Love the colours on this top but as I've said before, the sizing is all wrong on these tops. I'm normally a small in kettlewell tops but in this top, I decided to keep the medium. It's the neck that is the problem, it's tiny. I almost couldn't get my neck through it, it was that small. No such problem with any of the other stripey pima tees that I have. Maybe I was unlucky and received poor quality tops but I tried twice buying this top and both times I had problems with the neck.- Sandra (09/04/2024)

I love the colour, but I wish I had ordered the Medium size instead of Large. The material is very stretchy and baggy in the sleeves. As with other comments on this site, at least 6 inches needs to be cut off the bottom.- Julie (13/03/2024)

SIZE: Large COLOUR: Apple & Soft White
I like it apart from the length. I'm short-waisted and 5'5" and this top comes well below my bottom. I could easily cut off 6 inches from the bottom. I have kept it because otherwise I like it. Material has a nice feel, colour good and fits well apart from the length which always tends to be on the long side for me in Kettlewell tops. The Long Sleeved Pimas are my favourite Kettlewell tops and never disappoint in their length, soft touch and ease of use and care. I succumbed to new colours again this season, and this chocolate and cream one is calming and quite neutral. I love the Pima Tees and have several but couldn't resist another stripey one when the new colours were added. I love how stretchy they are and how well they keep their shape and at this time of year are perfect for layering. I love the fact that you don't have to constantly adjust the neck so that it doesn't slip when under v-necks or cardigans, this never happens, once it's on, it stays in place. Stripey Pima Tees are one of my favourite Kettlewell tops and this one is a lovely colour, I do like stripes and have bought others in the range before but this colour combination really works for Summers. I bought the same design in the Stella range and couldn't resist buying this one as soon as it became available. I have 3 of these soft comfortable stretchy Stripey Pima tops, and took a while deciding on the Chalk Violet & Airforce Blue one as I wondered if the colours would suit me, even though I’m a Summer. Stripes are one of the few prints I wear, and I have never seen a top with bright white stripes…so I jumped. The claret & white is a visually stunning combo for a Winter, and I love it. I bought a medium, and although the sleeves are long enough (finally!) it is quite fitted. I kept it instead of sending it back. I wear it layered. I am a US size 8, 35.5” bust, 29” waist. It’s difficult to gauge Kettlewell size because each style seems to be sized differently. Sometimes I need to buy a large, sometimes a medium (I don’t like anything too tight… so that’s a “me” thing) I have been able to find great Winter colored t-shirts elsewhere for much less, but never this color so it was worth it to me.- Laura (06/11/2023)

I love how cosy the Hetta feels. The material is soft and warm. This time I've seized down to small as I want the neckline to be a good fit. I have three Hettas already. They're all medium as are nearly all my Kettlewell clothes. They do feel baggier than ideal around the neck. They are quite long too. Nice soft fabric, long, long sleeves - I'm 5'10" with proportionate arms, and these cover my bony wrists -oh joy! The body length is also long - how to put it.... if this were all I was wearing, my modesty would be preserved at the front, but not quite at the back, so if youre shorter, this might be a tad long for tucking, if that's what you tend to do. I have two of these: the Chalk Violet & Airforce Blue is lovely - subtle enough to be suitable for formal wear, the Deep Claret and White is more in your face. I've just received my stripey tee and its a definite Keeper! Its fitting without being clingy and find the colours Red Earth and Antigue White really flattering. The length is good on me and the arms are fitting without being tight and this will be perfect either on it's own, or on cooler summer evenings, or under a medium thickness cardigan in the winter. (Would love it if there were a cardigan in Red earth for winter. I even like the neckline, which sits nicely and isn't too low and doesnt gape. I find it fits true to size. Theres a bit of give in it but not too much. Iin glfact it ticks all the boxes, for me anyway and now im going to have to try to resisst gettng another one.. I love the colours in this stripey pima tee and the fabric is very nice and cozy, although I think I would love it even more if it was slightly more structured as it seems to grow with wear. Lovely top. Nice and long which I need at 5’ 10”. I bought this in two colours to go under my merino ‘wrap’ jumpers from a few years ago (the camisoles just don’t sit high enough). I love the bright, light effect of the pure white background and shocking pink stripe, so many Winter colours are dark, so it makes a great change. For the cold winter-time I also like it for being long-sleeved, why do so many manufacturers think we want to wear 3/4 sleeves? And the crew neck is also much better that all the freezing cold V- and scoop necks!! For me I would prefer a shorter top as I wear them outside skirts and trousers, and this is very long, as are the sleeves, and I would also prefer this in a smoother fabric such as the one used for the semi scoop. But admittedly it is soft and cozy. KWC tops are expensive, but for the quality and colour ways worth it.- Anna (23/01/2023)

