Your staycation wardrobe - Movie Star
Movie stars embody luxury and glamour, and generally love an excuse to get dressed up and dazzle! Your Movie Star style is feminine and curve enhancing, and you probably dislike being underdressed or scruffy, or wearing clothes that feel too sensible and boring.
For each style personality, I've challenged myself to create a wardrobe update of only ten items, plus one key accessory. In order to keep a balanced wardrobe, I've stuck to a rule of four tops, two bottoms, two 'top layers' (jackets, wraps etc) and two 'essential extras' (whatever it feels like this style personality needs adding the most!). I've also demonstrated the capsule wardrobe with one season, but each can be translated to any of the four seasonal palettes.
The pieces I've chosen will see you through a staycation summer and beyond, becoming infinitely mix-and-match cornerstones of your wardrobe.
A Summer Movie Star Capsule Wardrobe
Style notes: Whatever your season, opt for the most opulent, bold and beautiful shades in your palette to create your Summer Holiday wardrobe. Add a dash or two of light colours to ensure your colours don't feel too heavy for summer wear. Culottes can be a brilliant alternative to skirts for you, giving all your Movie Star swish without sacrificing comfort or practicality, while draped cowl necks and open romantic feeling v necks are generally your best necklines.
