I love this t-shirt in marine navy - the colour doesn't show up well on the web-site so I was delighted to find it to be EXACTLY the right shade of navy with a greenish hint which makes it look a bit like what my mother would have called a "petrol colour" or a very deep teal! I've just had to order a pair of Laurens in the same shade as navy trousers are such a staple for me and it's so difficult to find the right shade for an autumn. I have lived in these t shirts for the last 2 summers. I like the fabric and the range of colours. However I really do wish the design of the sleeve would be changed. I am approaching 60 and cannot escape the fact that, despite frequent trips to the gym, the tone of my upper arms has abandoned me. The cut of the sleeves sits right on the point of my arm where that increasingly saggy skin is most apparent. Surely I can't be the only older customer who finds capped sleeves to be extremely unflattering? Regrettably therefore, unless the design of the sleeve is modified I will not be buying these t shirts again. It's a shame as they are otherwise great, and wash beautifully.- Gillian (26/03/2024)

i absolutely love the color watermelon. This is my first purchase in this color and style. I have only just tried it on, and cannot wait to wear it when our New England temperatures allow. Bought this in Aquamarine and Sea Green. The former is meant to be for Spring colourway but I liked the colourand the latter for Summer colurway - however it seems a bit of a dark colour to wear in the summer months. Anyway I decided to keep both. I can never have enough T shirts as I only dress up on high days and holidays. Do wish there were more nice pale and medium blue T shirts for Summer people to wear - in summer II still live in hope that we'll see some summer weather this year in the UK !!). I'm a Dark Autumn, and it's really challenging to find essential white t-shirts in anything but plain white. I'm always on the lookout for a softer creamier ivory shade, and the Soft White here is PERFECT. Living in South Texas, I would very much appreciate a lower % of Spandex in the fabric mix -- even 3% can "heat up" an otherwise perfectly comfortable cotton top. Also please expand beyond LL sizing as Cotton WILL shrink even with the most careful laundering method.- BJ (26/06/2023)

I bought this t-shirt in Large fushia. It fits well and is a lovely colour. My usual size is 12 to 14. The quality is very good, although I would have liked it a little shorter. However, I then purchased two more t-shirts of this style indifferent colours and the same size. Both were too tight and had to be returned. I bought 2 of these, in Navy and Watermelon. I am a busty size 14 (36FF), and they are fitted on me. The neckline and shoulders of the L sit exactly right on me so I have decided not to size up. This is my fourth Cotton V-Neck in one of my triple star colours: French Grey. This colour makes a fabulous foundation for mixing with many of the beautiful summer palette colours such as pinks, greens, lavender and even a bit of primrose! I love the simplicity of the Cotton V Neck - it is exactly what is described. The bonus is that it has a little give and so I am gradually building up my collection - I have 4 now in fabulous colours. I like it that they can be worn casually or paired with a pretty skirt and a cashmere gauze stole, can be worn in the evening. The new smokey orchid is so much nicer than the pure orchid colour from a couple of years ago for a summer like me as it is softer. I have the cotton V neck in Tango red , cobalt blue and dark emerald. I buy them in L as I put them in the tumble dryer and I have broad shoulders (I wear a 12 in tops). I love this basic cotton v neck t-shirt. The cotton is a really good quality and keeps in good shape. Somehow I prefer the V neck to the round neck - must be something to do with my face shape. The colors available are always beautiful and on trend. Last year I bought a jelly bean green and this year I was drawn to the dark lime color which is lovely for autumns. Dark Emerald is my favourite green so I was delighted it was available in this easy wear, everyday style. Yes, itās possible to buy cheaper Tees but my Ganzi Purple one from 2020 still looks new so cost per wear, they represent fantastic value! Iām between a size M (relaxed fit) and L (fitted) in Kettlewell tops (36DD) so ordered this in an L which, on me, looks semi-fitted. It surprisingly wasn't easy until my Kettlewell friends pointed me in the direction of your cotton V neck. I ordered one, in a size Small and was so pleased I ordered a further two. The cotton V neck is my favourite day-to-day style. The sleeves are long enough to cover my shoulders and not bunch annoyingly under my arms, but not so long they look odd like some of the other Kettlewell styles Iāve tried. The V neck is flattering but not so deep that I feel at risk of showing my bra. The fit is a little loose in S, but too tight in XS, for a size 10 - I would ideally like a bit more room in the bust in the XS for a perfect fit. I buy it in every ice colour in my size, as itās so good for summer with linen trousers, and its so hard to find the ice colours.- Nic (02/07/2022)

