I search continually for knee length skirts with pockets and so I was pleased that Kettlewell produced this skirt. It is comfortable and flattering, the length is perfect and of course the colour is gorgeous. The pockets gape slightly which is a shame but as I need pockets I overlook this. The dipped hem is unnoticeable on this skirt and on the lobelia colourway which I also bought. I returned the cornflower Carly as the medium was longer and larger.- Trish (14/06/2022)

Tale of two skirts- I have 2 Carly skirts - one in Flint and one in Cream .I have worn the flint skirt so much during the warmer days we have had here (York ) it is a lovely light weight of fabric and has an almost linen look minus creases! Being a good autumn neutral it goes with everything I have top wise ,belt wise so very versatile - I love it just as much as my Geri skirts . I decided the other day to wear the cream skirt for the first time - and it at first appeared different the pockets seemed in a different position- so I placed the 2 skirts together on top of each other - exactly the same - same hemline etc…same pocket insert size as well. So tried on with light underskirt and wore for a while with weights in the pockets - that worked and now the cream skirt looks and feels the same - I just think the pockets needed flattening / using a bit ?- maybe washing it would have also worked ?? but I like wearing new ! Anyway super skirts very neutral autumn shades so already have had lots of wear - look forward to some deeper autumn shades next summer - they are definitely a spring / summer weight skirt .Geri ‘s sister for the warmer months ! Oh I am 5 .3 tall and the skirts hit just below knee - although I did size up as I am between a L and LL - because I did not want to expose my knees !- Jeanette Passey (22/05/2022)
