Write a reviewVery stylish but casual top in soft blackcurrant. I like the low hip length on my height and the little vents on the side. I already have it in pink ice. Good late spring / early autumn weight. Not thick. Washes well. I’m between a 10/12 but want the extra room for putting thick thermal T-shirts underneath so got a 12. I think it is quite expensive for quite a lightweight casual top but think I’ll wear it enough to justify the price.
I now have 3 of these and love them over a stripey pima tee. I live in them in the transition period of spring and autumn. The fit is perfect and I love the side split and silver zip. Please keep making them and in more Winter colours!
I love the aqua colour with the silver zip, i was going to return as rather extravagant as i have a lime Dina and the men's light turquoise version! I have tried it on over 3 days and it seems to have a mouth saying 'keep me'! Great fit and just feels stylish, good quality and very comfortable. I like it with the teal joggers. I dread marking these tops as so expensive.
Absolutely love this top! Super soft fabric, amazing colour and it will dress up or down. Can't wait for the colder weather now!
I've just purchased my second Robyn, this time in Soft Blackcurrant. My first was Pink Ice, and I agree that the colour is really beautiful in this fabric. (As a Winter, I have occasionally had to return other Pink Ice items because the colour was not cool and crisp enough.) The quality is excellent and the style is flattering. I sized up for a really relaxed look. I'm not an athleisure woman, but these are a great addition to my wardrobe.
Colour not as bright as shown on website but have kept it as i like the style. Can we have some brighter colours for winters please.
Although I'm officially a 'spring' I opted for the cedar colour rather than the spring option because of the zip colour. I would have the apple too but in my opinion the bright gold zip makes it look cheap. But the cedar is a pretty light green colour with burnished zip is great and I'm keeping it! Size-wise I am somewhere between 10 and 12 but opted for a medium as I like a looser fit for sweatshirts. Length-wise it's perfect - so much more practical than its predecessor the Dina. More colours please - but with non-garish zips!
Pink ice is beautiful in this fabric. I've found this colour too warm in other fabrics but this is perfect. However, there is a facing around the zip which is visible because the fabric is not fully opaque. For this reason I have returned the item. I sized up to a large (I'm a small or medium usually) for an oversized look and because of this the sleeves were just about long enough, but if there had been any shrinkage they would be too short. I also thought the stand up collar was a bit low, I think a taller collar would be more stylish. I may order in Sapphire which hopefully would not have the facing issue due to being a darker colour.
I first ordered the Robyn in a size small, which is the size that I took in the Dina. It was huge on me. Too big all over and too long. I returned and ordered the XS instead which fits better, although still a bit of a loose fit. Runs big. The pink ice color is lovely.
This fits true to size. Sleeve length is perfect for me. Quality fabric. Just a little bit longer in the body than the previous Dina. It is a splurge as I pay in Canadian dollars.
