Hailey merino. Dark navy The Connie merino has been my favourite for several years but I think it’s met its match. A little longer so maybe slightly more casual and less fitted, but I love the Hailey merino! It’s soft, not itchy at all, warm and gorgeous. I bought this as I need more of the colour silver in my wardrobe. It is such a versatile colour combing with practically all the clothes I have as a "Deep Summer". It is a casual jumper and beautiful quality. I think the sleeves are just a bit on the slim side so I will only be able to wear very thin tops such as the silky tops underneath. read more »

I am so glad I purchased the Hailey Merino. For me it is a perfect fit and very soft - comfortable and not at all itchy. I loved it so much I also treated myself to the orange, kingfisher and french vanilla - indulgent but am hoping they will be in my wardrobe for years as vibrant staples of my autumn colours. These have gone up by about 14% since I bought two in January to wear in a Chicago winter. I also ready had one that I bought during the pandemic. Sizing is all over the place. The two I bought in January are both two different sizes of S and M, but they both fit. The M in one was huge on me, but the other fitted. With the recent purchase, sadly I had to send it back. It was French Vanilla, and the M again was too big and, at 5ft 8ins and a large Size 12, the sleeves were just far too long and wide on me, and too wide on the hips as well where the slits are. The S fitted me okay, but then I just couldn't justify the purchase which for nearly a hundred pounds - and when on me because of its light colour I suppose - was somewhat transparent so my fern green trousers could be well and truly seen through the jumper. I just didn't like that look. A beautiful colour. I was warned by my consultant years ago that the lighter the colour, the more chances of this transparency happening. But I love the other three I now have - Citronella, Rustic Orange, and a colour I can't remember - Indian Spice or something like that. All wash well in the washing machine on cold and an 800 spin. read more »
