This was my first hetta tshirt and I love it. It is a pleasure to wear. I vacillate between medium and large with Kettlewell, and I normally buy large if the style is fitted. I do like the Hetta tops, cosy, comfortable and a bit stretchy. So after reading comments about the Grey Sky shade top for Summers I decided to order it for myself. It is the darkest grey I have, but it’s not a ‘harsh’ grey shade, I’m pleased with it.- Carole (12/04/2024)

I love these shirts! I wish I had one of each! Although I’m only 5’3”, the length, in my opinion, is an excellent choice for modesty. I am always conscious of stretching or bending over and not feeling covered. The material is so soft and warm and yet not so heavy that it becomes suffocating in very warm weather such as the kind I live in, in South Texas! I’d love to see even more beautiful bright colors or shades of colors! Maybe even in a 3/4 length? I have bought the Hetta in other colors (Laguna, flamingo pink, iced pink and ginger) and sizes since I’ve lost weight. Currently, I’m at 155 lbs and while I have LL and L, I like the fitted look of the M. The other sizes while looser still look nice on me, though. I’ve purchased a number of other tee shirts from here but these are at the top of my list. I think I’ve become a Kettlewell fan!- Dee (06/04/2024)

This was my second Hetta, but my first item in ice pink. I wasn’t totally sure it would be a colour I would reach for as the red/pink end of my wardrobe is a bit thin. However it has been used loads and I am very happy with the coolness of the colour. I think this is only my 2nd/3rd Hetta inspite of owning more than 200 Kettlewell pieces! It feels lovely. Worn for first time this week on holiday! I love this colour - please do more Kettlewell 🙏🏻 Have washed it for first time also. I hope it washes ok - my other had to be washed multiple times to get stain out and it looked quite old after. I am new to Kettlewell and this was one of my first purchases so I wasn't quite sure of the size to order. However I am a standard 12 so ordered medium. This particular tee is quite a close fit but very comfortable and soft, so is perfect as a base layer. I think if I wanted something a bit looser I would go for large.- Lynn (15/03/2024)

I love this colour (Grey Sky). It is a perfect neutral on me (True Summer). The material is really lovely and soft and not too clingy. I usually like my tops to fit very closely so I ordered the XS at first (I am a size 8-10 on top) but the fit was EXACTLY correct and I was worried that if there would be any shrinkage it would become too small. So I settled on the S which is nice but it relaxes just a little during the day as the fabric gives a bit. Maybe I should have gone for the XS. I'm not sure. I don't usually like crew necks but this is nice. I usually like scoop necks but I don't love the Silky Scoops as I find them a little too thin and clingy and show underwear outlines in the lighter colours. I would love to see this colour in another kind of scoop. I don't love wearing bright colours and would love to see more Summer-specific neutrals in stock.- Suzie (16/02/2024)

