Melissa Nicholson - co-founder, Kettlewell Colours
Iām Melissa, co-founder of Kettlewell, and this blog is a chance to share with you what goes on behind the scenes at the business, from choosing new season colours to shooting the latest catalogue and introducing friends and family to the world of colour. Each post is a little insight into the workings of a company that's all about colour and our customers.
I've been obsessed with the power of colour since my own personal colour analysis some 23 years ago, and co-founded Kettlewell with my husband John to ensure that other women who were as thrilled with their colours as I was could wear their colours all year round.
As a Spring, I can generally be found in vibrant coral pink, canary yellow and tropical azure, but I also love knowing that bright navy and cream are my best go-to neutrals, rather than draining black and white. Oh, and that nothing makes my eyes pop quite like Dutch blue.
Jo Greene - colour stylist
As a trained colour stylist, it's unsurprising that I am somewhat obsessed with, well, colour and style. Nothing thrills me more than seeing people come to life as they discover the clothes that make them look amazing. My other great love is writing ā I was a journalist prior to training as a personal stylist and colour analyst with House of Colour ā and combining my two passions in the form of weekly blog posts is genuinely the best job I've ever been offered.
My posts on the blog are intended to help you discover and explore the world of colour. Whether you were analysed 20 years ago, 20 minutes ago, or haven't yet fallen down the rabbit hole of colour analysis, I hope my blog posts will inspire you to have fun with colour and discover how fantastic it can make you look and feel.
I'm an Autumn (despite being somewhat wintery in appearance), love all my warm toned neutrals, greys and teals with a fiery passion and can usually be found sporting them with a splash of vibrant geranium red lipstick, regardless of the occasion.
