5'5" warm autumn US size 8/10. I have been looking at the Chloe for a while now and worried it was going to be too short for me as I have a longer torso. I finally decided to give it a try because everyone seems to love it. I'm so glad I did! It is so comfortable and I love the neckline. It has great shape and structure. I adore this jacket as I can wear it year around either with a sleeveless square neck vest or a silky roll neck depending on the temperatures. It is a work horse that definitely earns its keep. W❄️W! What an incredible colour - A true, icy-clear blue! And such a versatile, as well as beautiful, alternative light neutral for Winters. I’m typically a size L in most Kettlewell tops and although I have some size M Chloes and Rachels, in this colour, the size L looked better. Thank you, Kettlewell Colours! First you created my perfect pink Chloe (Fuchsia) and now my favourite green! Definitely delighted! I was also fortunate enough to be able to compare the fit of the size M and L jackets at the Colour Studio. And although I’m a size L in most Kettlewell tops, we decided the Size M Chloe fitted best as I don’t intend to ever wear it done up and typically wear it instead of a knit/ over a top, as a more structured but still as comfortable, alternative to a cardigan. Perfection! I have 4 of these! French gray, silver moon, damson, amethyst. I wear them pretty much on rotation every day. They look great with jeans, skirts, and of course, the Laurens. Black alone these days, (late seventies), makes me look haggard, but I've a wardrobe full of the jewel brights from Kettlewell to perk things up - I'm going to go down fighting! This is a great little jacket. I am a size 10 and quite busty (32FF), and a small was fine on me (whereas in the Rachel jacket a small was too tight on the arms). Although if you are planning on wearing a jumper beneath it, you might want to size up. I've worn it a lot already, great for casual or smart. The French Grey goes with everything. I am probably going to get another one when the budget allows! It is quite thin and not lined as others have said, but I like this as it feels really light and comfy.- Josephine (30/01/2024)

This is a very smart jacket- Im waiting for the spring/ summer to wear it because it is not very thick. I have worn it once and the sleeves looked bagging afterwards so Im not sure about how smart-looking it will remain--- I think the fabric could have been thicker..hence only 4 starts for value. I looked at this jacket for almost a year before I purchased it. I waited so long because I thought the jacket was too expensive. I try to build a wardrobe with interchangeable pieces and this jacket is perfect. It fits true to size. The jacket isn’t lined but it doesn’t need to be. These are a best seller for a reason -- they are terrific! Great, stretchy fabric with just a ton of style. I'm very comfortable in this but also feel chic. I also really appreciate the alteration-friendly cuffs. I got the Capri Blue and then turned around and got the Cream. As others have mentioned, the pockets are minimal, but still good for an ID and a credit card. :-)- Louise (10/12/2023)

I was given a Chloe Jacket in French Grey for my birthday (a requested expensive present). I am a winter, size 10/12 on top, the Small is the right size for me. I chose the colour deliberately so I could wear it over a range of other colours. I absolutely love it - I've been wearing it over a dress or with a top & skirt for work. It can go from work, to evening out, to running errands. Completely versatile with different outfits. 3 points in particular: the price point was high for me as an unlined jacket (hence birthday present), however I now realise that for "cost per wear" this is going to be a hero piece for me; the pockets are really only good for a lipstick (see item video); unsure of the sizing, I requested the medium originally but had to send it back as it was just too big. This is my fourth Chloe jacket and I absolutely love it! The colour (Dark Emerald) is fabulous, the fit is great and it goes with so many things. My daughter did say that I looked like a leprechaun in it, but that's children for you! It cheers me up when I wear it and will be wonderful at Christmas. Also looks great with the Athena skirt and Phoebe blouse in Black Forest. Thank you so much Kettlewell for another joyful jacket. I'm so thrilled to finally have a chloe jacket that fits so I can keep it! The previous seasons jackets have been too tight in a size small and way too big in a size medium losing the gorgeous fitted shape. But this seasons jacket sizing is spot on for me. I love the colour and darker hardware, and find the Chloe can be dressed up or down, taking me from the gym, shopping then out to dinner. I received my dark emerald Chloe this morning. The medium was a perfect fit. I prefer them open. The dark emerald a lovely colour and the quality is good. The Chloes are rather pricey for an unlined light jacket such as this, but they are so easy to wear and smart looking, I shall continue to buy them! When I was diagnosed as a “Winter” I was , initially, a bit put out as I thought I didn’t “do” pink!! WRONG! Then I thought I an do vibrant pinks but not a pale pink. WRONG! I absolutely love this jacket… the style and the colour. The shell pink looks lovely with so many colours but ,for me, especially with a dark contrast! Love this jacket. Good weight for autumn/spring. Olive colour is very versatile, slightly less yellow than typical olive which I find means it goes with more. Can brighten it up with a bright colour underneath or dull it down. Nice soft feel so can be used as an interesting cardigan rather than a jacket.- Liz (09/10/2023)

