MATERIAL
This fabric, made from a blend of 97% modal and 3% elastane, offers the perfect balance of comfort, softness, and stretch. Modal is a high-quality semi-synthetic fibre known for its silky texture, excellent breathability, and its ability to hold its colour and shape after washing. The addition of 3% elastane gives the fabric a gentle stretch and added flexibility, improving the fit and comfort of the garment. Lightweight yet durable, this fabric is perfect for everyday wear.

Write a reviewI am normally wear a size small / 8-10. I purchased the small and it is very figure hugging, so size up if you want to wear this top on its own (instead of under a layer).
Almost wore out the silky roll neck I bought last year as it was so comfortable and easy to wear. I didn’t mind the slightly loose neck & find this year’s tighter neck less comfy - but you can’t please all of the people etc etc. However, I expect I’ll get used to it and will wear it a lot. The colour is tricky though and am unsure what to pair it with (other than navy). Shall have to experiment.
Lobelia has been the favourite of all my winter colours, since I met with a House of Colour consultant back in 2012, and this silky roll neck is another great addition to my Kettlewell collection! Quality, colour and fit are perfect! and although some may say the clothing is expensive, I still have pieces from the original capsule wardrobe and they’re still in excellent condition, so worth every penny!
I love the silkies and have a growing collection. I ordered a size 14 which is the same fit as the L on me. I did return this one as the colour was not quite right for me in the roll neck. I have realised that I need the very best colours this close to my face so I will reorder.
I love the silky roll necks and have been collecting them for years. I sometimes size up when I want a looser fit. I like to scrunch the roll neck otherwise they are too "neat" for me. I've been wanting a pink one to add to my collection and this one is gorgeous.
I have many of these silky roll necks to wear as a base layer in Winter. I couldn't resist the lovely Pale Peach which is perfect for me as a Light Spring
I agree with the previous reviewer - the production in year 2024/2025 is so much better as the necks do not bag. As a bright spring, I especially appreciate that there is a great mix of neutrals and wearable elegant brights.
I have been wearing the silky roll necks for several years now. Such a great layering piece. I am so happy that the necks have been so much better with this production. The ones I purchased last year all bagged on me, but this year they have been great! I ordered the emerald turquoise which is a little lighter than other items I have in this color, but still very pretty.
