Styling this season's prints - for Springs

The Spring palette is clear, light, warm and bright, and although it can feel tricky to style as the weather cools down, prints are a brilliant way to keep cosy without sacrificing the contrast and brightness that works so well for you. Combine your best colours in prints, while layering and adding texture for warmth, and your Spring palette will see you through autumn/winter with your clear colouring well and truly intact!

Style notes

The power of a print accessory should never be forgotten - it lifts and adds interest to this otherwise fairly straightforward 'neutral-with-a-colour-pop' outfit. The statement belt makes a simple outfit feel pulled together and sophisticated rather than plain.

Style notes

This print provides its very own colour pop in the Watermelon/red flowers, but I love picking out the colour details through the leather bag. The Pale Peach Faux Fur Gilet keeps things cosy and also keeps the whole thing 100% light and bright for your Spring colouring.

Style notes

I love how this dress does all the talking, but equally for your gorgeously vibrant palette, you can make it even more statement and stylish with the addition of a vibrant Watermelon Long Cascade Wrap - the splash of colour stops the print drifting into feeling like it belongs to Autumn. If you want a colour splash without the layers, opt for a Cashmere Gauze Stole or Faux Fur Collar.

One last thing

Because we have so many prints this season (hurrah!), it's simply impossible for me to show you every styling option for every print for each season, so I've shown a selection of three here, with another three options in your 'partner' bright and clear palette, Winter - including our gorgeous new check print Millie skirt. So if you want even more colour inspiration, which just needs a little translation to work for your warm, bright seasonal palette, head over to the Winter blog post for more styling tips and ideas.
