SIZE: Large COLOUR: Sea Green
Lovely jacket, I already have two from previous years. I size up in this as I do like to be able to do up this jacket from time to time. This means for pear-shaped me I get a great fit on the hips but the shoulders are a tad big. Nice bottom coverage and I like the slimming seams at the back. As a Roxy addict, buying the Cate jacket was slightly out of my comfort zone and expensive. However, I’m delighted with the slightly longer style which can look both casual and more dressy when required. I’m 12-14 and 5ft 8in so decided on large size in stone. Lovely soft, neutral colour which will be useful with many items in my wardrobe. I probably could have worn a medium but, without looking oversized, this is big enough to be worn over a jumper for added warmth when needed. SIZE: Medium COLOUR: Fuchsia
I am 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 lbs and wear either an M or L in Kettlewell. The medium Cate fits me perfectly. I am short waisted, and love the longer length of Cate compared to Chloe, which unfortunately hits me at the widest part of my hips. Cate, which hits a few inches lower, is slimming on me. SIZE: Large COLOUR: Parisian Blue
I am so glad I ordered this jacket. I chose Parisian Blue and it's a gorgeous shade. I'm 14/16 and bought L which fits perfectly over a t-shirt. It has a fitted look, and I find the longer length suits me well. I would have liked the sleeves to be longer but I can overlook that as I love this jacket. Love this longer jacket. I’m a fan of the Chloe jacket over a dress or skirt even with my long torso but find it a bit short with trousers. The Cate solves the problem as well as boasting decent sized pockets and a revere collar. Zipped up it even has a touch of the principle boy, fabulous!- Lesley (10/08/2022)

Although I love the looks of the other KW jackets on so many, the Cate jacket is the best jacket for me! I love the weight of the fabric, the styling and length. I wear a 14P in most clothing and wear an L in the Cate jacket. I am only 5 ft and a soft straight. Roomy enough for layers, smart enough for the workplace, and casual enough for a cool evening at the beach! For me, my style and my body, it is perfect! I bought Flamingo Pink which is a beautiful, clear, warm, bright color and another, in Cobalt Blue, which a kind Kettlewellie sold to me because KW was sold out. So great to have a longer length jacket from Kettlewell (ladies with big boobs, this length works so much better than the Chloe jacket). I’m also v pleased to have a jacket in Dark Olive. I'd been planning on buying another Chloe, as I have the Amethyst version from about 3 years ago, then they were discontinued. So when Cate arrived I thought I would give her a try. I like both. I find them good in between seasons and cooler summer evening jackets. Casual but smart at the same time, what could be better than that. I am delighted with the new Cate Jacket! It is absolutely perfect! The extra length is ideal because I have a long body and like a jacket to reach below my waist. The fabric is quite weighty and nice and warm in colder weather. The fit is quite roomy which allows the wearing of warm knitwear underneath. It's so stylish, so easy to wear and just perfect. Love the Cate jacket.. I am 5ft 8 inches tall and the Chloe is just too short for me. Cate is a much better length. I bought the Flamingo Pink as zI am a self diagnosed vivid Autumn who loves iSpring colours in the sunny months. This is one gorgeous, beautifully made jacket. Unfortunately the body of the jacket fit well but the shoulders were too broad on me. I am sure it is my body type, not the jacket itself. Sadly, I returned it. I would encourage anyone attracted to it to give it a try.- Deborah (07/06/2022)

Received the damson purple in a small, and the fit was spot on. (Am 5 ft 4in and 114 lbs.). I like the longer body style, it gives you more options than the shorter styled jackets. The color is gorgeous, and it is very comfortable and washed well. I too would love to see a faux suede version for fall. Well done!- Nancy (07/06/2022)

This is a lovely jacket fits well the collar works well for me. I’m a petite size 12 column. As a person who has a longer body the length is good. The hot pink colour is a favourite teams well with hot pink and navy stripe top. Look forward to seeing more vibrant colours. I'm delighted with my Cobalt Blue Cate which I was very lucky to get this week. The longer, more substantial cut is perfect for me, and Cobalt is definitely a wow colour. I bought the Cate jacket in Hot Pink, I didn’t expect to love it but it’s fabulous. I love the longer length it helps to hide my tummy. The Rachael was just too short for me. I just wish I’d been quicker to purchase this jacket as I’d definitely buy other colours but now all sold out in other winter colours my size. This is a very nice jacket. Although cotton the weight is heavy enough to give structure and hang beautifully. I sometimes have to return items because they're too big but the small fitted my 5'4" perfectly. Good for Spring or the cooler days in summer.- Hilary (07/05/2022)

