I ordered the Roxy jacket in moss fearing that Kettlewell will pull this from their offerings eventually. I have several Roxys and Rachels and they are my most worn and best loved Kettlewell items. The colour is gorgeous and the fit seems no different from my previous Roxys. However, I was dismayed to find that the buttons are shiny gold rather than the burnished gold in the photos - please KW update the info so other customers may know what they are getting. Shiny gold seemed a rather odd choice for an exclusively autumn colour and they really cheapen the overall look. When I queried this with customer service, Rebecca confirmed that all moss Roxys in stock came with shiny gold buttons now. I decided to keep the jacket as it is impossible to find anything like this elsewhere, but given the price of the jacket, I am very disappointed that I now have to look for burnished gold/brass/bronze buttons. So far, all the ones I could find in haberdasheries have a silver backing (why??), which is no good. I also experimented with the spare button and rubbed various substances onto it (vinegar, rubbing alcohol, bleach, hairspray, toothpaste - you can tell I was getting desperate) in the hope that something might react with that awful gold and discolour it but no such luck. I love this jacket. I ordered a size up as my Rachel jacket is slightly small and this is a little too big but decided I will be able to wear thicker tops under in the winter. read more »

I’d been looking at these jackets a while, and finally sent for the Roxy jacket in Greystone as I thought this neutral colour would get most wear. I think it’s a light taupe, not grey at all. The Roxy has a lovely soft fabric and the Medium fits neatly. Although I can’t do it up I think a larger size would look too big on me. I’m a size 14. I’ve only worn it with a dress so far, and looking forward to more wear next year. A navy would be a useful shade to have please. read more »

Useful little jacket. I bought it in camel so it goes with most things. It has double layers so is as warm as a cardigan. It is flattering as it is - left unfastened, but I should have really liked a larger size than it is made in. read more »
