Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewI ordered it in my usual size L but, having read the comments, then ordered a size LL to compare. The LL was the one that I kept as it fit perfectly (even though I am usually a M or L and have nothing else in LL) The colour (Pewter) looks a lovely shade of brown with everything that I have so far worn it. I love this jacket as a more casual option to the Rachel and it was a bargain in the sale
I bought the large as the guidelines suggested Medium would be too small. Large was a good fit for me. The fabric is lovely and soft. I tried Pink Gerbera although it was not listed as a Winter colour. It seemed practically identical in colour to my Pink Raspberry Rachel jacket. For this reason I have returned it as it was too similar - I kept the Raspberry denim jacket instead.
So delighted to add to my Roxy collection during the sale. Like other reviewers, I needed to size up (from XS to S), and the sleeves are still too short- it's more of a Roxette- but easily remedied by turning the cuffs back to make this look like a style feature. Sandstone and pewter are terrific neutral colours for autumns.
I love the Roxy jacket and have several in bright Spring colours. I decided to try a black one as I have to wear black when I volunteer at our local Theatre. However, it did not suit me and was smaller than my previous Roxys so I sadly returned it.
I love my Roxy’s. but this one was much smaller than my others and had to size up to XL.Love the fabric but why use silver buttons on an autumn colour?Good price in the sale
MY first Roxy jacket. I had to buy a Medium which is a bit too big for me but the small which should fit my frame is just too tights under the arms and across the chest. I had similar issues with the Chloe jacket. The fabric feels lovely though I have to wash it first before I can wear it in case of colour transfer which is disappointing. I was surprise to get this in the sale so it made the purchase better value.
I was disappointed with this jacket because it is too small all over, under the arms and across the hips - I have many items from Kettlewell in small but this was much too small by some way, so will return it
Pear shape: Not for my pear shape. Tried with shoulder pads which definitely improved it. Fabric thin, stretch, brush finish. 100% polyester. Ordered for the colour exquisite warm stone. Buttons not as shiny as I thought they would be which I was happy about. Not for winter unless worn with a coat over. Am 30 inch rib cage but buttons did not close over my bust by quite a few inches so not for my body shape.
I love the Roxy Shirt Jacket. This was my first purchase, and unfortunately, the small was just too small. But, it was high quality and a lovely color that for winters is more like a darker emerald. I had to send it back because I just couldn't button it and it would have been way too tight around the hips. Size up is a good recommendation if you aren't sure of your size for this jacket.
I love this Roxy jacket in coffee. Been considering one for ages, but dithering over which colour to choose, so when I saw it was reduced went for it. I take UK size 12 in tops to accommodate my bust (32F) and I'm 170cm tall - the size M fitted perfectly in body, length and sleeves. I might not have chosen the coffee colour unless it was in the sale but in fact it suits well and tones well with my other autumnal clothes. It's fairly light weight - certainly not as warm as my Chloe jacket. The material is beautifully soft. Shame it's being discontinued- I'm late to the Roxy party but would like another!
