Reply from Kettlewell - A note from our supplier: Tarnishing is increased when it comes into contact with certain things - perfume, sun cream, fake tan, even the acidity of someones skin! Often mass produced silver comes with an anti tarnish coating or is rhodium plated (when made in China) and this stops it from happening for a while. The customer should remove it when showering, sleeping and swimming and keep it in an air tight zip lock bag. Cleaning it with silver dip should bring it back to new.

Yes I like this and I have kept it. I think it will layer very well with a longer necklace. I am a spring and the gold star is large enough to stand out quite well. I wanted the starburst necklace in gold too but unfortunately it has sold out. read more »
