I always need a silver belt as it works with every colour I have. This simple every day style is ideal. It is a replacement for another brand which is looking well worn now. I am delighted with my silver belt. I can't believe how much it lifts an outfit. I'm am relatively new to Kettlewell and have admired all the customer posts featuring this belt. It is expensive at first glancei, but it is excellent quality and I've already worn it a number of times. The sizing advice was spot on for me. Bought to replace a silver belt that was getting scruffy and I‘M really pleased with it. Sizing guide is accurate and the number of holes means it will fit jeans a bit below the waist but also at waist level over a dress although there’s quite a bit of spare belt to secure (I use a white rubber band so it doesn’t flap). The silver makes a nice contrast with most colours without being too stark like white might appear but also isn’t too shiny like many silver belts are. Goes with all my silver jewellery. I’ve had the Silver metallic belt for some time and the Bright Amethyst is a recent purchase. I love the quality of KW belts, I already have several in leather and suede. I have two of the metallic belts, silver and bright amethyst, and they must be two of the items that I wear the most. They add a pop of colour and texture to any outfit and can elevate a look from 'ok' to 'amazing'. The quality of these belts is top class. I have found that much loved belts can start to look 'worn' quite quickly, but not these! I have worn the silver one literally dozens of times and it still looks new. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am very petite and have KW belts in both XS and S. The XS is ideal if you only wear it with high waisted jeans or skirt and so I have bought both of these is size S so that I can comfortably wear them with my mid rise jeans too. This review is for the silver one but the comments are equally applicable to the amethyst one, which I adore.- Marion (06/04/2023)

Albeit very expensive, the belt seems to be of good quality. The color is a lovely soft pink (pink being my absolute fave color and the metallic finish is stunning, eye catching and quite fancy!) I also have this belt in the silver, which is going to be my all around neutral. The small is a little big on me, but if I ever want to wear the belt lower around the hip area I figured I should leave some room. Sizing is generous.- Michelle (19/02/2023)

I have been hankering after this bronze belt for a long time but felt it was way out of my budget. However some vouchers for Christmas (which incidentally i must have spent 3 times over when i discovered the sale!!! ;)) gave me the push. It looks great on. The leather wrinkles with use but i like that. It looks like a real belt rather than a fancy accessory. I am generally pretty low key with clothes but i do love colour! Being a dark eyed autumn leaf Bronze was my top colour for accessories when i got my colours done 18 yrs ago but this is my first piece. Love it! I have owned this belt for a little over a year and do not remember writing a review so thought I should. As a bright spring the gold metallic belt is my neutral. I own several of the KW belts but this is the one worn nearly every day. It wears well, does not crack - that is the sign of quality as a lot of belts I have owned in the past from other brands that are metallic show age rather quickly. Everyone knows that KW knits are the best but I would say their leather goods are some of the best around as well! Would love to have this color of gold in a purse (please do bring them back) as this gold is a tasteful gold. As I am further down the path of my 'color journey', looking back I probably did not need to buy the other belts as the metallic does it all! I would say if you could only get one belt but cannot decide, go for a metallic. It's a one and done wardrobe hero.- Melissa (17/10/2022)

Utterly fabulous belt which has already come down to pence per wear as I have worn it almost daily for two years. It takes any outfit to the next level and I smile every time I buckle up! I wear it both on my hips for mid/ low rise jeans or trousers or at waist level for culottes or skirts as I guess I am an S but sized up for this added flexibility. I have the pink too and that is worn just as much. The perfect accessory to highlight a neat waist and complete any outfit. Thank you Kettlewell Colours, can we have a few more colours now please? Very beautiful and well-made, this bronze tone is just as pictured and will go great with casual and dressier outfits. I want to most of all weigh in about the sizing in hopes it will help anyone who may be, like me, confused by sizing guidelines and unsure about what size to get. I am a US size 4, size 26 or 27 pants. From what I could tell from directions on measuring, I thought I should definitely go with Medium. I consulted someone on Kettlewell’s U.S. Customer Service line who after reviewing the website directions too, felt Medium was correct for me. At the last second I decided to chance it with a Small, even though the directions pointed to Medium. I’m so glad I did as Small IS perfect, and Medium would have been much too long. This is my long-winded way of saying if you are around my size as well, Small will be right for you.- Violet (07/07/2022)