Oh dear! Another to add to the collection! Fabulous colour for this sweet pea summer. Not worn much yet but I will! Sized down and wished I’d bought smaller in previous Chloe’s - so much neater and I would never were over lots of layers as I’m always warm! I can’t emphasise how important getting the perfect colour, which works so well with lots of kettlewell pieces (prints and plains) is. For this reason alone I have bought several - if it didn't go with so much, it would be a much more expensive item, on a cost per wear basis. I have wanted to try Kettlewell for some time now as a consultant, I thought it would be a good resource for my clients to also try out. I like to buy before I recommend so I bought the Chloe jacket. I love the style, the fabric is 100% cotton perfect for the warm weather and the colour is a true damson I specifically love the silver zipper, great for a winter palette. The zipper is a little rough however, and the pockets are small, not that I want huge pockets of course but just slightly larger so I can put my hands in there if I need to. I also found that the collar was very creased and after trying to unsuccessfully steam the creases away this left a stickler to detail like me a little disappointed. i really like the chloe jacket. im five feet, 2 and a half inches tall. my style is natural/adventurer. i like the style of this jacket as it goes well with trousers or a skirt. it can be worn casually or dressed up. chloe provides a light jacket and is a smarter alternative to a cardigan or sweatshirt.- laura (01/09/2023)

Well, what can I say. It took me a while to find how and where the Chloe 'jackets' fitted in to my dramatic classic wardrobe. Was it a jacket or a cardigan? Was it smart enough to wear going out? Well, yes. Fuchsia is the perfect fit for playing up to a smarter image, but also a cosy added layer at home. SIZE: X Small COLOUR: Cornflower
I ordered the Chloe jacket in both a small and an x-small. It actually wasn't on purpose. The cream was only available in the Small, so that's why I chose a different size in that one. I'm 5'3 , 118 and am petite with narrow shoulders. The X-small fits me if I leave it unzipped - but there is no way I can zip it up, even half way without looking ridiculous. I'm a 34 B, so I'm not majorly busty, but I sure look busty if I zip it up. Also - the X-small is really short! I'm short to begin with, and am short waisted, so its a bit shocking to me to see how short this jacket is on. If you are petite person, you'll be happy with the length. If you aren't petite and you order an X-small, be prepared for it to look like a cropped jacket on you. I'm a little surprised by the fit of the X-small, as I swear I read other people's reviews, where they said it was "larger" than usual? We must have gotten two completely versions of X-small. The small fits better on me, and I am able to zip it up - however, it looks a bit strange fully zipped up. It only looks good when zipped up about halfway through. The sleeves on the small are a bit too long on me. But like I said, I'm petite. While I like both jackets (I have the Cornflower blue in X-small and Cream in Small), I feel this jacket is really overpriced for the quality. This is essentially just made out of cotton - almost like a sweatshirt material, and it doesn't have the structure of a traditional "jacket" or blazer that you might wear for work. While I guess that means you can wash it, I'd be hesitant to do so, as I'd worry about shrinkage. I really feel like this should be priced around $119, not $179. That's my two cents if it matters. I'm technically a "summer" and both colors look good on me. I would buy a lot more of these if the price was lowered.- Susan (04/08/2023)

You might like to try styling the Chloe with a dress or skirt as the shorter length looks neater and creates a lovely shape. If the sizing is not to your liking, you are of course most welcome to return the jacket to us.

