I bought size 12 as I didn't want it too tight. Looked at thd picture of model, where the SRN came down to her high hip. However I didn't see that she was 5' 9", 6" taller than me! So it came well down my thighs. I tried ruching or folding it up, but didn't like the bunched effect. Thought about cutting off a chunk at the bottom but decided against it so, sadly, returned it. I gather lots of people like the extra length, but it wasn't for me.

Like this style and have many but alas the colour doesn’t work for me so returning.

Lovely tops that feel a little thicker this year. The necks are much neater too.

I bought this in Espresso which is a great colour but has disappeared from the website. I went up a size as I hate things clinging. It still clings. It is far too long and the stitching round the neck irritates me. Not at all suitable for wearing as an outer garment, I am wearing it inside out (to stop the irritation) underneath other clothes because I just love the colour. Otherwise it would have gone back.

I really like the material of the silky tops and the terrific range of colours, but why on earth are they so long? Surely nobody wants a top that goes right over their bottom, inevitably making it look bigger! There is a lot of material to tuck in, if you prefer it tucked in. Why not make them hip length, like some of your other tops?

I am normally wear a size small / 8-10. I purchased the small and it is very figure hugging, so size up if you want to wear this top on its own (instead of under a layer).

Almost wore out the silky roll neck I bought last year as it was so comfortable and easy to wear. I didn’t mind the slightly loose neck & find this year’s tighter neck less comfy - but you can’t please all of the people etc etc. However, I expect I’ll get used to it and will wear it a lot. The colour is tricky though and am unsure what to pair it with (other than navy). Shall have to experiment.

Lobelia has been the favourite of all my winter colours, since I met with a House of Colour consultant back in 2012, and this silky roll neck is another great addition to my Kettlewell collection! Quality, colour and fit are perfect! and although some may say the clothing is expensive, I still have pieces from the original capsule wardrobe and they’re still in excellent condition, so worth every penny!

I love the silkies and have a growing collection. I ordered a size 14 which is the same fit as the L on me. I did return this one as the colour was not quite right for me in the roll neck. I have realised that I need the very best colours this close to my face so I will reorder.

I love the silky roll necks and have been collecting them for years. I sometimes size up when I want a looser fit. I like to scrunch the roll neck otherwise they are too "neat" for me. I've been wanting a pink one to add to my collection and this one is gorgeous.