Yes, it is quite a generous fit so I would advise people to consider going down a size but this particular colour combination is rich and subtle, excellent for my dark summer colouring. I already have this top in two different colours so I know how soft and comfortable they are. However, upon receiving a new colour, it seems that they are a bit thinner than they used to be (as well as being more expensive) as I can now see my black vest through it. I'm happy to be corrected by Kettlewell, but the texture doesn't seem quite as substantial. I am a size 12 and ordered a S and XS, and prefer the more fitted XS, even though it's two or three inches shorter in the body than the S. I also went with the smaller size because they stretch with wear (washing brings them back to size). I love the extra length of these tops, though the sleeves are too long for me, but better too long than too short. Gorgeous colours, but at this price it shouldn't be at all see through.- CLARE (13/01/2023)

Stripey Pima Tees are my staple wear in the winter months because they are warm and cosy worn as a layering piece as well as simply worn on their own with a jacket or wrap. I always find the fit quite roomy for me as a size 10/12 and they are exceptionally long with long sleeves but nevertheless they work well. The colour combination, Moss & Soft Olive is just gorgeous! Why did I need another Hetta Tee? Because I can't resist the colours being offered. This sunshine yellow is my current favourite. But also the soft fabric is so cosy and comfortable these are my go to tees everyday. I am a size 14 and buy a size L for a relaxed fit, although an M does fit me more snugly. The sleeves of an L are always too long so I turn over the cuffs. They do stretch a bit when wearing but washing takes them back to original shape and size.- Debbie (05/01/2023)