Dropped shoulder style designed for a straight up-and- down figure with a big bust. Not me. Fabric is similar to what is what I would call "French Terry ". That is to say, Sweatshirt fabric without the brushed finish. It has nice detailing, but where the fabric is double thickness it is pretty clunky. I love the Chloe jacket in Island Green. The colour appealed to me instantly and as soon as I was re-rated as Warm, Light and Clear (Spring) I bought it in celebration! I have some Rachels too, which I also love. The Chloe fits me slightly better for some reason, it just seems very slightly easier to zip up and seems to fall a tiny bit longer. There are pros and cons in terms of the Chloe cotton versus the Rachel faux suede. They both look good if you need an extra layer as I often do.- Sally (31/07/2023)

I have really enjoyed wearing the Chloe Jacket this season, and have bought several. When summer fails us, it's a perfect alternative to a cardi and much sassier. It's smart casual, easier to wear than a jacket, and looks good with dresses, trousers and all sorts of skirts. My surprisingly successful colour choice this summer has been Ice Pink, which I like to style with a strong contrast like Indigo and a dash of Hot Pink. I ordered it in ice pink in medium which was too small for me (size 14, pushing 16) and I think it would look great in a navy blue but it’s sold out in large in nearly every colour. I’ll keep an eye out for new stock as I think I would get a lot of wear out of it in the right size and right colour. I ordered a Chloe jacket a few years ago and was disappointed to find it a bit skimpy, but was tempted to try again this year. I went for Ice Pink and was not disappointed; it's a lovely fresh, contrasting colour for my Winter palette. The fit feels more forgiving, the lapels wider and the length is better. Not sure whether the design has changed a bit - or I have? Anyway, I'm very happy to risk another in fabulous Fuchsia!- Helen (12/05/2023)

I’m rather a late adopter of the Chloë jacket but this year I have discovered the amazing pink ice Chloë. It’s difficult for winters to find good ice colours and this jacket is ace. I like the slight stretch given by the sweatshirt type fabric, and the edginess of the biker jacket styling. When I wear it I instantly feel good, and often put a stripey pima beneath the Chloë, which gives a super layered effect.- Alex (06/05/2023)

I had a Chloe in Laguna from a previous season and loved it so I was delighted to see it back again ! It is very comfortable and I like the fact that it has a little more give than the fabric in the Rachel . The Iris is a fabulous colour and I also ordered a Neptune Blue which is lovely too . I am a size 14/16 depending on my fluctuating weight and although I am bigger at the moment , the L still fits and looks good even though it would only zip up at a push. That’s not a problem as I don’t bother with the zip most of the time . I’d love to see the Cate back next season as sometimes I like to wear a longer jacket.- Angela (25/04/2023)

Bought to wear with the Tilly dress, amongst other things. Loved the Iris colour. Wanted to like the style. The softer fleece material is comfortable and better than the faux suede in my opinion. I have several of these jackets and have never had a complaint. Some I have been wearing for years and they are still like new. However my latest two from this years collection have really disappointed me. The fabric has changed slightly, is thicker and is easily creased. There are a flaws ,small dark marks, in the fabric which I noticed when ironing the jackets. By the time I realised how much they had changed I was past the return date so I have been left with jackets I may very seldom wear. A costly mistake. SIZE: Small COLOUR: Soft Yellow
I love this jacket! The colour is very flattering on me as a Spring, almost a neutral, and the fabric is thick and stretchy - like wearing a smart hoodie. I am 5'3" and the length is fine on me. Sleeves could be a little shorter but they push up fine. It also washes well. I washed it on 40 degrees, tumbled to get the fabric warm and then shook out the creases and left to dry on a hanger- Vicky (24/04/2023)

COLOUR: Iris
I am very pleased with how this jacket looks on my petite frame. It looks smarter than a cardigan but less formal than a blazer style jacket. I do think, however, that it is overpriced for what is basically sweatshirt fabric.- Sandra (22/04/2023)

