I bought this skirt for my holiday and think it will be a useful skirt for everyday wear. I usually buy a small at Kettlewell and this fitted as well as I expected it to. I like a patterned top with plain skirts but couldn't find anything that worked in the current Kettlewell range. However, I do have a couple of plain t-shirts that work with grey teal and will keep my eyes open for anything new that comes up at Kettlewell that might go well with this skirt.

Love the colour teal. After reading reviews I sized up to a large based on my hip measurements but that was an error - although it skimmed my hips it was loose on the waist so I sized down. I’ve had to shorten it as it is soooo long but I wanted a cotton skirt in my colour palette. It’s nice.

Delighted to have discovered the Weekender skirt which is perfect for me. I have one in almond peach and one in blue monaco. I find this style very easy to wear and they make great outfits with any matching top, especially the Lydia linen top...... very elegant in place of a dress. Also, for me, very versatile when creating an outfit with a range of coloured tee shirts and Chloe or Rachel jackets. I returned the Jersey Maxi skirt which does give a lovely silhouette but emphasises my tummy area too much. The Weekender though, falls a little higher at the front and I wear it with a slip for a smoother line. I am considering the light chocolate in this skirt and expect to make many more outfits.

I tried 2 colours and found the almond peach a little snugger than the blue, despite being nominally the same size. Comfortable to wear. Sadly both were far too long for me; I had to put the waistband under my armpits to clear my feet.

Just received 2 more cotton weekend skirts in Monaco blue and Silver birch as I loved the skirt that I recently purchased in colour Cherry. Love the skirt in Monaco blue which suits my Winter personality, I was not so sure of the Silver Birch as it looked so different to the colour on the Web site. I was expecting an off white/pale grey but found the colour almost identical to the colour stone which I have had before . Although disappointed I decided to try it with 2 tops I love but never seemed to find a suitable skirt to wear with them and wow it was a match in heaven. It just proves how good Kettlewell is at the basics.

nice substantial fabric. very flattering. I bought one and then had to get another. Maybe I'll get a third. It is so difficult to find natural fabrics in skirts that are not fly away lightweight fabric.

Just received the cotton weekend skirt in Colour Cherry and size medium , I ordered this because of the many good reviews given and have to agree that its very comfortable and flattering and although I'm tall I like the length as its only about 3 inches above the ankle. It is a bit see through but nude underwear solves that problem. Ordered a matching Gabrielle tee to make an outfit which is so slimming I am seriously thinking of ordering the same in colour Monaco it's so good!

Another Weekend Skirt to add to my collection. I now have 5! The Cherry is a glorious colour, and will go nicely with last year's Cherry Cara. I find that these look best with a half slip underneath to minimise cling.

So pleased with this skirt, very flattering on and great length. Always appreciate 100% cotton. Would love in dark navy and in black.

This is my fourth weekend skirt - two of which I’ve had shortened. I have full,length navy and I’ve just ordered Cherry red. What a glorious colour and so versatile. As these skirts are unlined I size up which avoids too much cling.
