Styling this season's prints - Autumns

Lene wears a Feather Print Top in Pansy & Light Dove Grey

As an Autumn, wearing print can come more naturally to you than to the brighter seasons, but it can be tempting to simply pair them with neutrals every time and risk losing the vibrancy of your rich, warm seasonal palette. It's time to go a little bolder and embrace some brighter combinations this summer, without leaving the sweet spot of your seasonal palette.

This top is such a hero - the cowl neck drapes beautifully while remaining secure, and the waist ruching accentuates (or creates!) curves. Dress up slim fitting jeans, or pair it with a fitted pencil skirt in a brighter-than-usual shade of tan for instant vavavoom.

Culottes are such an easy, breezy summer wardrobe option, and the print on these actually makes them even more wearable, camouflaging any lumps and bumps - simply throw on a neutral tee and go. If you want to experiment with double prints, switch your plain tee for a Breton stripe.

Go bold and brighten up safe teal with a splash of mustard or coral. Wear the matching skirt and top as a dress, or pair either one with a neutral for a more classic look. This spot combo is definitely your flexible friend this summer.

Sea Blue Sophie Spot Skirt | Sea Blue Sweetheart Spot Top | Soft White Lace Camisole | Coral Short Cascade Wrap | Tomato Suede Lorenz Shoes | Sea Blue Spot Print Scoop | Light Stone Rosa 7/8 Trousers | Blue Teal Superga Canvas Trainers | Amber Suede Belt

No more boring black frumpy t-shirt when you're feeling a little bit less confident than usual - this top conceals where you need it to, but the summery-without-being-overwhelming coral and silver birch combo is far more uplifting than a dark and drab top. Works with slim leg jeans, shorts, or our gorgeously comfy Lauren Jersey Trousers for the ultimate laid back look.

Silver Birch & Coral Feather Print Top | Burnt Coral Reiko Chinos | Rose Gold Superga Metallic Trainers | Copper Rose Florence Infinity Scarf | Safari Lauren Jersey Trousers | Firecracker Willow Scarf | All White Superga Canvas Trainers

This is possibly my favourite print ever. Simple but stylish, it just whispers chic without needing to scream it. Paired with chinos for a relaxed look, this tunic works equally well with our Sienna Leggings or easy Lauren Jersey Trousers.

Dark Olive & Brick Red Leona Tunic | Burnt Coral Reiko Chinos | Dark Olive Cashmere Gauze Stole | Stone Superga Canvas Trainers | Safari Lauren Jersey Trousers | Red Coral Florence Infinity Scarf | All White Superga Canvas Trainers

Adding a print scarf is a really easy way to begin mixing prints. Stick to colours from within your palette for a failsafe strategy. The pretty star scarf elevates a classic Breton look while the bright Shelby scarf adds a bold accent to the otherwise neutral outfit.