I love these stripy tees. I have 4. They are long in body and sleeve but i like that. I tuck them into jeans mostly and they are not too bulky to do that and keep me snuggly and warm. I have recently started wearing over leggings with a long cardy. I dont like them outside jeans as i dont like the way they sit on the belt. I like the long sleeves because they add extra colur and warmth when worn under something. I am sure a small would be fine but i always get medium. They probably do stretch a bit but I have worn them loads and loads and i do hang them to dry which probably doesnt help! I love the warm rich Autumn colours. I have antique moss and stone, kingfisher and stone, moss and golden olive but my all time fav is the deep olive and treetop. If you bring it back I would buy it again as a spare! The only one i didnt like on me was kingfisher and cassis. Please can we have brown with orange or red? Also if the red earth was the other way round i would defo get it. Thankyou Kettlewell. Love this top, soft and cosy. I'm 5'6 but have a long body, so the long length is fine on me. I've already got the rosewood stripe and I'll get another autumn colourway at some point. This is a wonderful top. I love it and want to go back and order backup so I will have a extra in the closet incase this will not be made in the future. It is admittedly softer in color than I normally wear, but I popped a Dark Amethyst SRN underneath, and wore it with some blue-grey trousers and the KW Bright Amethyst Suede Belt. So happy! Please also note that I sized down from a Medium to a Small on the advice of my fellow Kettlewellies, and it fits comfortably close without needing an overlayer. Very pleased with my Stripey Pima Tee. I've previously bought LL but sized down to L this time as they do stretch with wear. They are very long in body and sleeves, but they are so cosy, soft and warm and I like the stripe popping out from jumpers and cardis so not a big problem. I am absolutely thrilled with my new French Navy and Damson Stripe Prima Tee (I am a size 12 but the small fitted perfectly). I have paired it with my Navy Rachel jacket and they work so well together “A match made in heaven”. The Tee is long so I wear it over my jeans and it shows below my jacket. Also I turn back the jacket sleeves to show the Tee sleeves and they look really good and give a polished look to the outfit. The quality is excellent and it feels so comfortable on. It does return to its original shape after washing but I feel I have to wash it more often than I need to because of this. Sooo pleased to see longer lengths in a top as a lot of your tops are so short as to be for petite people. Not everyone wants to layer garments. At 5’7” and 70+, such skimpy garments just look ridiculous on me as tho I’m wearing something meant for a child. I love these stripey pima tees. I already have the dark olive and treetop one and it's one of my favourite Kettlewell tops. This Kingfisher one is gorgeous too and both are perfect colours for a blue autumn. Quite long in the body and sleeves as others have said, but as I'm 5' 7" the length is perfect for me. I'm a size 10 to 12 and generally take a medium size in Kettlewell, but these tops are quite stretchy so I size down to small. So far they wash well and then I hang them to dry. They also travel well (roll up) and can be hand-washed if needed. Kettlewell always ships to the US quickly and the packages arrive on time. This lucky girl had Kettlewell vouchers for Christmas, so I used them to add to my wardrobe of clothes for exercising in! I chose this top for its style and colour specifically to wear with the Dina sweatshirt (I have also reviewed that). I normally take a size 6/8 and am 5' tall. Yes, this Tee IS long, but as I am long in the body, it's a really good base layer to wear with the Dina sweatshirt which is short and boxy. I do find that, in general, sleeves in Kettlewell tops tend to be on the skinny side (and no, I'm not boasting about my biceps here!), but this material is very soft and forgiving. I wouldn't normally buy a crew-neck top - I'm definitely a V-girl - but this works because the sweatshirt provides the V-neck shape. I can also confirm I have washed this top, and it hasn't shrunk. I am now VERY disappointed that I didn't buy the Tee in the duck egg colourway as well before it sold out! Let that be a lesson to you all.....- Devongirl27 (12/02/2022)