Super Sapphire in the cosiest, snuggliest fabric- a perfect addition to my casual wardrobe. As I wear this top (and her Stripey cousins), tucked in, as a base layer, their length is actually an advantage. Loved the colour as very rich. This is one of few longer body tops available so fits me well. I have been a long time kettlewell customer and have always loved the colours and quality. love this top. Its the 3rd one I now have. It is so easy to wear with my skirts and jeans. Easy to wash and dry. It doesn't change shape. Its great as an under layer or top layer paired with a belt. I have all the colors in my palette (I do both autumn and certain springs) and then some..... I will automatically purchase one of these in my palette if they are available because the stretch is perfect: flattering but not too clingy, the fabric is delicious against the skin and high quality, and the neckline is perfect for older women who still have kept their figures but do not want to expose upper chest skin. Lovely practical long sleeved t shirt great for laying and a good length as I have a long body and find some tops too short. I have a few of these and they are the best quality I have come across and such a lovely range of colours to choose from. I wasn’t sure about buying the Hetta as thought not great for my body shape. I suit v necks more but I can honestly say I love it as a layering piece. It’s so soft and feels lovely next to your skin. This is another Hetta Tee to add to my collection. I love both the Hetta Tee and the Stripy Pima Tee for their fabulously soft, warm and cosy fabric. They are a staple garment for me in the cold winter when I wear one almost every day as a layering piece under a warm sweater. I would dealy love to see a roll neck in this tee made of the same warm Pima cotton fabric. The fit for me is not tight, I'm a small size 12 and take a Medium, I could size down to a small but prefer the loseness of these tees. I love these tops; stretchy, soft and cosy to help keep warm. I do have a few Hetta tops and chose the Soft Orchid to coordinate with my Blueberry Crush Athena skirt. It’s quite a bright pink for me but suits nicely. I might not have worn this top with the skirt yet, but have with navy trousers and gilet. This is a lovely pale top ideal for layering in the Winter months. I have several Hetta Long Tees and I couldn't resist this one in Pink Ice, one of my favourite cool Summers shade. I love the length in the body and particularly the sleeves as I have quite long arms. Love, love, love!! Beautiful color and quality is fantastic. It’s a fitted long sleeve tee as the description states, so size up maybe twice if you want a looser fit. Honestly, I will wear this top with my scrub pants. I’m a health care provider and prefer fitted tees to pair with my pants. Ordered two of these tops having decided to try them as an alternative to the silky tops. Very pleased with the colours which are always Kettlewell’s strength but I also prefer the fit around the neck. I need a close fit and I think these tops will hold their shape. My first Kettlewell purchase, 3 Hetta Pima long tees in Lagoon Blue, Flamingo Pink and Aquamarine. Think I’m a ‘winter’ but I veered into the spring colours too, they’re so lovely and bright and I was drawn to them. I love all 3, they’re very cosy and a lovely fit. This is my second Hetta Pima Tee & I hadn’t appreciated until recently, how lovely & snugly they are for winter wear with the beautifully soft supima cotton & modal mix & the long sleeves. I have a charcoal & a sapphire hetta now & they are both superb tops to wear alone or layered under jackets or knitwear (with a skirt or trousers of course!) The sapphire one is a beautifully bright blue for a winter & is fabulous for brightening up my Winter, winter wardrobe! I was a bit alarmed to see that this one looked considerably smaller than those from previous years, but it still fits well and the sleeves are long enough (very important!). I tend to size down to an XS because I like tops to be fitted, especially when layering. I love the Long Hetta T. I usually buy two of each colour as I wear one in the day and the other as a pyjama top. It makes a great pyjama top because of the length. I was so pleased to receive my tops today after waiting some time for them. I’m afraid I am having to return them although I love the colours Cassis and Laguna. I was so pleased that Kettlewell were at last doing tops that may be long enough for me but sadly not. As it says in the sizing notes that tops increase by 2cm I assumed that as the medium is 68cm the XL would be 74cm but this is not the case. I have measured them and they are about 71cm in fact they are the same length as long sleeve tops I have which are not described as being extra long for tall people. So disappointing. I have ordered a silky one as a replacement and am hoping as it has elastene I will be able to pull it down.- DT (09/09/2023)

I have many, many of these Hettas, and love them. They fit well without being clingy, are flattering to the figure, and feel rich on the skin. They are my autumn, winter and early spring staples. I LOVE the Hetta! Soft but shaped enough to hang well. Perfect for layering in the winter, but I’ve even worn mine this summer due to the rather autumnal weather. I have deep berry, navy, charcoal and hot pink - not recently purchased. BECAUSE, although I love these tops and want more of them in my gorgeous winter colours, the neckline has now got so high, it’s unflattering on me and how I use them has become limited. PLEASE can we have some scooped or V necked versions, or at least lower the neckline a bit. Once you do, I’ll definitely will order more 😁- Helene (19/08/2023)

I would love this T shirt to fit me, it is soft and good quality. I ordered Saphire in XL, as I am a size sixteen 36F bust, and do not like them too snug, but this was far too big across the shoulders and under the arms. I also ordered a size LL in Pillarbox Red (excellent description of the colour!) for sizing, but had the same problem. I do not understand this - other Kettlewell tops in LL are too small for me, why is this one too big? I am tempted to try the Hetta in size L, but the body fit in LL was perfect. Lovely material, much prefer the cotton to the silky version. As a petite it is far too long for me, I might try and shorten it or just put up with it. I bought the Hetta Pima long tee in colour Moss. It isn't a colour I'd normally have gone for but it is in my "autumn" palette, and I saw it styled with the Ponte Leopard Skirt in Earthy Leopard in the catalogue, and it looked really good, so I decided to give it a go. It was a good purchase as the colour suits me and it looks really good with the skirt. I styled it with a brown denim jacket and later purchased the willow scarf in brick red to go with the outfit too. It has received many compliments. The Tee is a really good fit and the fabric is soft and comfortable and it has washed well, so I'd definitely recommend it.- Jane (10/04/2023)

