend it: It drapes nicely and the colors are very flattering; I appreciate the original print, a refreshing reprieve from yet another floral; and although long sleeved it is nevertheless very comfortable in summer weather, particularly air-conditioned interiors, so I have already worn it quite a bit (looks great with white denim). My only real disappointment is that I observe a slight abrading of the fabric, which causes it to appear a tiny bit dull now. I hesitate to wash it for fear of worsening the effect. I am all in favor of environmentally friendly fabrics but if they don't last more than a few months then they are not environmentally friendly. The true test will be whether I am still wearing this blouse a year from now. I hope so. Bottom line = glad I got this at the sale price. read more »

I love three out of the four colourways on these items, so ordered two shirts and the dress to see what the colours were like. Of the three only the small size Georgie shirt fitted me. I am usually a medium but the medium in Neon Apple Georgette was far too big. Luckily, I preferred the softer colours of the Georgie anyway. I ordered the Claire dress in Cosmos Georgette in medium and the top was far too small, with the skirt being baggy and shapeless, although I did love the colours. In short, there is a real problem with the sizing in these products but I love the colours and the soft material. read more »

Spotted this in the original catalogue, but decided I didn't really need another shirt. But with a the discount, I couldn't really say No, now could I?! I wear it as a jacket, as that suits my styling better, but would be good as a work shirt or as part of a smart casual outfit. It's lightweight, so ideal for holidays. Sleeves are always too long on me, and these are too, so cuffs get turned up, but I will add a button on the wrist placket as it's a long wrist opening to the cuff, which consequently doesn't stay up due to the softness of the fabric! Not yet laundered so can't comment on that. Beautiful vibrant colours for a blue spring in a fab geometric pattern. Mindful of previous comments on size (am usually 12/14) I ordered both small and medium, and opted for the former. Happy purchase! read more »

Well, I also tried this shirt after seeing Jo’s live. I have started to wear shirts as a lightweight outer layer recently. I love the colors in the spring color way. Unfortunately, it will be returned. The sizing is a bit off. I ordered down after giving it much thought. I usually wear an L but ordered an M. The fit in length and width is perfect however, the shoulder seams hang below my shoulders and the upper arms are snug. I do have heavy upper arms so I’m not surprised but the shoulders should not fall awkwardly below my shoulders. Sizing up will not remedy this. I’m disappointed but I can see why it went on sale so early in the season. read more »
