I love these wraps, this is the second one I have bought. I was very hesitant before I bought my first one as I thought it might be too short for me, however, it is just the right length and I have worn both many times. I returned the Short Cascade Wrap due to the (in my opinion) cheap look of the fabric. Also, the Dark Ginger color was slightly different from the Dark Ginger color of my Ruched Skirt and the Cara V Neck (probably because it's a different fabric). Otherwise, it's a nice wrap that fits true to size. I instead ordered the Shelley Wrap and I am much happier with that. Nicer fabric, in my opinion.- Christine (13/07/2023)

I usually don't give reviews but I am so grateful for all your helpful posts so the least I could do was to share this. I am very glad I took the leap. This was my first purchase. This piece sits so well on me as if it had been tailored. Very feminine, lovely short waterfall over bust. I have a 90D bust, 167 cm tall with a long torso.This piece with a playsuit, a top with a high waist skirt or higher jeans makes me feel all put together. I feel like a princess. Having a feminine frame is not easy to dress, so I am very grateful. The stone color was not my best spring pallet color but works well with a true spring colored top. I've bought and love several of these wraps and the short tie wraps in the last 2 years, but sorely disappointed with this year's versions. The regatta blue in Medium is 1.5 inches shorter than the product details and cut in a slightly different shape to previous years so the front now flaps below bust level. The short tie wrap in regatta blue and Fuschia rose were also 1.5-2" shorter than advertised, leaving little to actually tie. All being returned.- CLM (24/06/2023)

Leaving this on behalf of a friend - I bought her one in Pink Grapefruit a year ago for a birthday gift. Today, I met her for morning coffee and she was wearing it. She tells me that she has all but lived in it and absolutely adores the pop of colour in her closet which is full of cream, taupe, caramel, and denim - both her husband and son have commented on how great it looks! And, as I know only too well from my own wraps, they launder beautifully and never lose their colour. I asked her if she would like another for this year's birthday and her eyes lit up ..... I ordered the Cascade wrap and the Shelley wrap to try out and much preferred the Cascade. The material is fine but has enough weight to hang well and is very flattering. ( I thought the Shelley material was too thin and clingy). I am a HS 16 but sometimes wear 18 in tops due to large bust and the LL is perfect. I am not sure whether I’m a summer or a winter so just buy colours I like and the kingfisher is a lovely vibrant blue with a slight green tone to it which is perfect for me as I’m not keen on a lot of blues. It matches well with quite a lot of colours in my wardrobe and packs reasonably well with few creases so great for holidays. Now that I’ve bought this, I’ll probably stick to this shape for future purchases in other colours.- Lesley (15/06/2023)

I didn’t like this at all in stone, the fluttery bits in the front are an odd length and the fabric is extremely thin and synthetic and clings in a bad way. I should have ordered large instead of medium but I’m not sure that would have made much difference. Maybe it would be nice in darker colours on a thin person but it looked horrible on me. I’m quite booby and that made it odd too as there’s no way to fasten it so it has to either be pulled over each boob which frames them in a weird way, or just hang directly under your armpits.- Sarah (05/06/2023)

I love the style of the short cascade wrap and it suits me much better than the STW. Great for an evening cover up, especially when travelling. I'm a deep Autumn, and regatta blue is not meant to be in my colour palette, but it's a beautiful colour and goes well with several of my dresses and tops. I love the Short Cascade Wrap, as it has a soft romantic quality that some of Kettlewell's more straight/classic cuts lack. If you have broader shoulders or wide bust, this falls in a beautifully flattering way to enhance curve and add subtle waist emphasis. I especially love that it is short enough to not overwhelm dresses or maxi skirts. I would love to see it return in even more colors, or in a heavier-weight knit (like the Aurelia Cardigan) for a winter version!! Bought 2- Apricot in LL and violet in M. the LL is too big but totally works. the M is also working for me due to the stretchy fabric. in the future I will purchase L. the fabric is so soft, very nice and the cut spot on. very flattering and goes well with my camisoles. Delighted with my short cascade wrap and mallard is a fabulous colour ! It fits perfectly and is a neat length at the back and not too long as I am 5 ft 1. The L fits me well as I am a U.K. 14 but verging towards the 16 at times with weight fluctuations! It also covers strong upper arms without looking too tight. This is a really useful wrap that can brighten and lift many outfits. Great for covering the arms in those of us past a certain age without adding bulk or the matronly look of a cardigan. I bought this to take on holiday and it will get lots of use. II suspect that I will be buying more. The apricot is a lovely colour and looks great over my light brown maxi dress. I love short cascade