I love this top, and have several colours. As a dark summer, I was tempted by the deep berry, it's a stunning colour and when I tried it on, it was the first time I have really had a 'wow ' moment ! I have bought several of these Hetta Pima long tees over the years and are delighted with them. They wash well and are very comfortable to wear. I am a size 8-10 and buy the small which fits really well - fitted to the body but not too tight - put on and forget I am wearing it! I love the latest one for the colour. I am a bright summer and have lots of colours to chose from - just a question of pennies!! I also like the long length as I am long bodied . Lovely top and the burnished gold is fantastic. I originally bought small but sent it back for a medium and Im glad I did. The medium is a bit longer, which is good for me, being tall. I also found the small to be a bit clingy which is alright if you want to wear it underneath other clothes, but for the price, I wanted to be able to wear it as a stand alone item and not just for layering. Can you believe it? After finding Kettlewell and the Colour Club in September 2020, I have finally purchased my first Hetta! I am a huge fan of the Silkies, but decided to try the Hetta for its cottony warmth and “hugginess.” Well, dear Kettlewellies, you were so right in recommending this cozy, long-sleeved top! I sized down as you recommended, and the Small works well on my 5’3” 114 lb. frame. I can even wear a SRN underneath because the cotton has a fair amount of “give” in it. Granted, it is long on me, but I tuck it way down in my trousers. And granted, the sleeves are a bit long, but that just gives me the excuse to double-cuff them and show off the color of my Silky underneath (yes, perfect for Kendall Cuffs!) I purchased the Sapphire Hetta to serve as a backdrop for the beautiful Blue Giraffe Scarf, and I just love this combination. This is my 5th hetta pima but my first plain one. They are soft and cosy. Yes they are long in body and sleeve but i like that. Mostly i wear them tucked into jeans and they are not too bulky to do that. They keep my abdomen and back snuggly. I have also started wearing them over leggings as mine are long enough and then wear a long cardy. I think this is slightly longer than the stripy ones. Moss is one of my favourite colours you do. As a blue spring, I wasn’t sure this color was really appropriate for me. I love these Hetta LS tops because of the feel of the fabric and fit. I’m only 5 ft and a size 14 P so I seem to fill out a M perfectly. It’s semi fitted and although I have plenty of rolls to cover up, it tends to cover them nicely. I tend to wear all my tops out, never tucking them in to pants or skirts …. I like the deal over my hips. It’s the acid yellow color that I really love this time around. "Long" tee, OMG no kidding! I'm 5'3" and this goes PAST by behind and almost to mid thigh! I will probably only be able to wear with leggings, or tucked in it is so very long. I bought this top in the lemon yellow, pine and pink peacock colours. They are all beautiful and because the fabric is so stretchy they don't cling to my hips or anywhere else. They are a bit long for me (I'm about 5ft2) but still wearable. My only complaint would be they are thin and the lemon yellow one is very see through. I could see the white colour of my bra and the some of the lines of it through the fabric so I would need to wear something underneath or over the top to conceal it. They wash well, never need ironing and come in such beautiful colours. I love the Hetta. It's my weekend hug. A great length for me at 5'11 as I find most Kettlewell tops off limits if I don't want chilly kidneys (I'm a size 14 and large is a good fit). Easy to wash on a 30 wool wash I even put it in the tumble drier in the winter on a delicates cycle (naughty I know, but makes life easier when drying inside takes days). They can stretch out when wearing (some colours more than others) but once washed return to their size. As someone who is tall I can cope with that as it is wonderful to find something that gets bigger for once rather than always starting off too small! Far superior to any other of this type of top available elsewhere in my opinion and of course the choice of colours is just glorious. I received the Apple Mint Hetta Long Tee as a present. It has taken me a while to put a review on as I wasn’t really sure what I thought about it! Mixed review. Unusual for me, as everything I have bought so far from KW has always been 5 stars, but sadly not on this occasion. On the plus side Apple Mint is a gorgeous colour and the material is a really soft cosy fabric. So given the usual 5 stars for quality. However, on the negative side (sorry) on my 4ft 11 frame, even the XS that I ordered was far too long, both in the length of the sleeves and the body, The shape of the neckline also does nothing for my larger bust. Because it was a present, I felt obliged to keep it, and I do wear it, as a base layer only so for me personally not value for money this time. As the name states these Pima Cotton Tees are long which is why I like them and find they fit with my lifestyle. At 5’1” they keep my back completely covered when bending doing gardening, Pilates, walking or cycling. I also prefer them as a base layer under sweaters. I have just received one of these tops in brown and one in cassis. I really like both the colours. The cassis seems to come up slightly shorter on me than the brown. I came online initially to order a second brown but it’s sold out in my size which I am so disappointed about. I love the length of these tops, although for me I would love them even more if they were another 3cm long. I buy the LL to get the extra length but really an L would be a better fit for me. Teal does not love me as much as I love teal as it can be too heavy and dark for my complexion. But this Emerald Turquoise is a wonderful teal alternative! It has such a lovely clarity and brightness. So this is the part where i beg.. PLEASE offer this color in other tops and even in patterns for future styles. Hetta is a much loved shirt and much praised in het KW colour club on facebook. Understandable, because Hetta is a good basic shirt made of soft cotton with a nice basic model which makes it a very versatile piece. Hetta is somewhat longer than most longsleeves. I don't think it is very long, just over the waist (my length is 5'8"). It does not shrink. Ordered an S, because it would come wider, according to some ladies in de KCC. My Hetta did not, however. I’ve always been a lilac/purple/lavender girl … but, my sister advised me to wear pink now my hair is silver, and I believe I’m a ‘summer!’ I kept returning to this top and finally ordered it. Actually, I do like the shade on me, it has a warmth to it and I am pleased I bought it. I always buy Medium to suit my size as a 14. It will even accommodate a thermal top underneath. I love how cosy these Hetta tops feel, with the extra length covering most of the bottom. I knew immediately where to look when recently I wanted a crew neck, long sleeve t-shirt, as I've been a Kettlewell customer since 2013, however this is now the only style that fits that bill (other than the silky, but I wanted the weight of a T), so I went ahead and it fits beautifully on the shoulders and body, but Kettlewell please don't forget us petites, as on me the sleeves are about 3 cms too long and the length is to the top of my legs! I might have reviewed these previously but I had to emphasise once more how much I adore these tops! They're soft, comfortable, simply shaped and give a pop of colour at the hem, neck and sleeves. I'm short but slightly on the chunky side width-ways, but no matter - I layer them with my growing Evie and Connie sweaters and feel wonderful. I am hoping for more wintery greens, nautical blue and indigo in these fabulously versatile tops. My recent purchase is in Sangria and Brick Red and I love them both. I'm tall 5.8 and it's certainly long, but I find ruching it up a bit more flattering anyway, also tucked in there is no chance of a draft getting in for those who feel the cold. Love the long arms though I often struggle to get cuffs to meet my wrists. Note to self, size down in this fabric as I find it gets quite a bit loosed during wear, especially in the arms. Very happy with this. It’s a beautiful cool red in a soft, cosy fabric. The fit is close without being clingy and the sleeves and body are a generous length. I'm a recent, but now committed, convert to the Hetta tee. Having avoided these tees for years for fear that the crew neckline would be too high and the fitted style uncomfortably tight, I decided to try one for layering at the start of this season. What a revelation! The fabric feels soft, light and natural, and despite the fitted style, the top is comfortable and - quite undeniably - cosy! Great quality and I know it will wash and wear well for years. I make no apologies for the fact that I now have 9 of these Tee shirts. I look out for new colours all the time. They machine wash well at 30 degrees and I have not noticed any shrinkage. They are useful all year round for layering. I am a size 10 and they fit perfectly, true to say that the sleeves are long but this suits me and covers my wrist bone which I prefer. This in amber, along with its companions in three other colours has been my layering - and in the warmer early autumn days, without other layers - companion for the last year. Yes sleeves are long but that's better than too short. It is soft, cosy without being heavy and I have had no wash problems with it but then I tend to just dry them on the Aga. Ah, this is now my favourite top, and I can't wait to snuggle into its tangerine softness when I get home! Depending upon the style, I can be a Kettlewell XS or S, and in the pima long T, I took a small. I am 5 '8', and I love the body and arm length of this T. It is also one of the few Kettlewell tops which are not too wide at the shoulders for me, which is so nice. It has washed nicely, and skims the body, neither baggy nor clingy. A great mid weight t shirt. It has decent length sleeves and is long in the body without being baggy. I wear mine all the time as it is versatile. Wear under suit jacket for work or with jeans at the weekend. Very tempted to get more. French Grey is a versatile neutral. Trying the Hetta for first time. I had medium in Persian Red. Very cosy and warm but at 5'2" it is really too long on the body and sleeves - I can just about get away with scrunching the sleeves up. The body looks silly scrunched up and takes away the clean line that I prefer so will have to have it taken up. The thought of making Petite 😍shorter lengths would surely benefit all round saving vast amounts of wasted fabrics. I have several of these tees because I wanted the colors that are difficult to find. I like them very much, although I don't love them. The fabric is such that they need to be ironed in order to look nice. I prefer a brand from Nordstrom that come out of the dryer beautifully--but they rarely have the colors I need. Reply from Kettlewell - If you wash on a delicate cycle and dry flat, they don't require ironing. It's often the fast spin speed which creases garments.