Have been contemplating buying a size down however my other one after not loads of wear is showing signs of cracking near belt holes and i appear to be allergic to the belt buckle. I am so happy that Kettlewell decided to make this belt in size XS! I have a 25" waist and the size Small belt was always at the 5th or 6th hole, leaving too much material flapping at the end. The size XS fits anywhere from the 2nd to 4th hole, depending on the rise of my jeans. The addition of a second keeper is fantastic; it secures the end of the belt for a neat, secured look. I have a 28 inch waist and found the XS size to be the perfect size to wear lower down on jeans and perfect for round the waist too. I finally ordered this belt in amethyst, after having it on my wish list for a year. It did not disappoint. The color is gorgeous and the belt is very, very well made. It will give my outfits a great pop of color and some extra shine when I need it. I also wish thinner versions of the belts were available. I'm yet another autumn who is happy to sing the praises of the bronze belt! It's a beautiful colour, will add a bit of interest without being too blingy. The quality of these belts is excellent, I already have red coral and mustard from previous seasons. My only comment would be that their width and general chunkiness means they're best for jeans and trousers rather than for anything delicate. I'm sure I will get loads of wear out of the bronze belt, and for years to come. The price is quite high, but it will last and last. A combination of mastering the 'half tuck' and buying a pair of jeans that were too big in the waist meant I had to invest in a belt. I now own 3 Kettlewell belts including this metallic silver - I have the peony and iris blue in the plain leather. I'm really pleased with my silver belt - I think the colour will go lots of colours and is not too shiny. I bought the size L. I wanted a belt to sit below my waist and this fits really well on the 2nd or 3rd hole. It I wanted a waist belt the size M would have been fine. My hips are a lot wider than my waist. The measurements on the site were very helpful. My silver belt has 2 loops which don't show in the photo but they are attached to each other.- Joanne (07/08/2021)

Like other reviewers, I was a little unsure about spending this amount on a belt but the bronze metallic colour goes with just about everything in my wardrobe and really livens up a lot of everyday outfits so it should be worth it over time. I am now dropping hints to my OH to buy me silver. Don't delay on this, but do be mindful when ordering the size and follow the guidance re which hole to measure from. Gorgeous belt. I dithered for a while as I have never owned a good belt but after seeing others wear it on the Colour Club I decided to try it. I'm between a medium and large according to the size chart. Purchased the large as many of my jeans are mid rise. It works well with both mid and high rise so I'm happy with the size. I bought the LL as I wasn't sure that the L would fit. It would have been fine but having the LL is probably better because I look better wearing belts at low waist or hips. I love it, after dithering about whether to get one or not. I have bought the Bronze Metallic belt, inspired by the Autumn Look Book. I wouldn't have purchased this belt without seeing the photoshoot, as it is different from my usual style. I love it. It pulls together and adds a more finished look to lots of Autumn outfits. I have the pink metallic version of this belt which is the second I have bought (the other is in suede). It is great that Kettlewell offer such a variety of belts in a range of unusual colours. I make a lot of use of belts to enliven an outfit and to improve the appearance of my proportions but find the choice offered by other retailers is very limited indeed. So thank you Kettlewell. This is a simple, yet stunning belt. Silver is a great neutral which will go with many items in my winter wardrobe. I also bought this belt in Electric Blue which is a WOW color, and Bright Amethyst, which is on its way from 'across the pond'. These belts are a luxurious splurge since I only seem to find black and not many colors elsewhere. I am a US size 2 with a very small waist and the size Small fits on the 4th hole out of 7 with mid-rise jeans.- Eileen (06/10/2020)

Again Kettlewell has outdone themselves with beautiful high quality belts which are different than any belt you can find in an “ordinary” shop. In the pictures the belts look quite shiny and I was a bit reluctant to order the Poppy and the Green because I don’t want to look “christmassy” all year but they are stunning! I order the Gold, Poppy, Green and Brown (autumn colour) and I am a Spring. I have no defined waist but these belts are subtle in sheen (or of course you can make them stand out easily too by wearing opposite colours). Needless to say I’m keeping all 4 belts and I couldn’t be happier!! So easy to “up” an outfit with these!
