SIZE: Large COLOUR: Moonstone
I love this sweater! Gorgeous colour—it will go with just about anything. I’m sensitive to wool, and finding cotton sweaters that are cosy and stylish is not easy. This one is both. I’m not sure I needed a Large. It seems a bit generous, but perhaps a Medium would be too small. Here’s where it would help to be able to try on before buying. Update to previous review: Having worn this cardi a few times I've noted the following: * it's a bit on the bulky/heavy side with sleeves that are - for me - much too long. Folding them back adds bulk. * It tends to snag on things easily - earrings, zips, whatever - because of the loose-ish knit. So regretfully I don't think I'd buy another, though it looks amazing. Maybe sizing could be a factor in the arm length - I am an L and sized down to a M but perhaps even an S might have been OK. I didn't try because M looked perfect when I tried it on.- hedgecrone (05/05/2024)

The Uma Cardigan is very cute and stylish. It’s the cardigan for those who don’t want the standard classic cardigan. I bought it for my sister who is very particular and she loved it! The moonstone color was great on her; she is some kind of autumn. If only they had not run out of XS in the moonstone! The S we were only able to get was just a big too big.- Peggy (01/05/2024)

Love this style of cardigan and though it's cotton it keeps you warm. Wore it to a gig a few weeks ago and felt it fitted in well. Think also it would go well over shorts in the summer when I need a bit of warmth. It comes up big so size down.- Latha (29/04/2024)

I am so pleased with this cardigan. I ordered it in the orange ochre and the colour is gorgeous. As with other reviewers I sized down to a small and the fit is perfect. I love that the fabric feels thick and textured and I know I will wear it loads all year round. SIZE: Small COLOUR: Sea Breeze
Just love this Uma cardigan. The sea breeze colour feels right for the season. It's a great weight and style too. I bought a small size as it's a relaxed fit which is perfect. To date I have worn it with 3/4 sleeved tops and tees underneath in sunny Spring weather. At the moment I can't find a scarf that works well with it colour wise and believe me I have an ample collection. Will continue to keep my eyes open for any new KW affinity or willow scarves that might work with Sea Breeze. Loved it so much I went to buy another in Moonstone but sadly out of stock.- Karen (21/04/2024)

I love this cardigan. I ordered with uncertainty, not sure if the knit would appear too loose and the color too bland. I am pleased to report that the knit is satisfyingly soft and thick, and feels high quality. The color Moonstone is a beautiful shade for cool tones. I'd say it is more beautiful in person than it shows up online.I live in a climate where I need a layer in hand nearly year-round, and I already know this sweater will get a lot of use, It's also the perfect length for me to wear it with skirts and my med/high waisted jeans and pants. I am a M in most Kettlewell, and sized down in a S for this, which is perfect. If you want more slouch and room, take your regular size.- MD (19/04/2024)

Oh how I love the Uma cardigan, it was love at first sight online at the sneak peak, and as soon as I opened the parcel it reminded me of one of my Dads cardigans - this is actually a wonderful compliment as the Uma gives me that cosy, homely happy memories feeling every time I wear it. As a petite 5’2” size 14 I ordered a large in moonstone. The colour was beautiful, but the cardigan overwhelmed me.The sleeves being 4” too long. After reading the reviews I ordered a medium in sea breeze. Colour beautiful and looks lovely with black and navy. Most importantly it fits. The sleeves are just right and does not feel too tight in sizing down. Length perfect on my petite frame.- Patricia (14/04/2024)

Loving this pure cotton cardigan in silver grey. Sized down as oversize in design and I prefer more fitted. Washed in machine on cool 30 deg. and it shrunk by approx 1/2 inch in length but still ok as design is short in body. Please Kettlewell sell more pure cotton cardigans for summer and winter for us with allergies to wool and plastic acrylic and polyester blends. A cotton twin set would be perfect.- Anne (10/04/2024)

Lovely colour, I would like a matching Hetta tea shirt but there is nothing in this colour which is a shame. The cardi is just the right length not too short but not too long so that it cuts across my stomach, this comes slightly above which is good. I am 5’6”” I have not washed it yet.- NINA (05/04/2024)

When I saw this cardigan previewed in the pre season “sneak peak” I knew it was one to try. And I wasn’t disappointed! I’m a summer with a casual style of dressing, a slim size 10, 5’7” tall, & the moonstone in my normal size small is perfect! Someone with a different clothing personality might want to size down for a neater fit? The knit is chunky but still quite a soft, fluid fabric, not stiff at all. And the moonstone colour is a brilliant light neutral especially as we head into the summer months & goes with so much in my summer wardrobe. So pleased!- Marieke (27/03/2024)

Oh wow. I love this stylish cardigan! I walked at the price initially but the shape, texture and colour are so flattering and unusual. I am currently a size L in tops but the L cardigan swamped me. Size M was perfect: neater and beautifully shaped. I can't wait to wear it and I heartily wish it came in more deep, saturated bright winter colours: Cosmo purple, Pine and Sapphire, please! Lovely jumper but much too short for my 5ft 9inch frame and too loose around the hips (I take a LL to accommodate a large bust). I loved the sleeves which fitted well but I would like this to be at least 3 inches longer and less baggy around the hips and waist.- Liz (18/03/2024)

Oh my goodness! I love this sweater! Chunk knit in cream - perfection! I may need another color. I can also see this in a longer version. I have this in Medium but may try a Large as I love chunky oversized sweaters. I suspect, however, that a Large might not stay on me with the deep V-neck.- Carrie (16/03/2024)

Ordered cream and denim blue for a light spring. 5 ft 3 in, 120 lbs. Very happy with them, comfortable and these can be worn through all of the seasons, which is such a plus. The loose knit/ balloon sleeve combo makes it easy to snag your sleeve on zippers so be cautious.- Vanessa (15/03/2024)

Amazing quality. Deep V neck and quality buttons. Extra button and thread. Fits true to size. I tried both medium and large (am size 12/14) to see the different looks. A great cardigan for spring and summer evenings. Think casual but very smart. As a blue spring I chose the moonstone - a beautiful colour with my blues and greens.- Ann (07/03/2024)

My moonstone Uma has its first outing today and I am seriously in love with everything about this cardi. The lovely soft chunky knit and fabulous colour. Firstly, a big thank you to Kettlewell Colours for listening to all of us who cannot wear wool! The moment I saw the Uma Cardigan in the sneak peak, I knew I would love it. It is a gorgeous quality chunky knit. As a petite Size 10, I like clothes to be fitted so I opted for the Extra Small and it is a perfect fit and length. I love the balloon sleeves - they are not over the top. I am a Spring and the Denim Blue colour is truly lovely. Looking forward to getting the Moonstone colour next!- Sandra (04/03/2024)

For reference I’m 5’3”, 131 lbs and 34c and have bought a small (I take small or medium in Kettlewell clothes).
