When colours clash with style for Autumns
For Autumns, natural outdoorsy looks come easily. The Autumn palette is filled with warm, earthy tones and elegant neutrals, lending itself beautifully to layers, texture and tonal colour combinations which create relaxed, laid back and effortless looks. Slightly trickier though, can be something a little more minimalist and sleek, or a more fun and colourful look.
Trickier, but far from impossible. With a little thought, it's perfectly possible to make the Autumn palette work with any personal style. The key is thinking creatively about the colours you use from your palette, and the combinations you put them together in. Rather than opting for Autumn's usual tonal, harmonious look, try contrasting colours from opposite ends of the palette - Deep Teal with Cinnamon, for example. And don't forget Autumn's more unusual colours - neon shades and soft autumn colours like Desert Rose can all make a surprising impact.

Who says Autumns can't do contrast? Electric Lime makes a vibrant statement against Blackberry and Marine Teal, giving a fun edge to the Autumn palette.