This is my first Hetta and I've already ordered more. I was in 2 minds about the colour (I'm a winter) and felt it was a bit soft. But I tried it on with black and navy and and that convinced me it belonged in my palette. It is sooo soft and comfortable. The sleeves are quite long, but I just push them up. It's also long in the body but I I like to wear this quite casually so its fine. For comparison the fit is very different from the silky scoop which I've also just bought. This is the green that I have been searching for! It's gorgeous. As a Bright Winter, I am always looking for the warm greens that are in my palette. Have not worn yet….just getting cool enough this week, but fits as expected when I tried it on. The mushroom color will be a great neutral for me! I will wear as a layering piece or with stretchy exercise bottoms for exercise and around the house. It is too form-fitting in a size medium for me to wear it with jeans because I have a high waist and I don’t tuck in my tops. If you want to wear untucked over jeans, you may want to size up or make sure your jeans have a smooth waist band for the tee to go over. Invisibelt is a good option. I do like the cosy feel of this top and have bought several to use this winter in preference to Silky Crew. I’m a summer of non specific type with silvery grey hair & dark glasses! I’m a fairly casual, classic dresser I suppose & love these tops! I bought the wisteria one last year & found it a really cosy layer under cardigan or jacket. Lovely soft fabric, long enough sleeves, great length, flattering crew neck (for me at least!) & a gorgeous colour for us summers! I bought it in my usual size - small - & could probably have sized down for a snugger, more fitted layering top but it would have been a bit cramped across my shoulders. This time I bought the mushroom, a colour I’ve never dared to wear but have been inspired to try by seeing it worn by members of the Colour Club, & cassis, to pair with my cassis & laguna Sylvie culottes, my mole Roxy & soft blackberry Chloe. Really pleased! The mushroom is a lovely neutral which works with so many summer colours from blues to purples to teals & the cassis is a really rich, slightly muted maroon red.- Marieke (22/09/2021)