I like this jacket, I like the fit, a bit longer than the others, plus a small collar and easy front pockets. I bought the blue one to go over the Riviera striped tops and it matches perfectly. As a fan of the Chloe Jacket, I was prepared not to like the Cate Jacket in comparison, but I really like it a lot! I like the collar better and the length is not too long for me at 5'4". The color offerings were lovely and when I saw Hot Pink, I knew that I had to try it. It is expensive, but I'm getting a lot of use out of it during this spring weather. I much prefer this to the Chloe jacket that I bought last year as I find the collar more flattering and I prefer the longer length, being 5ft 9”. Flamingo Pink is a WOW for me and it’s a stunning colour, which is what tempted me to buy it in the first place. I do think it pricey for an unlined jacket but it will get a lot of wear and hopefully last a long time. The colour certainly brings me joy when I wear it!- Cathie (27/04/2022)

I bought this thinking it may not work. I have tried the Rachel jacket before and it always made me look boxy and top heavy. The longer length of this is great and the pockets are actually functional. It is a much better cut for me. Great Jacket, thicker than I expected, means it is suitable for springtime and cooler summer evenings. The colour is amazing - Hot Pink! Absolutely love this jacket. The fit is great and just the right weight for spring/ summer. I am sure I am going to get a lot of wear out of it just as i have done with my navy Roxy jacket. Absolutely love the Cate jacket. This jacket ticks all the boxes for me. The Chloe jacket was just too short for my body type (apple) but the Cate is perfect. The jacket comes down to my hips so skims over my problem tummy area. The other design feature I love is rhe pockets - perfect position. I ordered this jacket in Hot Pink and Rose Taupe thinking I would probably only keep one. My colouring seems to be 'late summer/early spring', ie neither one nor the other, and I never know what will or won't work. But I absolutely love both and I'm keeping them. I always admired the Chloe on other people, but it felt a bit skimpy on me. The Cate seems more substantial and much better fitted, occupying a useful wardrobe space somewhere between fleece and jacket. I am returning Damson, which is probably not clear enough for me, and hoping for a restock of Cobalt. Wow!! Absolutely love the Cate I've always admired the Chloe on others but sadly it was just too short for my shape (apple). The Cate changes all that as it's a perfect length on me. I also love the pockets & the position of these - perfect. The offset zip draws the eye away from my tummy area. This jacket is a lovely weight of fabric and so well structured. I’d eagerly awaited a longer Chloe but sadly the Cate wasn’t for me. S seemed too small and M seemed too big. I also found the tan colour more orangey in real life than it seemed on screen, so it’s gone back. Maybe if there are more colours in future I’ll try again and see if I can get the sizing right because it is a fab addition to the Kettlewell range.- Vickie (03/04/2022)

I love this jacket. The length is good, it would seem from other reviews that I was not the only one was hankering for a longer jacket. The colour is stunning, and the quality is excellent. The only slight quibble is that the large size, while it is a good fit on the shoulders is a bit loose around the waist and hips, though the sleeves are only just long enough, perhaps I am just a weird shape! I have received many compliments when wearing it. I am very sad that the other colours have sold out as I would consider buying another. i waited a long time for the jacket to arrive as I was amongst those who had long requested a longer jacket than the Roxy's, Chloe's and Rachel's. I was disheartened by the choice of colours for autumns, but ordered Dark Olive as the best of the 3 offered. Much more fun colours offered for the other seasons. Having tried it on, it just doesn't do anything for me with a strange shape at the bottom. I am very disappointed and it's on its way back.- AJ (27/03/2022)

Prefer this to the Chloe. Just on the edge of Small and Medium. Shoulders 38.5. Bust 35.5. Waist 28.5. Hips 38.5. 5’8; 125 to 130 pounds. Ordered a S which I will keep though just the smallest bit tight across shoulders. Love the longer length and longer sleeves. Blue Spring. Hourglass. 5'8". Between Sm and Med and the small fits perfectly. Sleeves are long enough (Hurray!) and the overall design is oh so flattering. I asked my husband what he thought and his eyes lit up. "Wow.. that is really really nice. Definitely a keeper". And he is not one to just throw out compliments. And he is right - it really is quite beautiful. Well done Kettlewell! Really loving this Flamingo Pink color too - it goes with all my blue spring colors which makes it an easy one and done jacket that will definitely be worn frequently. I highly recommend this jacket!!!! I had been waiting a couple of weeks for it and wasn't disappointed. The cotton fabric has plenty of give so I'd recommend going down a size if you like it more fitted as I do. Bought this to try in 2 sizes: M and L. The Hawaii is a stunning colour - totally love it. Decided to keep the M as the L loses its ‘biker’ shape on me. I’m a size 14. A bit snug around my tummy but it works. Good length and it has a nice shape to it.
