A/W colour combinations for Springs

The Spring palette doesn't exactly scream autumn/winter, does it? But if you belong to this brightest and breeziest of seasons and want to evoke that feeling of autumn without sacrificing the best aspects of your season, we've got the solution. Don't abandon your best colours, just try some new ways of wearing them that elicit a sense of the colder crisper seasons.

Cotton Blazer in cornflower marl, Sara V Neck in biscuit, Cashmere Gauze Stole in red coral

Red coral / cornflower / biscuit - You don't even need to stick strictly to the autumnal 'end' of the Spring palette to evoke this time of year. Layer up cosy cashmere with the softest of blazers to keep that autumnal feel, and layer bright sky blue with softer autumnal reds that still sit in the spring palette. A nature inspired hue like tan or biscuit gives the look a more natural finish.

Cosy Cotton Top in jellybean, Long Camisole in soft white, Florence Infinity Scarf in rocky road

Rocky road / jelly bean / soft white - who said autumn only has to happen to trees? There is nothing more evocative of this time of year than a hot coffee or hot chocolate on a cold day. Add a bright splash like jelly bean to maintain the spring brightness with brown and cream shades.

Sunshine yellow / oatmeal / chocolate - embracing autumn becomes even easier as a spring when you head for those Warm Spring colours. Yellow ochre and sunshine liven up softer warm neutrals, inspired by a golden autumn tree.

Bright coral / light dove grey / apple - autumn leaves don't only come in deep rich shades. Opt for the spring versions of those traditional leaf tones for maximum boldness at this time of year.