The fresh green colour really packs a punch! At first I thought it was overpowering, however having tried it in combination with other spring colours, it works. It looks especially beautiful with my cobalt Roxy jacket. I do find the sleeves on these Hettas too long and I am fairly tall at over 5'7". Reply from Kettlewell - If you find the sleeves too long, I can suggest washing on a delicate cycle followed by a tumble dry. They come out perfectly :)

I bought a second Hetta Long Tee in Rose Madder which is a beautiful colour for me, I am a Summer. I bought it in size Small as I am between a 10 and a 12 and it fitted perfectly. Lovely and long in both sleeves and body. I am 5.5 inches with a short body and long legs. The Hetta t is a staple in my wardrobe it is comfortable soft and lovely to wear. The range of colours are great so this summer I bought ice blue and mushroom. The mushroom is a sophisticated neutral classic colour. I would love to see other colours like navy soft white and the eucalyptus colour (the same as in the sweatshirt) . I've loved these tops for a while now. Sadly returned the Pink Geranium (a double star colour for me usually!) as it was somewhat see-through, even with a flesh coloured bra. I could wear a flesh cami under it but that will be too hot in the Summer. This seems so strange as I have paler older Hetta Pima Long Tees (pale peach, pale apple, yellow) which don't have this problem. I also returned the Geranium Pink Pima Scoop Tee with the same problem in the same order. So I'll stick to Pink Fizz in other styles for now. Also exploring silky tops instead.- Suzanne (06/06/2021)

Beautifully soft and comfortable top, in a lovely heavyweight jersey which feels very good quality. Washes very well. Note - the arms are longer than most Kettlewell tops. I'm 5'11" and most KW tops are slightly too short in the arm for me, but not these ones! I have four, plus two striped ones - charcoal, Ganzi purple, red, cassis, navy/pink and green/white. The purple is almost more a lobelia purple/blue than a true purple (and is a really great colour). Please don't change the generous sizing!- Galzini (08/05/2021)

Love these- I wish there were more of these long length tops with V neck. COLOUR-Ganzi Purple is much more blue than Pansy, it would not be my best purple as a ‘warm’ but keeping as useful contrast with warmer colours as I reach for a hetta top so often because they are so comfortable- have several hettas in plain and striped. SIZE fitted but roomy and they stretch a bit after worn and carefully washed. I’m a UK 14 and started with hetta in L that is now too baggy. I buy M and even S now. I’m usually wearing as under layer and like the longer length for flash of colour at cuff and hip - not too long even though I’m only 5’2. Sadly I’ve found the soft fabric can ‘hole’ pretty quickly where jeans button hits my apple shape (my poppy one holed after 1 day). Not a fault in the top but not as durable as other KW tops. So take care ladies in your choice of jeans fastenings if this problem sounds familiar to you! Hasn’t put me off- so hard to find longer tops in nice colours.- Kary (30/04/2021)

