Write a reviewSuper-Cute and Versatile. Love the sale price. This adds such a fun pop of color; especially when I wear my Hetta Hug Pima Tee. I was concerned at first that this was going to be a bit fuddy-duddy but it's actually really cute!
This is my first purchase of a patterned infinity scarf. I bought the sping colourway in the Hibiscus Chain. I would like to praise Kettlewell on the clever choice of colours in this scarf - Hibiscus, aqua marine, cream and bright navy. The combination of colours means that I have worn it with nearly everything I own from Kettlewell. Taking advice from Jo (who says colours do not need to match exactly), I have worn it with the colours listed and poppy red, coral, stone, various greens, many blues and aqua shades. The only one I haven't worn it with is yellow (but I think you could with some shades). This scarf is much wider than the plain infinity scarfs, making it sit slightly better on jumpers (a bit more, but not too much, bulk). Definitely to be recommended and well priced in the sale.
As they were in the sale, I bought a few more to add to my collection. I’ve been admiring the Autumn Spiced Coral chain and bought it although I’ve newly discovered I’m a Spring! I’ve been wearing Autumnal colours for thirty years so it’s a great scarf to link in some of my Autumn colours to my new gorgeous bright Spring colours!
I love this family of print scarves and have three now. I ordered the Earthy Leopard with some trepidation. But when my order arrived it was the first item I tried and it looked so good I didn't take it off all day. I thought it might work well with my brown and my red outfits but it looks good with many other colours too. Thank you Kettlewell.
I love the Chestnut Leaf print scarf. As so often I've been looking at it and thinking about if for a while. I liked the overall look but thought it may have too many colours in it for this conservative older person. But when it was reduced I decided to chance it and I'm so glad I did. It's a fabulous mix of colours. It goes with so many of my outfits and will get very many wears over the coming years.
A beautiful colour mix and I so wanted to keep it. The trouble was there were two labels stitched into the seam, one of them about an inch wide and it prevented the scarf from sitting well around the neck. I did consider keeping it and cutting the labels off but was unsure if that would help due to the section of label inside the seam. Strangely I ordered two others in green, also at £19 in the sale, and they didn't have labels. So annoying.
I've just bought the Cobalt Godiva. It's very pretty, but it's just not Cobalt. I've tried it with several blues and it doesn't seem to answer to any colour in my collection. As I have a wardrobe full of Cobalt, it's got to go back. I shall console myself with an Orchid Leaf substitute.
Funny, I bought this when it first came out as an Autumn and sent it back. Thought it was dull, and couldn't think what to wear it with. But when I then got used to wearing Treetops, the two Dark Olive green colours from two different years, Moss and similar greens - some would call it tonally, but they are simply my HOC colours worn blended in a different way they suggest always - I decided one day that it would be a perfect match on a chilly day. I don't wear scarves or my dark Autumn colours in the summer or around necks of teeshirts, so come October, it will get worn many times and no doubt admired. I highly recommend the colours and the quality. I now have four of these more recent double Infinity scarves appropriate for Autumns. Can't fault them, and turning two of the much older plain ones felled edges to look the same - so easy!
I like this scarf but am a bit disappointed that the colours are not as clear and bright as they are in the print mock turtle of the same print. The white in the scarf is a bit dull and the colours are softer in the scarf. That is why only 3 stars for quality.
Bought the fuchsia colurway matches well with chalk white fuchsia navy. and purple tops. Santorini again works well with aqua periwinkle tops. Not too much choice in periwinkle tops this season. For me it’s a go too.