I fell in love with the colour macadamia when I bought a silky roll neck in the winter. I need some warmth and a depth of colour for my 'white' and macadamia is perfect. This is my second cotton v neck. I like the simplicity of the style, the v is low enough for a pendant, but not too low, sizing is spot on and the fabric has a bit of give, which I need. Kettlebell Colours focuses on ābasicsā i.e. the foundations of an outfit and they do so extremely well! I bought my first Kettlewell slash neck long sleeved top in 2012 and I still have it. the color hasnāt faded and the the fabric hasnāt stretched or warped as some t-shirts do. Not the cheapest clothes but definitely worth every penny. I own several cotton v-neck t-shirts and wear them with jeans, the palazzo trousers or summer skirt. I mostly wear to these more casually with a jeans or palazzo trousers and cardigan but they can be dressed up with skirt, nice silk scarf and jacket.- Ilse (12/06/2022)

DO NOT MACHINE DRY! Lovely shirtā¦.but washed and dried it shrunk an entire size and is now unwearable. I then checked the label and see that you arenāt supposed to dry these. Please add ādo not machine dryā to the care listed in the product description. I wouldnāt have purchased these had I known. These two Cotton V Neck tee shirts are lovely. The quality of the cotton is great and the style and fit are really really good. I love these Kettlewell Colours and both of these t-shirts are gorgeous colours. One is a lime green which is my favourite colour and the other one is a much lighter green but it will go with lots of skirts and jeans, etc. I am always very happy with Kettlewell and my wardrobe is getting more and more full of Kettlewell clothes. I have several of these tops now and they are my go to in warmer weather. The cut really suits me but I've realised that although I love the paler colours because I am very small with a largish bust deeper colours work best on me- as paler colours seem to make my bust look bigger. Its all about the colour for me! I have been searching for something to purchase in Macadamia, and I chose this as I thought It would be versatile. I am a 14 and avoid very tightly fitted things so chose an L which is generally my KW size. Having worn it once, I think an M would have been better as it is quite stretchy and generous. I don't think I would buy another one though, as £29 for for a basic T shirt seems expensive to me, having said that, it's all about the colour isn't it? where else could I find macadamia? For me, this is the perfect v-neck t-shirt. I'm a 36H and while this is quite clingy it hangs well below my bust. I like that it has a small amount of Elastane in it so it never goes baggy. Lovely colours - I bought three of these t-shirts, fuschia, ganzi purple and also blue jewel and the colours are stunning. The t-shirts didnāt feel very cotton-like I have to say, and they were fairly clingy too. I am going to keep but just west under things as a base layer which is a shame as I wanted to wear them for hot weather. Not my favourite Kettlewell purchases I am afraid. Loving the lime colour in this comfortable tee with just the right depth of v neck for me - not too low for day time wear on its own and high enough to wear for a flash of lime under Cosy cotton v neck and other tops. Would love this style in long sleeves or a hetta pima long Tee with this v neck . UK14 32E and M was plenty big enough unless I wanted it baggy. This is a lovely tee with a good V-neck (not too high or low and not too steep/narrow a V) with a nice sleeve that isnāt too long or short and the amber colour is gorgeous. Sadly, I find that the shape and fabric doesnāt work for me overall. My usual size medium is very tight on the bust (Iām a 34C, so not particularly busty) and looser on the waist (I wear the silkies in medium on their own and donāt feel self-conscious in them, as I do in this V-neck). Itās a thicker and slightly stiff fabric, so that it doesnāt drape so well. When I tuck or belt, the folds/wrinkles created cannot be smoothed out. I waited too long to return it, but will just have to stick with the softer viscose styles in future.- Laura (03/04/2021)