Perfect for sensitive skin! The Hetta Pima Long Tee is super soft, semi-fitted and feels like a dream to wear with my sensitive skin. It is a very flattering feminine shape and for me, as a light Spring, the colour range is wonderfully complimentary too. I have three already and have just ordered two more! They layer well with cardigans, jumpers and gilets. Even after washing and being tumble dried this T shirt feels and looks just the same, a big advantage when time is short. I love the Hetta Ts and have several. The cotton is lovely and soft and washes well on a delicates wash. They are great worn on their own but I tend to wear worn layered with a mock turtle sleeveless underneath. The light aqua is a great spring/summer crossover colour and is a versatile shade. I was worried it might be too bright for me as a summer but its perfect. The sizing is generous as the material is very stretchy. I'm am 10/12 and wear a medium in all things Kettlewell as I have a long back and arms and need the length of a size M. This is my third Pima Long Tee. They are so beautifully soft and wash well. The quality of Kettlewell is excellent, although not cheap. However, I would rather pay a bit more and enjoy long lasting garments. The colours remain steadfast too. I always enjoy the Blogs and get some great ideas from them. I had my colours done a few years ago, but Tonally (cool, clear, light) as opposed to Seasonal. However, I am basically a Summer and I certainly notice the difference when I don’t get it quite right. Colour has been important to me throughout my life, and having been born and reared in Asia which has a tradition rich in fabric colour and texture, I was delighted to discover Kettlewell! This top I've purchased in three colours and love it. Tactility is important, and the fabric feels smooth and silky. Being older, I prefer colours closer to my face, no plunging styles for me - so this style allows for that, as well as for dressing up or down with scarves or jewelry. Pairs well with cardigans, blazers, suits, jeans. Knowing one's own colours can take ten years off you, brighten your skin and hair, bring up the spark. I suggest all go for colour analysis. As an instinctive artist, I intuitively knew mine all along, and it's done me in good stead... as well as my friends, whose wardrobes I have edited.... Once you put on colours that really suit you, you will never want to wear anything else. For me...the revelation came when I looked in my closet and put on a top that made me "literally" look really drab and sad. I bought this is amber because I couldn't resist the colour. I didn't regret it - I love it. Goes especially well with chocolate (especially if you add the chocolate and amber infinity scarf) and also dark green. It is called the Long Tee for a reason - it certainly is long, especialy if you're only 5'2". I wouldn't normally wear a tee anything like this long - it completely covers my bottom - but it is quite a useful layering piece if you ruche it up and wear it under a shorter top, so that you just see a peep of amber at the bottom.- Janice (16/11/2020)

I have several of these Hetta Pima Long Tees from past seasons. We The price is right and they are so versatile. Needless to say I love them and I hesitate to say that in the past I did not think the fabric held up well. I have holes in them from pant buttons and they didn't feel as substantial as I would have liked. However, I just ordered one to replace a old one. What a surprise to find the fabric seemed different. It held its shape better, washed better and the color seemed brighter. It's just as soft as the others but much better quality, in my opinion. This top is absolutely right for me in the feel of the fabric, fit, arm length and choice of colour. I haven't found it plain sailing figuring out what works for me as I am not normally an online shopper for preference and looking for Clear rather than seasonal colours in a catalogue and through a monitor has led to a few missteps. This pima cotton is very much my favourite fabric of the Kettlewell varieties (you can search by fabric type!) as it is soft, less clingy than the viscose mixes and much easier to wash and get dried (it takes a higher spin speed).- Michelle (10/11/2020)

