Write a reviewWell made skirt that, probably because of the lining, hangs beautifully. It is extremely slimming and I think that, maybe with an additional petticoat, you could wear this skirt in autumn/winter with a long sleeve top. I usually wear a Large but your advice that the skirt comes up a little big, meant the Medium is a perfect fit.
I bought the spring colourway in the sale. Large was really too big but the no mediums left. Fabulous colour which goes with the top i already own. However, I’m still not certain that my style suits these long floaty skirts. It went with a huge amount of items in my spring palette and I would love to say yes but every time I put it on I don’t feel like me so it’s sadly going back. If the style suits you then buy it as everything about it was beautiful.
Lovely fun but sophisticated take on an animal print. I love the marine navy and the yellows, you don't often see these in a print and it's really effective. The skirt is lovely and soft, with stretch and a nice length, not too long even on me as a petite person as is shorter than other styles like the athena.
I am so surprised that this design made it to the sale ..... But very glad that it did! Very feminine, soft swirl of colour, fully lined ...... Easy to coordinate with a plain top as well as a matching one. I have bought both the Nile Blue Top and Skirt in this design, and also the Watermelon.
Lovely skirt and a good weight. The lining is a significant plus because it makes it hang a lot better than your unlined skirts.
I bought the skit after buying the top as love the print.I already have three Athena skirts and thought it was the same.When I took it out of the parcel I was surprised by the weight….I had forgotten Mellissa showed it was lined on a live!It feels a lot different to the summer Athena skirts and is beautiful to wear…I wore for dancing and love the way it moved.The length is perfect on me(5’7”) mid calf.I had a trying on session and found lots of my tops went well with it including daffodil yellow and saffron tees and a marine navy STW.I hope there will be more of these lined skirts coming.
I bought the skirt and top in the neutral Winter colourway because it looked very versatile to style. It works well with Chloe, Rachel, Aurelia, Marta + assorted belts and scarves, giving me an endless choice over a comfortable base. I like the slim-fitting V top and swingy skirt. Much as I might have enjoyed a dynamic Winter colour combination, I think this strong neutral will get lots of wear.