I really like this T-shirt. The fit is nearly perfect, the colour (Amber) is really nice, and the quality is excellent. I am normally a size 10/12, with a smaller waist and bigger chest, so I never really know which of my measurements to fit. I generally opt for a middle ground, and in this top, the medium fits very well. The fabric is stretchy enough to accomodate my larger chest and still fitted enough in the waist. Have been disappointed in this because the bottom of the t-shirt is constantly rolling up on itself. It's the same size I have in many other Kettlewell tops, that are in a range of both tighter and looser fitting than this one, so have no idea why it's doing this. Luckily working at home nobody can see the bottom of the t-shirt but I would be reluctant to wear it outside the house as it is. Colour lovely and style (in theory) otherwise fine, but the 'wearability' is poor for the price, honestly I have several uniqlo t-shirts of a similar style but a lot cheaper that look better than this does.- Lucy (14/07/2020)

The V-neck was not too low, so I don't need to wear a cami with this top. I ordered Light Sage in this style, too, but sadly it went back because the color wasn't quite right for me. I ordered two of these T-shirtās the second one was white but came up very long and much thicker material so sadly returned. However the weight and stretch of the pink T-shirt is excellent . Although Duck Egg is *50% colour for me I was a bit apprehensive as I have worn Duck Egg before and it has not been very flattering, but that may have been due to the style. I have finally found the perfect T shirt for me! I'm around 5ft 6, size 12 ish and a Spring. The fabric (which is soft and has a slight elasticity, and not too flimsy) and fit (slightly fitted without being clingy or tight) makes this really good for smart (under a jacket) or casual. The v neck is a good shape (not too high, and not too low!). I bought the Apple mint (brilliant on me), Geranium and Soft White. I'm going to buy another Apple Mint and also the Bright Navy as I can see these turning into a real staple for me. If only there were more Spring colours!- Emma (24/04/2020)

Definitely a cut above the average T. The classic V is very flattering and the material feels smooth and luxurious. I bought Ganzi Purple to go with the Shawl Wrap and they make a stunning duo. Kettlewell's versatile clothes are serving me as well in lockdown as they do in "real life". They move easily into leisurewear and keep me looking bright and cheerful. I am a Spring, 5'6 and size 10-12 on top. Last seaon I purchased this top in size L in soft white. Lovely but a little too long. I usually buy tops roomy as don't like anything clingy over the tum. So this time I purchased Apple Mint in size M. The size is perfect and not clingy across the tummy. The fabric feels substantial and is not see through. This colour is gorgeous for a spring. I bought this in the apple mint and the soft white in a large (normally a medium, size 12-14). The size is fine - not very fitted with a deeper V which is what I wanted - the material is quite stretchy so it doesn't look too big. They are quite long, so good for wearing with jeans. The apple mint is a delightful colour for springs. I will wear it with my new KW pale aqua cardigan. The white one will be endlessly useful. It is so difficult to find nice t shirts so I am happy to pay the KW price for these.- Louise (07/04/2020)

I am delighted with this V neck T shirt. On the face of it I could describe it as a simple top but the design and quality of the fabric are so much more. A great texture, a flattering V neck, shaping and cap sleeves are everything I hoped for in this top. The bright navy is a new colour for me to wear and I am surprised how well it suits me. I thing it will be a cool and comfortable one to wear in warmer weather and it will team up with many things I might want to wear. I am normally between size A and M IN Kettlewell clothes. I sized up to a M this time and it fits well particular at the shoulders which is where I find the problem usually is and there isn't too much volume at the waist easy to tuck in to make my legs looks little longerš.- Karen (09/03/2020)

Lately I find I must thoroughly go over each piece of my order when it arrives. I purchased a second one of these in the deep aqua color and upon opening I immediately noticed what appeared to be an ink pen mark on the front. My previous purchase of these item had what looked like excess dye stains on the back shoulder to neck seam area. Fortunately most of it came out in the wash and my long hair covers the remaining small spot, but this second one was returned. Lovely colour and fit, but length too long. Why do all manufacturers assume that larger people are taller or longer in the body? I'd be really happy if you started producing a petite range for shorter people. The cotton is lovely, the V neck is perfect and the sleeve length is good. The length is a little long for me at 5ft3in but not enough to be a problem.