I ordered this tee to go with the Rhoda skirt (purple floral) - but the colour does not match because the 'poppy' in the skirt is more orangey than the poppy of this top (perhaps because the fabric is so different?). I have a lace cami in geranium and a silky roll neck in red coral and both of those colours match the red in the skirt much better. My other issue was with sizing: the XS, while being a better fit on the body than my usual size S, was much shorter than the S (even shorter than my silky crew neck) and the sleeves were also shorter, which was not good for my long arms. The T-shirt is quite long in the body and arms, but soft enough cotton to ruche up nicely. It's close fitting without being clingy. Lovely and soft, these tees are feel as if they’re giving you a great big hug. I’m a size 14/16with a 40 inch bust so I tend to buy LL in Kettlewell as I’m not keen on cling, however with these I ordered and kept L to provide a close fitting layer. I’m glad I did, they definitely ‘give’ throughout the da and get a bit bigger . My first Hetta Pima but it is not my last! It's made from a lovely cotton blend fabric which is soft and slightly stretchy giving it a nice feel. The fit is perfect. It is a good length and can be worn as a layering piece, or on it's own styled with a scarf and wrap for a different look. I'm a size 12 and chose M but will size down next time because it did seem a little big for me. Lovely and soft, these tees are feel as if they’re giving you a great big hug. I’m a size 14/16with a 40 inch bust so I tend to buy LL in Kettlewell as I’m not keen on cling, however with these I ordered and kept L to provide a close fitting layer. I’m glad I did, they definitely ‘give’ throughout the da and get a bit bigger . I wanted a longer top for layering but also not a heavy weight fabric. This is perfect and so soft, and because of the slim fit it doesn't add bulk. I chose the amber colour which looks great showing under my autumnal coloured jumpers. I quite like rolling up the sleeves of my jumpers to show some of the colour of the t shirt underneath. It also works if the jumper is slightly shorter so the colour peeps out from underneath. Would recommend!. I'm tempted to order the juniper colour now. This is a wonderful top. It's the first Hetta tee I've purchased and I have to say I'm really pleased with it. The fabric is soft and cosy and the fit is good. I have so far worn it with my chestnut Chloe and it makes a lovely combination, but it will go with my cascades as well. I'm delighted with my Hetta tees, they're perfect under my Dina sweatshirt, just the right length to show at neck, cuffs and hem, giving the sweatshirt that extra bit of length I feel I need. I must admit I've overlooked them, thinking they'd be too long, but of course the stated length applies to size M, I got these in XS. They are also nice and thin, which is good as the Dina in size S is quite a close fit for me. I found myself wishing there was a matching neck warmer, and after a bit of thought and checking lengths, decided I can probably make a neck warmer from a Willow scarf, and have enough left over to make an infinity scarf, with hardly more effort than a couple of seams. The LL will fit a size 16-20 depending on your height. Stick to the product lengths over 62 if you’re over 5 ft 9. It’s cotton and more forgiving than the silky fabrics meaning it’s not so clingy. A very practical top to be worn by itself, under a gilet or even under a jumper. I’d describe this top as more of an english spring summer garment. Or a Dubai 4 seasons garment. I bought one of these last Autumn and have just bought three more. I am tall and it is wonderful to find a top that is long enough, but also fine enough to tuck in or layer without looking bulky. The fabric is soft and comfortable and very good quality. It washes well and easily, doesn't go hard, and holds its shape. The range of colours is much more interesting and flattering than I can usually find. I would buy more tops and t shirts from Kettlewell if they were longer (and in cotton/modal/wool, as I don't like viscose elastane) . Most of the other Ketlewell styles seem to be a bit on the short side for me. Thanks for a great t-shirt that I will wear for years (I am still wearing the cosy merino crew neck jumper from 3 years ago - please bring this style back - it is long, fits well round the neck and shoulders, which is rare for me, is warm, a great colour and has never pilled!)- Gillian (04/07/2020)

This was my first purchase from Kettlewell. I was unsure what size to buy. I read the review and decided on medium. (Also from a vanity point of view I didn't fancy being a large!) I am a 12/14, I'm not narrow framed. Size wise the medium is perfect. A nice fit.......not tight at all. The fabric is lovely. A fine gauge and soft. The tee is a good length. If you want it shorter you can sort of fold it up without it looking bulky. The longer length allows you to wear it longer depending on what you're wearing perhaps with a narrow belt. The colour is gorgeous. I will certainly buy from Kettlewell again. I'm still a bit unsure of size ( for a dress for example) but I'll just read the helpful reviews and hope for the best. My new T shirt is great & just what I wanted. The fit is perfect (I am usually size 10) and the fabric is lovely & soft & not clingy. I ‘d been seeing members of the Kettlewell Colour Club looking fabulous in various seasonal variations of blue and green and as I already had a jacket and a long cardigan in deep blue green I needed a deep blue to copy the look so went for True Blue. I really love this T shirt. It’s soft and comfortable and fits me well. It is very long but I expected that. As a petite I can either tuck it up or I may shorten it as I often have to do. I am a fan of the Hetta. What a great value for a hard-working Tee. It is not quite a crew neck and not quite a scoop neck. The length is a little long for me, but I can scrunch it up easily. The fabric is dreamy and it wears beautifully. It is not too clingy so I can order in my usual size. I have two and would buy more in my colors. I'm 5ft7ins and a 'solid' size 12 (with broad shoulders and 34D bust). Medium in this style fits me perfectly, perhaps partly due to the material - not too clingy. The same size in the silky crew neck fits much more closely (which was also fine for what I wanted it for). I'm sure I'll get lots of wear out of this comfy top. I particularly appreciate having a selection of Kettlewell tops which are a bit longer in the body and sleeves, as although I'm not particularly tall, I sometimes struggle to find this. I'm 50 this year and don't really like to flash my tummy at others when I have to raise my arms overhead!! If the tee washes and lasts well, I'd upgrade it to 5 for value - I'm happy to pay more for items if they are made well and ethically, and really last.- Catherine McCabe (11/01/2020)

