COLOURMulberry

This is my first poncho as an adult--I loved mine as a kid! This is not my childhood poncho, but an elegant update. Soft, warm, and effortlessly chic. I think Kettlewell knits are a cut above average. Mulberry is a saturated, rich color that stands out--in a good way. read more »

COLOURGeranium

Having laughed when my older cousin wore a poncho in the late 90's (all be it a slightly more "authentic" style) I always passed it by unable to let the memories of that fashion faux pas go. Having reassessed and examined my motivations/passed prejudice I'm now on my second and am hoping there will be more in the autumn and have not missed the boat for new colours - aquamarine perhaps or a tan/camel maybe? It's got a lovely weight and drape and the holy grail of warmth and style. read more »

My second poncho because they are so comfy, cosy and stylish. . Such a good size too. They seem a bit pricey but to get the colour just right and know that you can wear it with loads of things just makes it worth it. read more »

I have two of these from previous seasons and have also bought them as gifts. They are perfect for holidays be it cold aircraft or outdoor eating and can be kept rolled up in your bag. Recently, I have broken my wrist and the plaster cast meant I was unable to wear normal knitwear or jackets when it turned chilly. Thank goodness I had my ponchos to keep me warm. read more »

COLOURDeep Teal

I initially dithered on this purchase due to the price but, now that I have it, I can say that I love it! The deep teal is a great 'in-between' colour to act as a pseudo 'navy blue' neutral for Deep Autumns - just a *hint* darker than the merino infinity scarf & beanie (Kettlewell, pleeease make matching merino gloves for a set!) but it works as well as the conker & cream versions that I also own (I tried Citronella but it's fairly bright for a Darker colouring - I suspect it would better suit the True or Blue Autumn seasonal subtype). I'm just under 5ft4 & it's most flattering when worn with the 'point' in front (others the side 'points' accentuate my hips). The material is high enough quality to repel moisture (I accidentally spilt milk down mine on its second outing, but brushing it off meant it was as if it never even happened - no odour, either!) read more »