wraps. They sit at a nice length at the back and I love the look of the folds at the front . I have tried a short tie wrap but returned it as I don’t find it works for me with the two trailing points at the front . I would wear it tied for a particular outfit, like an occasion dress, but not otherwise. The SCW in cosmos purple is lovely with the colours I normally wear and I particularly like it because it’s a darker colour. I’d like to see lots of darker colours for wraps as I like to wear the lighter colour underneath n a camisole or similar . I haven’t actually worn it yet (too hot), but it will be useful to wear over various camisole tops. I’m a True Autumn and bought this wrap in Musk Rose as an alternative to rust and true red. It’s great for summer outfits and pairs well with the lighter and deeper items in my wardrobe. I wanted a wrap to wear over a couple of summer dresses I have and chose this beautiful mallard colour. It is a rich and deep hue and goes beautifully with both dresses but it will also be a useful cover up for some of my other autumn outfits. Bought two of these lovely cardi/wraps to wear to a wedding over a summer dress as couldn’t decide which colour would suit the whole outfit. I had hoped to buy the more muted musk rose colour but it had sold out in L hence this geranium colour which is more like salmon pink. I wasn’t sure if I’d like this much brighter hue of pink but it’s really lovely! The wrap is super soft and very flattering and I’m keeping both this one and the second dove grey one which I’ll use more often as will be useful with work clothes. I sometimes buy medium but bought large in this style and glad I did as sleeves quite fitted. I purchased 4 items from Kettlewell recently. I was introduced to Kettlewell by a blogger and purchasing something sight unseen is hard. However, reading all the information, looking at color palettes, and taking some of the quiz's helped me in my decision making. I had wanted a short open front cardigan (lightweight) to pair with several of my outfits, that was not white or black. I purchased the Musk Rose and it is a lovely color that goes with many of my items in my closet. I should have sized up to Large as it is a bit tight on my arms - but my arms are not thin! This year I bought apricot which looks lovely with aquarius and I'm sure will look equally good with flamingo pink, apple and many other of my spring colours. I bought the navy in a small. I’m a size 8 , 53 kgs and 1m50 ( 5’). I find the length of the wrap perfect for short people ( falling to hip level) and the intended three quarter length sleeves are great for short arms. Shoulder width is fine. Looking at the demographic and regular comments in reviews I think you should consider either a dedicated petite range or clearly flagging which of your items would work well on petite frames.- Sarah (26/01/2022)

The short cascade wrap is my favourite item and I love it in the darker basic shades so that I can add colour with a scarf and/or the shell top underneath . This works for me and I love the style , quality and fit .I have never found a wrap like this from anywhere else , so the cost is worth it . I should add that the sale price really tempted me to stock up , so I am delighted on all fronts .Thank you KW! I am a 14/ 16 depending on the style and I opt for the large so that it skims my strong rather than slender looking arms ! I wear this both over a dress with ice pink in the print and plan to wear it with the matching ice pink lace camisole as a lovely cool summer top. Short Cascade Wrap Dark Olive. This is a wonderfully useful colour for me. It covers & drapes in a feminine manner. The elastase stretch makes it endlessly wearable. Is it mean to be 3/4 sleeve? I love the short cascades. Please don't discontinue them. I love them equally as much as the short tie wraps, I have several of both styles and wear them equally as much. The short cascade has just a touch of casual feminity, looking good over a sleeveless V or long vest in the summer, or over a silky scoop in a contrast colour in cooler months. I am a Deep Blue Autumn and bought the Dark Olive short cascade wrap to complete my "Dark Olive set". I have a Geri skirt, Darcy V, and short sleeve V in Dark Olive. I also have complimentary coloured tops (mustard semi scoop, moss Davcy V) and this means I can mix and match to my hearts content. The short cascade wrap is lovely - I am a slim 5'1" UK size 6, but the wrap doesn't swamp me, it is feminine and elegant and it works so well with skirts and dresses. I have completely lost track of how many cashmere cardies and KW short cascade wraps that I have - depending on season, they are my go-to cover ups for everything from dresses to jeans. I have hesitated on the Heliotrope for some time though, knowing I really wanted a purple but not sure how well this shade would suit as a very Cool Summer. I need not have worried as it is a super shade! I also took the opportunity to purchase a fuchsia one as my current fuchsia is the full jacket style which, at five foot tall, is long on me (but lovely and warm in the cooler months). Great buys. I ordered two short cascade wraps just to try , thinking that they might well not suit me! How wrong I was....I chose Breton Blue as I like deep colours and I already had an item in Sapphire and it looked fairly similar. I also