Blue Spring and chose the Bright Navy. I really needed a neutral striped tee and the ones I have are far too dark of a blue. The bright blue stripe it is perfect - it really brightens my skin and eyes. Really pretty when combined with the Island Green stole, a pair of jeans and KW gold metallic belt. I also enjoy wearing with the Marianne Cardigan in Nautical Blue and with the Rachelle jacket in Soft Camel. Really cute with the Maxi skirt , belt and scarf... The outfit possibilities are endless.. it is more than just a basic tee. I chose the small but have bought extra small in the past where I needed more snug of a fit. Unlike the silky tops, these will relax as you wear them but will snap back into shape after washing or lightly spraying with water and popping into the dryer on low for 10 minutes. I do like these Pima tops, my first being a v-neck style. They are light, soft and cosy, very comfortable to wear, not as fitted as my other KW tops, being more stretchy,. This is my first stripy Pima Tee (I have 3 plain ones) and I love it, it fits perfectly and the colours are lovely, being a Summer I bought the French Grey and Duck Egg in an XS as I find the Pima tops very stretchy so I always size down (I am a size 10/12) and this one like all the others fits perfectly. I've been very disappointed in this t-shirt. The sleeves are very long and after one wear it became so baggy that I wished I'd ordered the extra small size (I usually wear a size 10 top). Although the care label says don't tumble dry, the only way I've been able to keep wearing it is to tumble dry it, which shrinks it a little so it fits better. I love stripey long sleeved Tees and this is my absolute favourite. The colours are warm, gorgeous and flattering and the cotton is soft and cosy. I am usually a size 14 and the Tee in Large was plenty big enough and is long in the arms and the body. I might have been OK with a medium but am happy with this being larger than needed. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the material was. It feels really cosy and luxurious. The dark olive and tree top are a winning combination, I love how they look together, and. they are very flattering to my Autumn skin tone. I'm 5'5 and a size 16 usually, so got an LL, but I do think I could have sized down this time as it is a little bit baggy. It is a much longer top than I was expecting too - which I don't mind as I tend to prefer longer tops - but thought it would be good to mention it for others who might be more petite. It comes almost to mid-thigh on me. The sleeves are fairly long too (although I usually push them up anyway, so that is not a major issue for me, but might be something to keep in mind for someone with shorter arms). This top is just so comfortable to wear and washes beautifully. The body is quite long which suits my shape really well, I am long bodied and 5ft 8ins. As it does not have any elastase it does stretch slightly in wear but reverts to shape well on washing. I’d seen this top in French grey & duck egg on other summers on the Kettlewell Colour Club Facebook group & thought it probably had my name on it! And, oh boy, it did! I ordered my usual size - small - although you could probably size down for a snugger, more fitted look - & it is simply perfect! Like coming home! I bought two: Persian Red and the Olive/moss stripe. I love them both! They're soft, light, flattering and totally wonderful. Even though I'm a short overweight pear, they look fabulous - I'm short waisted but wear them in a ruched fashion, which helps conceal the lumps and bumps. I like the simple, higher neckline for autumn too - warmer than the scoops and great for showing off a necklace or infinity scarf. I am awaiting Geri skirt in dark olive and dark lime belt to make an autumnal outfit. Only comment is, could KW please consider making this in shorter length as well? I bought the Beaujolais stripe top in the summer. Then the navy and hot pink top. Today I tried the French Grey and Duck Egg top the colour didn’t work for me but it looks lovely. Now I’m ordering a winter combination which works in my cool pallet. These tops are made from a comfortable soft material which washes and wears well. The tops are great to wear under a jacket and with jeans. I’m a petite 12 and like the sizing It can either be tucked in with a belt (blue suede one) or worn in a longer style. Extremely disappointed the top is very clingy. I ordered my measurements for a 34-35" bust. It is more like a 33" bust. Very clingy. The sleeves are very long. If I order up a size I'm afraid the sleeves will hang down to below my finger tips.. I think it is the modal fabric, because the other fabrics without modal fit fine in a small.- SR (07/06/2021)

