Very nice dress and fits well; too long on the arms but I expected that as I'm not very tall; the overall length was fine. I dithered for ages so was very pleased when it was reduced in the sale. Bought two colours, both lovely.- Mrs Richardson (21/02/2024)
SIZE: Small COLOUR: Tropical Teal
A lovely dress, the colour (Tropical Teal) is bright enough, I was concerned that it would be a bit dull. The fit is excellent. I bought a small, as I have found that sizes often come up rather bigger than I find comfortable, and I find the fit perfect. I am so pleased that the sleeves are long enough. I can see that this will be a neutral for me, to go with lots of lovely Spring colours. I bought it in the sale after dithering for weeks. My main hesitation was because it is viscose/polyamide, and I much prefer cotton. This is an example of a 'basic' in a dress, that Kettlewell does so well. I have yet to try riding my bicycle in it, but I think it will be ok!- Catherine (09/02/2024)

This dress is quite lovely and well-made. I love the slight flare at the end of the sleeves. The weight of the fabric is just right, not too thin and not too heavy. I plan to wear a belt around the waist, sure wish the belt shown with the dress was still available.- Susan (24/01/2024)

I've been looking at this dress for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. The colour is beautiful and the fabric is lovely. My bust and hips are roughly the same size so this style means that the hips are fine but the bust is too snug. To size up would simply make the hips too big. In retrospect suspecting this problem was probably the reason for my hesitation. Sadly returned.- Barbara (11/01/2024)

Lovely dress! At 5’4” and with ‘petite’ proportions, I did wonder if it would be too long, but it looks elegant with both heels or boots. The fabric drapes well and for someone who prefers a more tailored, fitted look, I was pleased with the set-in shoulders and attractive cuffs. This is a simple style that can be dressed up or, with the right accessories, look more casual. I wear it with a soft, wide, black leather belt, which gives additional waist definition. I’m not normally a dressy person, but liked the simple lines of this dress so gave it a go. Im usually between small and medium, and opted for small in this as I’m quite narrow across my shoulders and like a fitted look. Possibly my tummy area would have benefitted from medium, but hopefully after the Christmas bulge has gone, it will sit a bit smoother. I’m 5’4” and it’s about ankle length. The material is lovely and cosy and hangs beautifully. After Jo’s live, I will also try with a jumper over for a less formal look.- Lynne (08/01/2024)

I usually only wear dresses in the summer (can’t stand tights!) but had to make an exception for this new version. The style and details are simple, elegant and unfussy. The jersey fabric is the perfect weight. I’m 5’6” but still had to shorten it by 5” as I don’t think a maxi length is practical in winter weather and just looks a bit odd under a coat. Usual size S is a bit big on the hips, but will do as I intend wearing a silky roll neck underneath on cold days.- Toots (21/11/2023)

Really wanted to like this dress, however, although I did like the top half of the dress and thought the sleeves were a good length and the cuff detail attractive I didn’t like the way the skirt hung as the fabric had little movement. It was also too long and I didn’t like the dress enough to shorten it so returned.- Sally (20/11/2023)

I’m 168 cm, pear shaped, size 16 tops, 18 bottoms, sausage arms. . Bought size LL. The description of the dress says regular fit. I found the dress to be a bit too tight. Fabric was a bit stiff to my liking. Returned it because the dress was just ok. A bit too plain for me for that price.while I like minimalism style clothing, this just did nothing for me. I’m a summer, middle of the road sort, & dress in quite a relaxed way as that’s what my life is! However, every so often I like to look a bit neater. I was attracted by the simple unfussy shape of the Naomi dress, but thought, no not for me……until I visited the Colour Studio & tried the dress in tropical teal as a friend had asked me to check out the colour for her. And I was immediately smitten! I’m a slim size 10, S in Kettlewell, & my usual size fitted perfectly! Length is also good - a longer midi length, I’d say. The tropical teal was a lovely colour, but not really one I wear in the cooler autumn/winter months. So I tried the Italian plum….and the rest, as they say, is history! What I especially like is that I can ‘casualise’ it quite easily & feel very relaxed in it. A cardigan, my Roxy jackets, jumpers, scarves etc. Very pleased with my one & only winter dress!- Marieke (06/11/2023)

I love the long flared sleeve, and the fabric is of a beautiful heavy quality. The dress is also a lovely length and would be fab with long boots. However, the overall style of the dress didn’t suit me, sadly, so it’s going back.- Claire (26/09/2023)