ordered navy as that's my safe colour and I love to add interesting scarves in bright shades. That works well for me. Well the fit is lovely and suits my short 5 ft 1 frame and I buy the large because it allows for items underneath or even slight weight gain without looking lumpy! Both colours are lovely and I am so glad that I took the plunge and ordered them . As other ladies have said, they would go well over tops with trousers but also nice cover ups with dresses, so very useful items. The seams to enhance the fit at the back are what sets them apart from other wraps I have bought from other stores. Thank you, Kettlewell! This was the perfect fit for me. At under 5ft I usually only purchase from petite ranges. It is cut small and the sleeves are a perfect length. Nice and light for summer to hide flabby upper arms. Being short at the back not a problem as I had to wear my yellow top tucked into my skirt. I would like to have a couple more of these. It’s a perfect fit & length on me (5’8”, size small/uk 10) & the 3/4 sleeves are lovely for late spring/summer. I was originally worried that it would be too drapey on me & that there would be too much fabric, but it’s just perfect! Brilliant extra layer over my sleeveless tops but looks equally good over long sleeves with a bit showing. I would say that it matches the Periwinkle colour on my summer colour palette, which is perfect for me. It's soft and comfortable to ware and accentuates my figure eight shape really well. I’m a size 10, summer, & bought this is a small. Wasn’t certain about the style as I don’t like clothes which are too drapey or have superfluous fabric, but spurred on by pics of others wearing it I took the plunge! Wanted a light weight top to wear over a cornflower blue midi linen jumpsuit for a wedding in the summer. Decided the Chloe & Rachel jackets would be too structured but thought this might fit the bill. And it does! The size is a perfect fit for me, the length just right - just slightly below my waist at the back - & the colour is perfect - light, bright & fresh - & goes brilliantly with the cornflower, as well as other items in my wardrobe. This is my first short cascade wrap - I've admired women of all ages, shapes and sizes wearing them in the KW Colour Club. I'd say I like, rather than love this item. The colour is more useful for me than "wow" - a nice neutral (I'm deep autumn). The style is a little bit too drapey for my taste, but I think the wrap will be useful over dresses in the summer. I have a straight, angular upper body and so the tie wrap works better for me. This is my first wrap. I was concerned that the cascades would overwhelm my full busted, tubby apple shape and delighted that it looks quite good on me. The length is perfect for me, as I'm only 5'3". I think it will work for a variety of outfit types and occasions. This is a beautiful wrap. It is my second of the cascade wraps the first being the Long Cascade. I must say that the long one is a lot more substantial in fabric thickness, quite remarkable. While I am also busty and that fact can account for loss of inches in the hang, this shorter style isn’t flattering on me. The cut is too high for my long torso. I’d expect that other would have the same issue. I’m sure those that are taller than me (I’m 5’ 5.5”) with shorter waists would still have better luck. These are the best things since sliced bread for me. My main figure fault is that I am size 12 only 5ft2in but with a large bust for my frame. I have discovered if I buy these in small they magically give the impression of a neater look, trimming down the top half, falling in at the waist, so creating a waist. Really works for me. Have three now so I can use with lots of different outfits. Even getting things out the wardrobe that weren't originally working for me, result a great look. I used to buy the mid cascades, then a colour I loved was only available in the short cascade. Total convert! I sold my mid cascades and replaced them with short cascades, buying more as I did so. I’m 5ft 5in hourglass and the short cascades suit my frame so much more. I now have 8 colours I think, maybe more! They are so versatile and make adding a pop of colour so easy, or I can use a neutral like sultry navy/flint/chocolate to tone down a brighter outfit. I’m S/M but opt for the M in these to give me more room when wearing over other layers. Flattering and versatile! Over the Summer, I bought 2 different coloured wraps (gorgeous Ganzi Purple & Tango Red) in LL (I’m normally a size 16) and have worn both of them, most weeks, either with a dress for work or over a T- shirt and paired with jeans. Smarter yet just as comfortable as a cardigan, they drape beautifully and achieve the impressive feat of making me look like I have a waist! As a bonus, they also have 3/4 length sleeves! PETITE FRIENDLY These wraps are an absolute staple for me. During the Summer, I still enjoy wearing white boho maxi dresses but many just have thin shoulder straps and in my 50's I need a little more cover up. In the Winter months these provide an easy lightweight cover up for a sleeveless shift dress. But, I always purchase a camisole for underneath which make a modern twinset to wear with jeans. I have purchased these wraps previously but a few years ago now and it's clear to see that there have been improvements made to this garment, the