I have now bought 2 of these in kingfisher and blackberry. I am a size 16 and got the LL and they fit well. I am tall so really like the longer body length and good sleeve length- it is really hard to get long bodied T shirts. I would love one with a khaki/ olive green stripe or a red with white stripes! Having initially been delighted with this top it's now become an expensive mistake (£10 per wear!). After just a couple of washes it is now unwearable due to the bottom of the top having stretched so much. I bought a medium, the bottom of the top now measures 55 cm across compared to 40 cm in the middle. It may be best to size down to allow for widening after washing.- Fiona (15/05/2021)

Love love love the antique moss and stone - hope there are more warm colourways in future with stone instead of white or soft white. This softer mid tone combination goes with so many things. Seems to be same cut as Hetta but striped. I’m only 5’2 but still like the length and long sleeves in lovely soft fabric that washes well. Contrary to other reviews I sized down, I’m a Uk 14 and M is plenty big enough but that might depend on hips. They do loosen up a bit. Love my stripey tee! Perfect with the long sleeves in our South Dakota spring weather ;-). I am 33" in the bust and 30" in the waist and the medium fits very comfortably. Being short-waisted, it is technically too long but for a casual and VERY comfortable cotton top, I feel great in it. For more comparison to help you choose your size, I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. I thought Id try the striped Pima Tee as I love the plain ones. I don't generally 'do' patterns or stripes except in a scarf as an accessory but I really like this one. The summer/autumn crossover colours are not generally the best for me as a very cool light summer but the base of soft white makes this top light enough to work. I think this will be a nice autumn/winter top and I'm looking forward to seeing the new stripey tee colours that are arriving in the new collection soon. This color was outside my comfort zone as I typically wear corals, peaches, apricots, blue and browns. If you are a soft autumn with blue eyes I highly recommend this tee as it intensifies blue eyes and makes the skin glow with vitality. Who knew muted moss could be such a "wow" color! The tee is in my personal fav Prima which is so soft and comforting. The Length is a bit longer which makes it ideal for laying underneath other V-neck tees, sweaters and wrapped tops. I so want to like this, as the colour is really lovely! But it's just too long in the arms and the body for me. I'm 5'6", size 10-12, and I bought the Large as I didn't want it too clingy. I think I'd still have the length issues in a medium. Never mind, I'll save my money for another Monaco top instead. I also bought the Blackberry and Soft white in the Stripey Pima: I didn't try it on as it's not really autumn. Too dark and too much contrast. This is an excellent layering Tee for the winter months made from a soft cotton mix fabric. It's a good length, warm, and cosy and very stylish too. It washes well and keeps it's shape. I originally bought to go with the emerald mid cascade but find that it goes better with another colour on top - the light navy Chloe jacket looks good over it and I like how the longer sleeves and length means that you get it peeking out the bottom. This is a lovely top and the emerald shade is beautiful. My only regret is not ordering my regular size. I chose to size up to a medium (I'm usually a small in KW tops) after reading some reviews. It seems many had found this style quite a snug fit and while I found it fitted, it wasn't overly so. Being in the US I’m not going to bother with a return since the medium will work, but the pink fizz that I have on order is a small. I bought this tee in stone and antique moss in size small. It is soft, comfortable, a good fit and the more subtle hues are perfect for my age group - over 70. So often a warm palette seems to translate as bright red, orange etc. Overpowering for ageing skin and ‘Covid’ hair. I wanted to buy the red earth too but it has been out of stock in my size ever since. I like the longer length and the skinny longer sleeves. The top didn’t ride up or bunch up over the chest like some cheaper versions. I immediately looked to buy a second in a different colour. I bought the coral stripe but it is not in fact coral, as I wear it under a geranium v neck jumper and it nearly matches - it shows at the cuffs and at the bottom as it is quite long and this looks very smart. I bought this in the Lobelia stripe, but agonized between this color and the Hot Pink Stripe (I'm naturally drawn to Cobalt so I skipped that color choice). The colour of this top is lovely but for once with Kettlewell, the sizing seems quite generous. Love this so ordered another as it’s a favorite. Just wanted to share that the coral color, as several reviewers have mentioned regarding some of the other items in this color, is definitely pinker than other Kettlewell coral tops I own. In fact, this top looks much different, pinker and a bit darker than the lighter and more peachy-orange coral striped Breton when placed side-by-side. I agree with everyone regarding the cosy feel of the fabric and the fact that it fits so well round the neck. So often I have to return other brands because of the neck gaping at the back. For those of us with longish legs and who like a slightly longer top, this fits the bill. Buy a medium if you are normally a slimmish size 10. I love this top! I am addicted to stripes and have bought stripey tops similar to this one from various manufacturers over the years. However this fabric is exceptional. It is sooooo comfortable on my skin and not too hot. The shape is great too - nice and long in the body. The arms are too long but I am prepared to put up with that! I often take Small in Kettlewell, but as others have noted, I need Medium in this item. I am ordering more colours. So sad that the cobalt is out of stock. Ordered the coral stripe, coral being one of my better colors. Upon opening thought the stripes looked a bit too busy but upon trying it on it changed my mind. Looks just right and I love the cotton mix. Purchased a second one in lobelia, a beautiful color but closer to the Winter end of Spring, not my best, but I can carry it off well as long as I am wearing makeup. This is possibly my favourite item from Kettlewell. I ordered it a few months ago in leaf, and it has become my go-to top. It's beautifully soft, warm (but not too warm for this variable weather!) and has lovely long sleeves and length in the body, which I like. The green stripe had sold out in L so I as I wanted that particular colour, I bought the LL. It's fine as a casual tee-shirt. The sleeve and body length is generous which suits my shape. The neck isn't too low - a lot of Kettlewell's tops I can't wear because they are too low. Great cotton tee shirt. I’m a UK 14 and size L fitted well. Comfotably soft and I personally like the longer length especially as it’s so difficult to find 100.% cotton tops with length. I’ve browsed the Spring 19 selection and have yet to find another pure cotton T shirt and only the one colour in Summer for the Pima Tee. ( I find anything with elastane in too clingy and I don’t like the feel of it close to my skin. ) so ,disappointed. Please Kettlewell more choice of pure cotton tops .
