SIZE: Large COLOUR: Crimson leaf
I have just received the Fia skirt in Crimson Leaf in size L. The pattern and colourway are absolutely gorgeous but I have to agree with other reviewers that the elastic in the waist is far too restrictive which is a shame. I actually only need a size M but ordered it in size L hoping to avoid this problem. I have kept the skirt but please Kettlewell could we please have a softer elastic in your skirts.- Tricia (13/07/2024)

Bought this is M and L but had to keep the L as the waistband is extremely firm and tight compared to other KW skirts….feels more comfortable when folded over.I do not normally wear maxi skirts and have not worn it yet.I bought it to take on a cruise in .December as will go with lots of different coloured tees and wraps.The fabric feels lovely to the touch and nice and light for wearing in a hot climate.- Rosemary (09/07/2024)

I rarely wear skirts as they don’t often suit me as I am only 5’1” and short waisted. However I really liked the look of the Fia so decided to try it. I am usually a small in Kettlewell but it was a quite tight around my waist so I went for the medium. I had to turn over the waistband to shorten it a bit but this didn’t add any bulk and isn’t a problem as I don’t usually tuck tops in. The material and colour way is gorgeous, it’s very comfortable and swishy. It’s perfect!- Karen (08/07/2024)

Absolutely stunning skirt! So flowy, made with a light and breezy material. The autumn colorway is a perfect addition to my wardrobe and fits with all my clothes. Even though it's a long skirt, because of the fabric, I have no problem to wear it during hot summer days.- Sophie (07/07/2024)

Such a pretty skirt, good length and goes beautifully with fuschia, navy, raspberry and grey and damson. A great addition to my wardrobe, and an excellent base for a holiday capsule wardrobe. Looks good as a dress with the matching top. Excellent price in the sale.- Cardine (04/07/2024)

Being heavily discounted, I thought I would try this top and skirt in Chestnut Leaf as a HOC Leaf Autumn and a Natural Classic in style, and then a softer more Romantic floaty style for the summer. I already have one simlar outfit in light olive and cream, which is great. Sadly the print of this was just far too busy and too big in scale, even at 5ft 8ins and a Size 14. Seems retro floral just doesn't suit me. The colour combinations were just not right either. The warm pink background just did nothing for me in that quantity. So unfortunately has had to go back. But a great bargain and outfit for someone more Romantic and Dramatic, and going to a wedding perhaps! 5 stars all round. By the way S fitted me well rather than usual M, and looked more stream-lined in shape with less excess material.- Una (30/05/2024)

Golden Spring, 5'6, Classic Ingenue. I loved the Fia skirt in Aqua Leaf from the minute I saw it, however, I had just purchased the Athena in Papaya Bud and the colours were similar so I didn't purchase it. I couldn't resist in the sale though. It is absolutely beautiful! Light and floaty and gorgeous juicy colours! I bought my usual size S. The waistband is fine on me but is not very stretchy so if you are between sizes I would size up. It's a maxi on me, I wear skirts under my tummy button. The material of this skirt is quite delicious! Just feel so lovely and soft. Great colours, great pattern, great everything except for the vicious waistband which is way too tight. I am a size 14 but got a size L and an LL as I hate a tight waist. I have kept the LL in the hope that I can find someone who can do something with the waistband to make it possible to wear without getting a stomach ache - yes it's really that bad.- Susannah (16/05/2024)

Beautiful skirt! I am about a 4 in skirts in the US and a M in Kettlewell skirts. I purchased a S in this skirt. It’s a little close when pulling it on, but the right size once on, because it’s pretty full. A Medium would have been voluminous on me. I’m 5 ft tall and this is a full maxi on me but didn’t require hemming. The autumn colorway, Chestnut Leaf, goes with so many of my autumn tops. It looks more orange than brown fyi. Wasn’t 100% sure this would work for me, but it’s a lovely skirt, looked amazing with a silver ice top and fushia jacket and I got loads of compliments. It’s actually an all year round skirt, have worn with a jumper too. Love it!- Catherine (11/03/2024)

I loved the summer version of this skirt, in Aquarius and Periwinkle. So I had high hopes for this one. The name Aqua Leaf is misleading in my opinion. There is very little blue of any kind - it is mainly red and pink ( though now I can see from the pictures !) I did not even try on - too much red for me.- Anne (02/02/2024)

I love this winter colour way and easily wear it as a summer. So versatile - looks great with raspberry Chloe, silver Darcy, and many many of my Kettlewell tops! Ideal for travelling as so light. Gorgeous fluid fabric. It is thin but I’ve worn it with thick tights, slip and boots with chunky knit at top and it looks fab I chose LL to avoid cloning over tummy and I’m happy with it- Jan (14/12/2023)

I needed an outfit for a summer wedding, I noticed the display in the catalogue for an ensemble, and decided to try those outfits (dresses dont suit me because I an short waisted). The whole outfit did not suit, I kept the skirt and ordered the crossover top in the same colour as the display and teamed it with the skirt, and voila, it was perfect.