cut, the fit, the fabric are all improved. I love the colour and will find this really useful for cooler summer days, particularly with dresses. Be aware that at the back it is quite short and tops underneath it might show. I have been searching for a jacket to wear for a low key church blessing ( postponed due to the pandemic) nothing too formal. My sister suggested the cascade wrap - I ordered it not expecting it to look right with the dress but in fact it’s perfect. Because of it’s structured shape and seaming it is more jacket than cardigan but still giving a softer look than a jacket. It is not the same navy as the background of the dress but looks fine. I am a Kettlewell fan, but until now I have steered away from the Short Cascade Wrap as I thought they would be too short for me. I’m a fairly average height. So, I thought I would experiment and bought the Wrap in four colours. Wow, wow, wow,wow! I love them! The fabric and fit is lovely. They are really comfortable and work well with dresses. Yes, they are a bit short at the back, so be aware that if you wear a top and skirt/trousers it’s likely that some of your top will show beneath the Wrap. But you can use that to your advantage if you combine your colours with typical Kettlewell style. I’ve not found it a problem, and I really love the look with a dress. I am a Kettlewell fan, but until now I have steered away from the Short Cascade Wrap as I thought they would be too short for me. I’m a fairly average height. So, I thought I would experiment and bought the Wrap in four colours. Wow, wow, wow,wow! I love them! The fabric and fit is lovely. They are really comfortable and work well with dresses. Yes, they are a bit short at the back, so be aware that if you wear a top and skirt/trousers it’s likely that some of your top will show beneath the Wrap. But you can use that to your advantage if you combine your colours with typical Kettlewell style. I’ve not found it a problem, and I really love the look with a dress. It’s so flattering and gives me the illusion of a lovely waist, which I haven’t really got! I thoroughly recommend them.- Alex (26/06/2020)

I've worn the Mid Cascades for years, but always thought the Short Cascade would be wrong for me, being long-legged and short-waisted. I was wrong! It is absolutely the perfect wrap for wearing with a dress when a structured jacket is too. well, structured. It gives a graceful shape, and breaks up the long expanses of fabric in the dress, while remaining soft. It also works well with skirts: my Breton Blue Short Cascade is perfect with Kettlewell's bright emerald skirt from last summer. I thought I would try the short cascade since it is so popular on KW Club and looks so lovely on almost everyone...except me. I loved the oxford blue color but it just didn't work for my body type. I am square shape..equal dimensions of neck to waist and waist to feet. The back of the short cascade hit just at my waist, leaving my butt exposed. Maybe if I had ordered an LL instead of L it may have fallen a little longer and felt more comfortable, but then again the seam on the shoulders would have fallen off my shoulders. So for now I will stick with the mid cascade wrap of which I have a multitude. But I do want to note that the oxford blue is a beautiful color. It can look very dusty on the website but in actuality it is a rich dust blue. I was shocked to see how well it coordinated with the lime green sleeveless V. I’m 5’2 and a winter and chose the mallard short cascade wrap as I wanted something to add colour and interest to neutral T shirts . The short cascade wrap has rapidly become one of the most useful additions to my wardrobe because it’s so easy to wear and brings a look together effortlessly. The length on me is perfect and is very feminine as it comes in at the waist and flares out elegantly towards the hips. It goes well with both v-neck and scoop tops underneath and the 3/4 length sleeve is great for petites. Despite the flowing design it doesn’t have too much material which again is great for petites. It’s got the smallest hint of purple - just enough to be interesting next to my skin. Not dull at all. Fit is great in medium on my 10-12 size. This is the first time I've tried this wrap. It's lightweight and the length is perfect for my petite frame (the mid-length wrap would have overwhelmed me). I bought the Ganzi Purple and Fuchsia colors and since then also bought another one in Chinese Blue (which hasn't arrived yet). This is a great layer to add over short sleeve and sleeveless tops. I’m 5’2” size 8 and its hard to find cover ups that are the right length on me. Im a hourglass and this cascade makes the most of that including the 3/4 arms (I tend to push long sleeve up a bit as they are generally too long). The cascade front is not too fussy just the right amount not to be ‘frilly and frumpy’. I've had quite a number of these over the years, from their early days of overlocked edges and dual-sizing to the more recent heavier hemmed design. I'm a Vibrant Autumn and the Biscuit colour is spot on to the House of Colour "Beige". It's a great neutral and will go well with so many of my more vibrantly coloured tops. I have four of these wraps now. They are all size medium and a little small for a medium but this suits me fine. Please continue this style as it is so pretty and turns a