Your staycation wardrobe - Adventurer
Adventurers have a relaxed, outdoorsy style, with a laid back finish and often a love of texture and layers. They rarely wear clothes that are terribly skintight or revealing, and dislike overly formal or girly styles.
For each style personality, I've challenged myself to create a wardrobe update of only ten items, plus one key accessory. In order to keep a balanced wardrobe, I've stuck to a rule of four tops, two bottoms, two 'top layers' (jackets, wraps etc) and two 'essential extras' (whatever it feels like this style personality needs adding the most!). I've also demonstrated the capsule wardrobe with one season, but each can be translated to any of the four seasonal palettes.
The pieces I've chosen will see you through a staycation summer and beyond, becoming infinitely mix-and-match cornerstones of your wardrobe.
Style notes: Whatever your season, start with the most natural shades in your palette (yes, even you Winters - Mole, Emerald and Burgundy work well), and add texture and drape to enhance your adventurer style. Light neutrals keep things fresh, but avoid going too stark with your contrast - your version of Light Grey or Light Camel might be better than Cream or White. Shapes are longline and have movement, rather than being tailored and too 'fixed' in place.
