Your staycation wardrobe - Princess
Princesses are feminine, above all else. They love a bit of sparkle or detail in their clothes, and often favour neater styles with a feminine touch. They dislike clothes that feel scruffy or bulky, or anything too androgynous and plain.
For each style personality, I've challenged myself to create a wardrobe update of only ten items, plus one key accessory. In order to keep a balanced wardrobe, I've stuck to a rule of four tops, two bottoms, two 'top layers' (jackets, wraps etc) and two 'essential extras' (whatever it feels like this style personality needs adding the most!). I've also demonstrated the capsule wardrobe with one season, but each can be translated to any of the four seasonal palettes.
The pieces I've chosen will see you through a staycation summer and beyond, becoming infinitely mix-and-match cornerstones of your wardrobe.
A Spring Princess Capsule Wardrobe
Style notes: Opt for fresh, youthful, summery shades, whatever your seasonal palette, to honour the light, feminine feel of your personal style. Plenty of pretty shades, from your version of pink to vibrant yellow or purple, adds a playful touch to your summertime wardrobe. Skirts with a bit of swish add femininity without becoming impractical, and neat fitted tops create a neat hourglass silhouette.
