Lovely fabric and feel and colour, bright navy. I am a size 12 and ordered medium to wear with the Danni culottes in the same colour but this was much to large and baggy tucked in, so I returned. Probably should have ordered a size 10 but think this was the wrong style with the culottes.

I usually wear a size M in Kettlewell tops without stretch but this is so big I could easily wear a size S. However, the real problem for me is the colour in this fabric. I have this colour in a Cara V which is lovely but I did not like it at all in the linen.

Lovely grey sky - soft colour. Easy to wear style ideal in heat (abroad?) I sized down to L and it’s fine on my broad shoulders I think it’s pricey - I’ve paid to get the colour.

My first Venus linen top. But second top in this fabric, which I love. A particularly great fabric for summertime! I generally take either M or L in Kettlewell, but with this oversized/looser fit top I downsized to S which is perfect for me. More colours please!!!

I got 2 of these tops. They’re very comfy and ‘sit’ well (I’m 5ft9 and usually a 14-16 and some KW tops are too short in the body for me). They are slightly transparent so would advise wearing neutral coloured underwear, and that might even be visible. The only thing that would stop me buying again is the wash quality. I washed the tops in separate linen bags, using a gentle/ delicates wash cycle, hung out immediately on a hanger. The material has slightly bobbled and doesn’t look very ‘fresh’.

I purchased the Venus Linen Top in a Size Medium, in Colors Grey Sky and Blackberry. I sized down from my usual size L because of other reviews. Even after sizing down, I found the tops to be rather roomy and shapeless and returned them. If you like a loose, roomy fit, this is the top for you. The summer colors were lovely, and I wish I had found other, preferred styles in these colors. I do like cotton, linen, and especially cotton/linen blends, but this particular fabric left me concerned. On one of the tops, there was a small area where the fabric appeared to be a bit stretched and I questioned the fabric's strength and resilience.

Thanks to the lovely video in which Jo showed the Laguna version of this top I was delighted to purchase, and I was guided by her to choose a smaller size for a more fitted look. I am actually a 12-14 but the small suits me really well and looks semi fitted and neat. This is a beautifully made top and it looks gorgeous with jeans.

Love the lime colour but wish I had ordered a size down as it’s quite baggy and doesn’t look good on my apple shaped body. A few tweaks on the sewing machine have made it look more flattering.

I bought the Vivienne skirt in Periwinkle and Aquarius and wanted a co-ordinating top, and the Venus top in Aquarius was my choice. I decided on the Small size after reading the reviews instead of my usual Medium, and it fits very nicely. The length is good to wear with trousers and soft enough to tuck into my Vivienne skirt. The soft lightweight linen fabric seems ideal for hot days and the pretty summer colour to wear with … whatever.
