I just love the Elle cardigan. I bought 3 last year and felt I could not justify buying any more this year - but now I have 6! Merino wool is just right for me. The v shape is great over my large bust and can be worn open or buttoned. Length perfect to be worn under a jacket if you want. I love the Ellie cardigan and have several now. I buy the large for slightly relaxed fit as although I have narrow shoulders I am quite busty 32G. So easy to slip in a couple of small silicone shoulder pads to balance the bust and pear-shaped hips. I like the Pearl buttons as I think it helps give a slimming vertical line but I know some people would prefer same coloured ones as the cardigan. I hand wash them in cool water and they wash well. Love the Elle cardigans and now have a few of them. This one is also beautiful and suits my short waisted body well. Because I like a fitted look I sized down from my normal medium to a small. Not too chunky but lovely and warm. A staple in my wardrobe. read more »

I love Kettlewell. The Elle cardigan fits wonderfully, is very flattering and soft. I also ordered it in bright blue because I liked it so much. Kettlewell is spendy, but I think worth it. They also run small, so I've always ordered a size up. I'm an 8 here in the States, but I'm usually a Large with Kettlewell. read more »

This is a very lightweight wool cardigan - excellent quality as always. I think of it as a three-season cardigan - this isn't something I would wear as my only wool layer in winter, although admittedly I feel the cold. It will be brilliant in the UK Spring/Summer/Autumn to put on on cooler days (or even wear alone over a camisole as styled, as wool is very breathable), and in winter I anticipate wearing it over a merino crossover or under a Rachel jacket. Praline is a lovely deep colour and a brilliant Spring neutral. I am 5'1, standard size 10 and wear my normal size of a small. Definitely not itchy - incredibly smooth and fine wool. The V feels fairly deep on me - not in terms of modesty but if you have a scoop neck top it does not protect that area. read more »