casual look into smart. I'm not very tall and it is good to have an elegant style that looks good on my small frame as well as tall ones. I love the style of this wrap in that is a seasonless piece and can be worn year around. I ordered my normal size of a medium and was a bit disappointed in that the upper arms fit a bit snug. I have average size arms, so I was a bit surprised. It is certainly not enough to return the item, (I live in Texas) because I really do love the versatility of the style. I found the fit a little tight - (I'm a busty UK size 10) - particularly across the shoulders and upper arms, so unless you are small busted with slender arms, you might want to size up. I absolutely love these wraps! I rely on cashmere cardies, and these lovely wraps to add pops of colour to my wardrobe of navy, white, and silver. This would have been my fifth wrap - my current collection consists of ice pink, fuchsia, silver, and moonlight blue. I was looking forward to receiving the Soft Teal, but I found it a little too jade in colour. My mistake - I normally check on the main colour palette but on this occasion ...... I do like this wrap and it will be useful but I think it would have be more flattering if it was fuller at the back. It would give an appearance of narrowing the waist and hips if it stuck out a bit more instead of sitting on the line of the body at the back when it is full at the front. Just my view. The wraps are light, very soft and comfortable to wear. My XS fit quite true to size, but the sizing is also forgiving due to the stretch of the fabric and flowy style. I ordered this in True Red, Periwinkle and Pansy, but returned the last one because I couldn't match it with my current wardrobe. The colours are an exact match to my true red shirt and scarf, and periwinkle legging (all ordered this season). As a Bright Spring, I use True Red as a bold accent in my outfit and Periwinkle to soften a look. This is my second purchase of the short cascade wrap. I bought the clover colour last summer which was fabulous and this summer I have gone for the iced aqua. These wraps are so useful for adding a little warmth to a summer outfit, especially in hot countries for evening wear. I usually purchase X-Small from Kettlewell but because I read so many people describing themselves as small-framed and because this is a loose cut anyway, I sized up to the Small. I am 5'9", 125lbs. 34DD bra (California sizing) with somewhat broad shoulders for reference. The material is incredibly soft, like all Kettlewell products I've purchased, and is a good layering piece. I am OBSESSED with this cut! I also bought this in Soft Teal! If you are just as interested in Style Analysis as Color Analysis I believe this cut is 'Ingenue' mixed with 'Ethereal' aka an 'Angelic' which is my type! Ordered the Flamingo Pink colour but it is more Coral than pink - I'm wondering if there was a mistake made in the 'mail room' - no indication on the actual wrap or the plastic bag it came in to say exactly what colour it is. Having said that, I like the colour so will keep it. I love the style and the fit, I'm 5'3" and the longer length ones don't suit my height. Hooray! I had a gift of a bright yellow designer bag from my daughter in law, and this canary yellow is as near as I could ever hope for to match it. The wrap itself is short on the back rise, so can hang away from the body, but nipping in the side seams seems to to make a big difference. There are seams down the back and the hems are finished differently. I ordered 4 of the cascade wraps as was undecided as to which colours I wanted. I kept the silver which I haven't worn yet but it's a very versatile colour and the green (summer but I can't remember the exact colour name) which I absolutely love. I'm a high street 12 and ordered the medium. My arms are big which means I won't be able to wear a long sleeved top under as the sleeves are a little tight. I find that although I love the idea and styling of these wraps, I can only wear them over a cami, since they tend to ride up and stand out at the back if worn over even a light top or dress A larger size, which I tried, just is 'Larger' and still behaves badly at the back. I have found that I can improve this by steaming out (Ironing with steam) the back seams and panels, which suggests that the wrap is a little short in the back rise. Having said all of that, I have several, with matching camis (where available) and they bring skirts, trousers and jeans right out of the doldrums and into a stylish outfit- Jackie Worrall (06/07/2017)