These tee’s are a basic in my wardrobe. The colors are beautiful and the cotton is soft and comfortable without being too clingy. I wear them under sweaters for more warmth, as sleepwear and coordinate them with jeans, merino wraps and scarves. I am a size 14 and find the medium is a better fit than a large. They are priced nicely, especially for the amount of wear they get. I make sure to wash on cold cycles to maintain the color and I always hang to dry. I purchased both the poppy red and the Coral and the colors are really lovely. They aren’t kidding when they say this shirt is long! My one complaint is it is a bit on the flimsy side and is quite clingy in my bust area. I purchased my usual Kettlewell size of a medium, but found it to be more fitted than the previous shirts I’ve ordered. While I’m not returning them (I live in Texas), I think I will look to other styles that have previously been more flattering on my body type. I bought the Hetta Long tee in cornflower: spot on in size. I followed the advice and went a size up to a medium - although I am quite a slim size 10. It is a lovely colour for us Spring girls. However, the aqaumarine version was 2cm bigger all over, and the sleeves draped off the end of my already long arms. Clearly not suitable, so Kettlewell need to watch big discrepancies between colour of the same style. This sunny yellow top is so lovely, soft and comfortable to wear. It brightens up everything else in my wardrobe. I'm a 10/12 with medium boobs but the small isn't overly clingy; and is long enough not to ride up. I like the longer sleeves to show colour on my sleeves with jumpers on top. Would look great with long cami top underneath for layering. So happy with this I bought Cornflower and Cassis for wearing under other items in medium for a slightly roomier top. I was surprised to read other reviewers who said that the sleeves bagged, and that the quality is poor - I'd have to disagree. 2 of my tops are from last year, and have worn really well. The Henrietta is s great long line T . I am 5’6’’ size 10 and the small is a perfect fit but still big enough for a fitted look on a size 12 . It is long so covers the bottom but great for Winter . The fabric is soooooo soft , more so than other competitors such as Boden who also do a modal cotton mix . Lovely t-shirt! Good close fit but the fabrication isn't clingy and underwear detail revealing like I find some of the other styles to be. Feels great quality, super soft. I also like the long line and sleeves. The XS is proportioned well for me - tall (5ft 7"), size 6-8 body, but with wider shoulders than a typical size 6 usually accommodates comfortably. I love the semi-scoop/boatneck hybrid cut, which is pretty and versatile. I would love to see a short or 1/2 length sleeve version of this style stocked, especially for the warmer months!! Great fitting top. I'm tall (5'10") so this isn't "long" on me - it just sits at an ideal length on my hips. Sleeves long enough too. Please keep this style as part of your basics range as I find most of your other tops too short for me. It's more of a soft knit than a smooth T-shirt fabric, with natural stretch and a warm feel. I like the shape of the high neckline too, which is somewhere between crew neck and boat neck. The top fits close but because the fabric is quite thick it doesn't cling like the silky tops. I bought cassis and blue spruce and agree with another reviewer that the cassis is probably more winter than autumn, but a nice colour nonetheless. I was looking for something in shocking pink since it was part of a color combination that was suggested by my stylist. I am a large petite and the large size is perfect. I love the fabric because it is soft cotton and not as clingy as the silky tops. I probably could have gotten medium but I prefer bigger rather than form-fitting. The color is beautiful. I was very surprised at how it tends to light up my face when it is not even one of my 100% colors, no matter with what spring color I tend to layer it. The length in body and sleeve are perfect. My quest for a good long-sleeved tee is over, and this model is an instant favourite! The fabric is of superb quality, very soft and warm while being breathable. It has more body that some of the fabrics used in other designs, which makes it more flattering on me as I'm quite bony - but that's just personal. Quite loose fitting, and a softer fabric than some of the more structured tops I’ve had before, such as those with a double layer at the front. Long length, so warm as a layer over the lower back. Long arms, which is lovely as things are often too short in the arm for me. The shoulders are just close fitting enough to fit under a dress, as I often wear my dresses as a pinafore in winter. The shocking pink is a gorgeous light, strong pink. The neck just sits on the top of the collar bones, which I like because scooped necklines don’t suit me. Very pleased with this top. I was so excited to see that Kettlewell were producing a longer length top for winter as I have lots of the long length sleeveless vests and love them. I normally find the tops too short so the addition of the longer length is very welcome. I find the quality good and have not experienced the sleeves going baggy although I can see that they might do so if pushed up the arm and stretched (maybe need to look at this for next season. Could you use same material as vest top?) Seems to wash well so far. Now that we have a longer length long sleeved top may we have more colours please?- Christina Jones (22/09/2018)

Sorry but I just do not think that this top is good value for money. The fabric has poor recovery so the sleeves go baggy really quickly. The fabric is soft and the arms and body are nice and long, but the fabric is floppy and falls short of what I expect from Kettlewell.