Love love and love this colour chloe jkt, my all time favourite! There such a great versatile garmet for anyone's wardrobe. True to size, they are a little short but so Comfy with cotton fabric that has a bit of give .looks great with jeans or with a dress. Very pleased with the beautiful moss colour of this jacket. I bought a medium and now realise that as my confidence with colour and style has increased through Kettlewell blogs and lives that I no longer need to hide my figure in bigger sizes. My previous chestnut ‘Chloe’ was a large and still great to wear as I had the sleeves shortened and put in shoulder pads. I am delighted with the cream Chloe in XS, I am 5' 2" with a petite frame and this fits me perfectly. So nice to get a jacket that feels in proportion to my height! I am allergic to polyester so very pleased KW have made this style in cotton. They are prone to creases at elbow joints, but these are not very noticeable and the whole jacket looks smart enough dressy occasions.- Helen (16/04/2023)

I was so pleased that Kettlewell have brought back the Chloe jacket this season. It was one of the first items I bought a few years ago and I couldn't resist the Pink Ice one this year as I wear this colour a lot. In fact, to me it is a neutral as it goes with nearly all my Summer colours. I love the biker style of the Chloe which feels modern and it is the perfect layer for cooler summer days. I bought my usual Size M and it does feel a tiny bit larger than my existing one but that means I can squeeze in an extra layer under it if need be. Just slightly worried I will get it dirty which would be typical with a light coloured jacket but I shall have to be careful!- Claire (13/04/2023)

This is my go-to summer jacket for a windy or a slight chill on a warm summer's day but also for wear in the office. It's sassy and edgy and fun yet smart enough for the office and authoritative meetings. It's one of my favourite colours and this one is a fabulous intense real fuchsia pink. It's bound to cheer up anything neutral or not so neutral you wear it with, and like Mary Quant used to say: when the day is grey or you need cheering up: WEAR PINK! The quality too is excellent as is the fit, it's just so easy to wear and transforms the most simple of basic outfits to a wow. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will admit I have the fabulous Chloe in a range of Winter colours, but this fuchsia will be my favourite.- Susan (11/04/2023)

This is the perfect warmer season jacket I was hoping for. This Island Green color is a perfect Blue Spring color as it effortlessly goes with all my best Blue Spring colors. I've always loved a sporty green color with medium and bright denim and this color is especially nice paired that way. The gold toned hardware elevates the look to where I can wear it zipped up and neat with trousers and skirts of any length. As someone with fleshy upper arms and larger chest measurements, I can only wear the small in the warmer seasons with sleeveless tops. If I was wanting to wear over a sweater I would have needed to buy the medium. But, in the fall I love the look of suede anyway so the Rachelle in size medium has me covered during those months. For their sustainability brief KW have excelled here. This jacket will stay in my wardrobe a long time. It is very versatile, and washes well. I wear mine both indoors as a layer on cooler days and outdoors. Chloe goes with most of my outfits whether casual or smart. I chose Moss, a mid palette colour that goes with all Au colours, whether warmer or cooler end of the palette and Cream, a light neutral, which with its gold zip, brings my “happy place” Au/Su crossover colours firmly into the Autumn side.- Susan (08/04/2023)

I saw Jo wearing this cream colored Chloe jacket during this season’s “sneak peak” in the Kettlewell Colour Club Friday Live and I was smitten. As a natural gamine, I loved the relaxed way Jo modeled it in her unique adventurer style. When I received my jacket it did not disappoint. The fit is a bit tidier than last year’s version and fabric is forgiving, soft and comfortable. These jackets are a fountain of youth for those of us who refuse to submit to the dowdy look of mature women! When it comes to color, Kettlewell is able to create colors that appeal to the senses. Absolutely love the Chloe in cream. I tried both Small and Medium. I’m a 10-12 on top but felt the Small bit tight on upper arms and too snug when done up. Medium was a safe bet. The cream is going to go with everything, dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans etc and the gold zip ties in nicely with my gold jewellery. I think Chloe and I are destined to become best friends. I recently bought two and the latest - in cornflower - makes my heart sing as it’s such a glorious colour. I love the stretchy fabric, and it’s such a comfortable item to wear whilst looking casual but neat and tidy, which suits my Natural Classic style. I wear it indoors as a substitute for a wrap or cardigan, and it's going to get a lot of wear outdoors this spring and summer on cooler days. I usually take a Large in Kettlewell tops but sized down to a Medium for the Chloe and it fits very well. I’m 5ft 1.75in and the length is just right on me. The sleeves are a bit long for my short arms but that’s not unusual, and they easily and neatly tuck up inside.- Tris (07/04/2023)

