When colours clash with style - Winters

Raspberry Betty Cowl and Electric Fiesta Print Culottes

As a Winter, bold, fashion forward and classic chic combinations are easy for you. Sleek, stylish and formal look are all effortless. But if you prefer something a little more relaxed or feminine, whether it's Adventurer or Princess (check out our style quiz if you want to learn more about our different style personalities), the Winter palette can feel a little more challenging.

But we're here to show you that it can be done, and without leaving your Winter palette or compromising your cool, clear colouring.

Style notes: The soft, delicate look of a Princess can feel tricky with Winter's palette as a starting point, but actually is perfectly possible. Look for the most feminine colours - the ice colours are a brilliant starting point. Opt for Navy rather than Black, and enjoy playing around with the 'soft' (relatively speaking!) pinks in your palette like Cerise and Shocking Pink.

Adventurer

Style notes: Now is the time to discover some of those less-obvious Winter colours like Mole, Stone and Pine Green. Base your outfit around these, adding ice shades or White for the contrast that brings you to life, rather than feeling that life has to be 100% Electric Blue and Fuchsia.

Pixie

Style notes: While the Winter palette can feel quite 'heavy' for the fun Pixie look, it's actually simple a question of finding contrast and unexpected combinations. Pair Emerald with Fuchsia and Black, Aquarius with Raspberry and Acid Yellow, and don't forget quirky accessories and details to finish off your look.
