Know your neutrals - for Summers

Your season abounds with neutrals. Indeed, the challenge for Summers can often be to bring in your accent colours rather than spending time and energy on neutrals. It's incredibly easy to get stuck in a rut of navy and grey, rather than pairing your beautiful neutrals with the rest of your palette, or experimenting with some of your more unusual neutrals, from Mushroom and Flint to Deep Ocean and Marine Navy.
Here are some of your best neutrals, to see more, Shop by Colour for Summers
Your neutrals fall into a couple of colour groups. At the cooler end of the palette are what we think of as the traditional Summer neutrals - variations on the theme of navy blue and blue-grey, as well as charcoal grey (these neutrals are perfect for True/Sweetpea and Deep/Cool/Dark Summers) - while at the less cool end sit the Summer browns and teals (ideal for Light/Pastel/Cotton Wool Ball and Soft/Brown Summers). Of course, any Summer can wear any colour from their palette. No matter where you fall within your palette, every colour within it will harmonise with your skintone, and the effect of any neutral can be transformed into a wow colour by pairing it with your best colours.
To give you the confidence to get going with your neutrals, we've put together three outfits which play with your neutrals in different ways - neutrals with a colour pop, neutrals as part of colour blocking, and a neutral anchor to a more colourful look.