These are wonderful, I have to buy petite clothing normally, these are just right for the shorter woman, sleeves are perfect and the colours and fabric are fabulous. I ordered 2 short cascade wraps, one in soft white and one in raspberry. They arrived almost the next day, beautifully packaged. The raspberry wrap is a gorgeous colour, true to the brochure, and is a lovely fit. I am 5'11' and size 16/18 - the back comes just past my waist. I have lots of these short cascade wraps. They are so useful in summer to wear with skirts or dresses when it is hot (I live in Italy). They are lightweight, drape nicely and provide just the right amount of coverage when in air-conditioned places. They are a very flattering shape and just the right length. I think I am addicted to these. I have a green one from its last incarnation, when the fabric was finer, as was the fit, as that one is size L. However, now I get a M (as with all my other Kettlewell products), and I just love it. It's so useful - a great weight, easy to carry if you need to slip it off. I have it in silver (bought to go with something), navy (bought to go with everything), purple (to go over a floral sheath dress for a wedding and looks fabulous!) and serenity just because I loved the colour. Because my drawers are full of Kettlewell tops in summer palette colours, I know that it will go with everything! I am 5'8" and the length at the back is perfect, but I also love the side view - incredibly flattering as the peak of the drape has a visually slimming effect. Bought this in pink and it is is very pretty and feminine. Lovely light colour for summer and very flattering. I love this wrap. Even after only a week, it has become a staple item of my wardrobe as it goes with everything - I have the ivory colour. I LOVE these wraps! Originally I rejected them because of their length and thought I needed greater coverage. However, now I've lost a bit of weight, they suit me better, hang well and still hide lumps I'd rather conceal. They look elegant and are practical; can be dressed up or down. I have them in ochre, cassis, sand(?), flint and fern and I'm coveting other colours too when I can justify the expense! Another staple that I have in many colours. Only criticism is that they do bobble a little. Used for Dance cardis with a front knot, summer frock cardis when wool is too hot, bed jackets. So versatile, Keep on making these as I don't know what Id do without them.- Helen George (06/02/2017)

I prefer the mid cascade and have this in many colours, but this short version is lovely on cooler summer days over sheath dresses, and is a great option if you want to cover your arms. I have been buying the various versions of this for the past 3 years and I now have a collection. It is my 'go to' cover all accessory and I love it. I prefer the cut of the version from a couple of years ago without the double insert panels at the back - (bring it back - and I'd agree with the other comment about the replacement design being 'wide on the hips) !) ..... but as an item it is so versatile, especially when combined with other colours underneath in tops. I have lots of these. Absolutely essential summer cover up. I sometimes knot at the front too. I hope these keep being available as there are colours I'd like but don't have yet. Much better than a "normal" cardigan. Strangely in the office it seems smarter than a cardi, but for leisure wear it seems more trendy and more casual than a cardi. Typical me! JUST when a style has almost sold out, I 'discover' that it suits me and I'd like more colours! Recently bought this in one of the few remaining colours in my size - ochre and pebble grey, and I love it! Although I'm hardly slim and willowy, it looks great and is light enough to pack for holiday or a summer outing for a cover-up if it gets chilly, withough swamping me or feeling heavy. My hopes were high for a bright three quarter sleeved summer cardigan but I was disappointed with this product. It was not the right blue that I needed but I also felt the way the fullness of the "fall" at the sides made hips look ver wide and therefore not flattering. Bought this as a light cover up over vest tops when on holiday in warmer climes. The navy shade is not quite as dark as I'd hoped but overall the wrap has a good shape and fit and will work well with other clothes I own. If you tried and rejected this wrap last season, I suggest you try it again. The quality of make has been vastly improved and the fabric seems better too. I purchased it in Light sand, small size, and whilst last season's wrap was short in the back rise and the seams 'puckered' this one is fine. I have order the Soft white and Pink Ice, and just hope that they are not 'last season' when they come....or I will be returning them. I think that it is a bad thing that Kettlewell do to sell 'last season' alongside new stock without making customers aware that the item they buy in one colour, may not be the same in another colour. I have a few of these from seasons past but just got another in chocolate as it's a neutral colour. What a great surprise - my new one has fully bound edges rather than the overlocked edges on all my previous models! And the fabric feels much more substantial than it used to be. Last year I ordered a couple of wraps. Felt they were expensive and didn't have a good edge finish. However, I kept them because of the colours Last month I ordered one in purple. New style and feels heavier ... delighted So ordered one in light sand and another in deep salmon. Tried this wrap again, but once more the back rise too short and so the back hem stands away from the body....unless you knot it at the front, but the ties are not long enough to do this neatly Tried it also in M size to see if this helped, but it was then just too big. The shape and style of this wrap is really sweet, nice shaping at the back and fabric sits well...but it is too SHORT at the back, so stood away from the body. I am finding that some other garments are like this, but inconsistent... one might fit beautifully but another ( the same product, maybe different colour} fits differently.- jackie (30/05/2014)
