Really lovely top Sadly was too red for me , thought it would be more burgundy

I ordered this in teal and navy. They will be perfect for autumn and spring - those in-between days between t-shirts and jumpers. Lovely soft fabric and great colours.

My first boat-neck, I had hesitated in the past because I was afraid the neck would be too wide and show my bra strap but it doesn't. In fact it sits beautifully and looks great with a cardigan or jacket. I like the rib material but just wish the sleeves were a little closer fitting, they seem a bit on the wide side and I like the cuff to fit snuggly on the wrist. Apart from that, the size was just right as I am a 10/12, sometimes I size up to a medium but in this case I am glad I didn't.

The fit of this top is what lets it down. I'm a size small and the body of the item fits fine, with a lovely neckline which is what I wanted. But the sleeves are far too wide and baggy! This is a ribbed top which by definition is a fitted garment, but the sleeves looked ridiculous and ruined the line of the top, and looked as though they belonged on a size large. So sadly my search for a quality boat neck top continues.

Utterly fabulous top. The style is excellent, The cotton rib fabric looks beautiful and is really comfortable. I got a couple of these tops when they were first launched in 2024 and I have worn them frequently as layering pieces and as a standalone top. I would say the top fits true to size. I sized up in this top as I wanted a slightly looser fit.

I do like the fabric in the rib Boat Neck and the Cotton Rib Shirt. It gives a lovely silhouette and doesn't cling to lumps and bumps. It is easy to launder. I bought one in French Navy and have ordered another in light chocolate to wear with weekender skirts and jeans. I am a medium in tops and this was true to size.

Before buying I read the other reviews which were positive on the whole and was so disappointed when I tried on the top. I found the material to be very thin and it was really clingy which I can't stand. Would be fine as an (expensive) under garment. What I really want is a Bryony and why they can't do this range of colours in that style is a mystery. Very frustrating.

Nice cosy cotton top for in between seasons, a bit more substantial than some of the essential cotton tops. The neckline is great under jackets and cardigans. I missed out on Atlantic Blue in the Bryony top but the marine navy in this is gorgeous too. Could have sized down, it is a bit bigger than cotton V and crew necks.

I bought three of these the cassis sold out very quickly. I also bought cherry and black. Hopefully more colours will be added.

I don't normally buy Boat neck tops but felt I had no choice but to try this one and can say it fits perfectly and not at all clingy and love the ribbed effect ,, Love it so much I now got 4 colours = Cherry,,Chateau,,Cassis and also Pink Ice and sleeves are the perfect length for me as well as the body