Hail the return of the wonderful Chloe jackets. How I have missed you! This time as a winter I bought two - fuchsia and iris. I did have a sangria previously and the new one is an even nicer colour - one if my wow colours. I love it and feel super confident in this fuchsia jacket. The iris is so beautiful but it was so very similar in colour to an older sapphire jacket that I almost sent it back. In the end I kept it. From the moment I saw Jo wearing the gorgeous cream Chloe on one of her Friday Lives I was smitten. Torn between the cream and the cornflower blue I opted for cream in the end because Jo looked so good in it and I loved the way she pushed the sleeves up demonstrating the fabric’s versatility. The day of the turquoise package arrived and I rushed to try on my very own Chloe jacket. It didn’t disappoint! Delighted with the cut, the cotton fabric and the biker style. I chose a Large size and feel it is just right for my shape. The cream colour goes with the rest of my spring wardrobe. It's not a jacket style I've worn before, so it was a bit of a gamble but oh my - what a great little jacket...fits beautifully, feels like good quality, and the colour is fabulous! Thought twice about buying this because of the expense as this is in a heavy 100% cotton fabric. However the cut and fit were classy and as a 5ft 5 curvy size 14 I loved the shorter fit. I now have 12 Chloe jackets with a 13th on the way. I think it’s safe to say I LOVE this jacket. I wear these mainly for work but I can equally wear it more casually with jeans and this is what I like about the jacket, dressed up or down it’s a great companion, worn with a skirt but equally comfortable with jeans. It comes in a comfortable fabric which gives when wearing and allows movement, It’s washable and I’ve really got my moneys worth from all my jackets, they really work in my wardrobe, I honestly wear one of the them most days. Whilst the initial cost of this jacket seems high and you might question whether it’s good value, I would say yes, my cost per wear is approx £4 and I’ve really got my moneys worth, they have really lasted and look as good as they did when I first bought them- Gill (31/03/2023)

Just received my first Chloe jacket today and am so pleased with it. I got the cornflower color and it is just beautiful! I got it in large because I was between medium & large by measurements and wanted to wear a thin sweater underneath and it fits perfectly. The cornflower color will be very versatile in my wardrobe. I’m delighted with my new cream Chloe jacket in XS. I normally take a S in Kettlewell tops (UK 10 in tops) but tried the XS and it’s a much neater fit and slightly shorter in length which suits me much more and will be ideal over summer dresses and tops. I would probably stick with S if wearing over heavier layers. I am just in love with the Chloe jacket in this gorgeous pink ice color! It's divine! I have several Chloe jackets from past seasons and feel that the fit is about the same as my other jackets. I appreciate having a lighter outer wrap to wear in contrast with my brights and darker colored items. I do agree with another reviewer that it has gotten quite expensive though. I just got my first Chloe. Love it. I love the color, the fit. Everything. I may get the soft yellow as well. Looks fabulous on Melissa. As a True Spring, I prefer the gold hardware on the jackets. When a jacket is suitable for spring/summer or spring/winter, it always has silver buttons/zippers and it just doesn’t look right on me. I wish it came in both options. I’m a sucker for cornflower, but I don’t like the silver zipper. I’m by no means complaining, it’s actually a good thing for me — I won’t buy them all!!!! 😁- Tammy (25/03/2023)

I absolutely love her! 💕 I’m between an M and L and ordered a size M as I prefer a more fitted jacket and almost always wear them open (over everything from a SRN / Stripey Pima Tee to a Cara V/ Nina Rib vest). The fit is almost identical to my two Rachel Jackets. If it helps, my Roxy is also a size M. Chloe is perhaps slightly narrower around the top of my arms but the fabric does have more ‘give’ than the Faux Suede. Highly recommend!- Alison (08/03/2023)

My grumble is ...The Price has gone up .We understand like most things has but not that much as they were already expensive. Bought chloe early as didn't want to miss out .
