Thanks for the return of a nice layering piece that doesn't feature that doubled thin knit. This top makes a good transition from casual to out to dinner. The fabric is a nice heavy weight knit, so doesn't cling and the cut is a tad boxy and a bit cropped. I have a 38 1/2 " bust, and purchased a large.

Lovely chalk white colour, rarely wear white, but will add more at somepoint. This was the perfect length to wear with skirts and my new Darla jeans as sat nicely on waist band for a streamlined look. However this Sadie shrunk in length on first was and therefore as it was just about right is too short. I have sent back to KW for them to review. If you have a shorter torso may not be a problem, but for me it meant my midriff was on show.

I bought this top in Silver Moon and Damson. Love the material as doesn't cling and is really comfortable. The Silver Moon goes really well with the sultry navy Joni print trousers.

I am a huge fan of the Sadie top. I now own five colours. It is a perfect length for a short person and I like leaving it untucked over higher waisted bottom halves. It has some structure and looks neat and smart and is super comfortable.

I’ve got this top in a few colours now and I love it! It’s a slightly shorter top in length which means it hangs just on the waist for me; no tucking in or ruching up needed. I sized down as I normally buy LL as I felt there was too much material on my back in the LL. It’s a lovely material which hangs well.

This is a lovely top in a fabulous colour. It’s slightly shorter length sits over the waistband of trousers and skirts hiding any elasticated waistbands. I usually buy LL, but the L fitted better in this style for me.

Lovely style and shape, doesn’t fit too tight or show ‘bulges’. Short length to wear loose over trousers or skirts. The red is a lovely colour. I bought tiered skirt in same colour, but the top is slightly lighter not enough to stop me wearing them together. With Kettlewell I am between sizes, sometimes small and sometimes medium, with this one the medium is definitely better, I tried both sizes.

Loved the material , the hem and length were perfect for me to not have to tuck. But the shape of the armholes was just wrong for me the gape meant from the side you could not just see my bra band but the cup as well. I’m 35 inch chest (30ff) I tried the medium and the small both gaped maybe some darts would have helped but I’m not a good seamstress and didn’t feel I wanted to spend any more money on getting it professionally fitted.

Fabulous colour. Already have 3 other Sadie shell tops. Love the 100% cotton but perhaps just a little too thick/heavy. More or less wearable in our current hot humid weather but a lighter weight cotton would be on my wish list, Kettlewell, please!
