Have admired this but, although for alpaca it is not expensive, it was a bit out of my price range. So I was delighted to see it in the sale. However: it is much more beige than the cream colour in the picture, and even more annoyingly it is 60% acrylic! I suppose this was my fault for not looking at the product details but it is headed “alpaca wrap” which is a bit misleading. I will be sending it back as I don’t like manmade fibres but I have to say I normally love Kettlewell products. read more »

Having read a number of people comment on how big these are on petites, I was quite nervous of purchasing .... I am just over five feet tall and a size 8. But this is a perfect size on a petite if you like wearing a throw in lieu of a coat or jacket. It measures 33" from my neck to the back hem edge .... Just a few inches below my derrière. Sleeves fall about three quarter length and so perfect. I tend to wear with a slim fit jeans, long sleeved tunic or sweater ... Or a pencil skirt, knee boots and a light knit polo. I was fortunate enough to get a Mallard colour which had come back into sale stock so plus for colour, which is gorgeous over aquas and duck egg blues, and plus for price. Am now seriously considering the grey to wear with my silvers and pale pinks. read more »

I had my eye on this shawl for a while and bought it in the sale. the quality is superb and it is lovely and cosy. I like the fact it is soft without being fluffy and itchy. I work from home so have this over my office chair to keep warm rather than turn on heating. I also travel and it is lovely and light to put in a computer bag and wear on a draughty train. read more »

Very nice shawl, soft and cosy. But, I had to cut out the label, fortunately with no damage to the garment, as it is completely visible when you wear it. It is stitched at the side rather than the back. read more »
